Sometimes you have moments in life where you realize something is not like all the other things. My brother-in-law is a scratch golfer, but you don’t have to see him hit a ball to know that. There mere sound of the ball makes you aware that he’s the best player at Top Golf. And to serious golfers, he’s just pretty good. There is another level far, far above that. I’ve played with professional tennis players before, and it seems that they play by different laws of physics. Josh is one of one. There are some other greats, of course, but nobody has his exact blend of talents.

Well, now I know for sure: it even sucks if it’s a Cowboy who gets injured.

Yep, my wife alerted the credit card companies and the bank for our joint checking/ATM so we were covered. Unfortunately, I didn’t notify my little community bank and my ATM card was a no-go. I just don’t want to arrive with zero currency so I feel a little better. .

Just a little PSA here……. I picked up my Pounds at the bank today. We were in Europe in the spring and I waited too long to order and they didn’t have enough time to get me Euros. It takes about a week to get foreign currencies at our bank. We were using a credit card for just about everything until we realized the credit cards had a $3 transaction fee every time we used it. Those fee are really annoying if you’re buying a bottle of water for a couple bucks!

That was the first thing I thought of. That was one I still need to see one more time. I did NOT see that coming…….Even after I saw it happen! Yes, confusing, I know. 🤷‍♂️

I blame global warming. Buffalo will replace Florida as a retirement destination.

I don’t watch any ESPN unless they have a game I want to see. A bunch of guys all talking/yelling over each other at the same time has ZERO appeal to me. I find Dan Patrick to be the best option in terms of that type of entertainment. He didn’t do the same flawed formula, and I appreciate that.

So, what happened on the 528th day? I didn’t go to UB and left WNY when I was 17. But I know some of those old bars because in WNY at that time 16 was usually “close enough” to go out and drink pitchers with friends who might be at least closer to “legal”. My how the times have changed!

When we lived in Florida the FBI raided a beautiful waterfront high rise condo at like 4am. They separated the husband and wife immediately and began interrogating. It turns out a guy living on a boat in the bay in front of them was hooked into their unsecured wi-fi, and he was into very bad things. No, they are NOT infallible, and nobody knows it better than that couple! I can’t imagine how freaked out I’d be initially. For the record, that’s why I deleted that post. I’m surprised you got the quote, but that’s fine. I like to be a wait and see the facts person, but it does not sound good.

I tried that with some wasted people during the NCAA hoops tournament. It didn’t work, it just made them mad……until my 6’5” buddy who weighs about 270lbs stood up. They suddenly became more “cooperative.” 😋

I am firmly in the “why should I care?” camp.

I think 14 play drives are AWESOME!!! I prefer them with a double digit lead, but ALL TD’s are good. A nice quickie once in a while works for me. Just sayin’. 🤷‍♂️

I think you may have been scammed. They may have given you duct tape, which lacks the wonderful rich flavor of duck, when properly prepared. How much did you pay? That could be a clue as to the fairness of your transaction. Or did you buy by the inch? People will try to take advantage of people in need……how sad. 😋

I think the question of how long does Tua last is critical. I think I’m with many Bills fans when I almost assume he will get hurt. That is not inevitable. It just feels that way.
