  1. Edmunds was always easy to spot out there, he was the big guy. You didn’t need to look at his number, he stood out.
  2. It’s takes like this that make me thankful for the ignore function. I used to kind of do a “manual ignore”, but the technology exists for a reason. Have a nice life.
  3. My upcoming project for the man cave in the basement is framed posters of all three stadiums. The current stadium is easy with a lot of options. I have found some interesting possibilities for the Rockpile, but that is not as easy as it sounds. Obviously, I have a little time before the new place is unveiled so I have time to keep looking. This is my favorite in the clubhouse for the Rockpile print. I think it would go well with the framed program covers from the early 60’s we have on one wall.
  4. RIP A great talent got to choose some great roles.
  5. I try to go to the home opener and one relatively convenient or interesting road game every year. Honestly, the experience is so good at home that is the max I’d want to do in person. I’m getting too old for 7 hours tailgates. EDIT: My road game this year is in my backyard in ATL, but it’s our 2nd night game of the year. I prefer day games, but that was not meant to be this year. .
  6. I know that, but that’s not the point. There are good players on bad teams. Al Davis fell in love with guys who won Super Bowls and overpaid, the opposite. The win/loss record does not determine if a guy can play in the NFL.
  7. The Bills were 3-10-1 in 1970 with OJ on the roster. Was he not an attractive addition for some team? Judge the player, not the jersey he used to wear.
  8. I’m told the anesthesia will give you the best sleep of your life. I wouldn’t know as the only time I’ve been scoped like that I did not benefit from the marvels of anesthesia. They were in a hurry to schedule some unnecessary surgery for the next day that caused me 5 years of hell, but that has nothing to do with your scope. You’ll be fine, no biggie. The anesthesia makes all the difference, I’m sure. .

  10. This is maybe a more direct and HONEST response. Those places are not any of the places I want to go when I get back to WNY. My more common places I noticed had limited ON MENU items. I’m sure almost anywhere can put something together.
  11. Oh, I’m sure there are many great options. I seriously think we even saw a Vegan restaurant. I could joke here, but it really wasn’t time to be open yet. I get that there are places, and I did notice some because I DO look. I’m just talking about the average menu on Main Street in Williamsville or probably most little towns. I’m NOT bashing on it, because if we lived there we’d figure it out. It’s not what we are used to. At one place all 4-5 salads on the menu were built around meat, with not a single vegetarian option for a salad. Think about that. It’s different from where we live, and that’s ok.
  12. I hope you will take this in the light and humorous way it is intended, but my wife lined up a pic of me with some rather Buffalo looking people. She said “I just wanted a shot with you and your people.” There is no telling what I’d weigh if I lived there. It would be like too many ice cream sandwiches….and everything else!!! It’s funny because whenever you back to somewhere you used to live you always want all the old foods. I have “my places” in a bunch of different towns, but there’s nothing like the Buffalo food. Those places are all “good”, but only WNY has Buffalo food. P.S. - I lived in Cincinnati, and that chili is not fit to eat. At least until after the bars closed, and even then….🤷‍♂️
  13. My wife looked at me in absolute shock bordering on horror when I said I was disappointed that we were in WNY that long and I never got to Ted’s or the Mighty or a single slice of pizza, etc. Honestly, even I don’t know how I did it looking back. Our vegetarian DIL was in town less than 24 hours this trip, so that wasn’t an issue. The typical restaurant menu is naturally built for “Buffalo people”. I know, there are options, but not quite what she’s used to or a Mecca for vegetarians. I have a habit of looking now almost anywhere I go just out of curiosity.
  14. Hawes is not too bad for a guy picked at the end of the 5th round. Like Knox, you can get guys like that a bit later than you might think who don’t have big college numbers, but they have what it takes. I think Hawes is looking very good so far on what I’ve watched closely.
  15. My wife is still getting over the food last week. I’ve been shopping for vegetables and fruit since we got home! 🤣
  16. He will be back and get a ring here, in his last season as a Bill.
  17. I am generally a McD supporter, but there is a clear downside to a defensive oriented HC. Your successful OC will get poached after a good year or two. That’s just a fact. You are less likely to lose a DC to a head coaching job. Let’s just win the SB this year and not worry about stuff like that for now.
  18. It’s there a sports version of Trivial Pursuit? They should be brushing up on interesting things to kill a couple quarters with.
  19. I think the people who prefer Fields have probably been institutionalized at this point as a danger to themselves or others.
  20. This is a trap. There is no way I can print here what I was thinking at that moment. I mean, it really won’t even let me try!
  21. I’d like to focus on not shocking Miami fans with a victory for them on Thursday night. One at a time, for me.
  22. Take the Greyhound! Stick to the ground game if you don’t have a real QB!
  23. They seem like a predominantly self aware crowd.
  24. That Jets team was more than a QB away. I’m not saying they can’t get there, but they helped us a lot today.
  25. The internet has said it. What more do you want? 🤷‍♂️
