I saw some boxing while at dinner tonight. I saw Olympic boxing and the very first thing that comes to mind is Roy Jones Jr getting robbed blind in Korea. Was it really as bad as I remember? I’m sure it’s easy to go back and watch that, but it would just make me angry again, I suppose.

I can’t imagine how many girls have said that about me……

It’s entertainment. Even when we lose it’s pretty darn interesting, and I appreciate that.

We’re in the mountains for the week and my wife told work that coverage is spotty (which it can be). She wanted to be left alone. Someone she really likes needed to talk so she’s tucked away doing that while Simone and the women’s gymnastics are on. She was a serious gymnast as a kid and this is HER THING. Very bad timing.

That slip in Nashville happened right in front of me. He DID slip, it sucks but it happened. Prior to that he was almost 100% effective in converting on the sneak (like 13 out of 14?) and the only time he had failed was on a bobbled snap. I’d like another option beyond using Josh as a battering ram, but it’s a nice tool to have in the box.

That’s the best place for a bag of cats, anyway. 😋 (Dog guy here.) I would not be in the same room if that show was on, and my wife concurs. Reality TV, and the “stars” that come from it? Not my thing.

There will be a lot of ups and downs as camp goes along. The defense looks good, so the offense sucks, etc. I’d like to hear encouraging reports on both sides of the ball, but if we can get to the regular season healthy then I have at least one thing to be thrilled about. .

Just my personal opinion, but I think you are making WAY too much out of this. I don’t know what Josh is telling guys out on the field, so how would I know if I approve. They are the pros, I’ll let them do their thing without making up things to get upset about. . .

Fortunately, it’s not important that you or I see it. In fact, in most cases that is probably for the best if we don’t. I’m not in the huddle, on the sideline or in the locker room so I won’t try to judge Josh on this. Diggs made a public display of his displeasure, and it was not a good look. Handle things like grown ups would be my suggestion.

I’m not sure if things can ever get better as long as Haslam is the owner. That sh!t show starts at the top and rolls downhill, ruining everything….as is often the case with cellar dweller franchises.

That’s interesting. I have a friend who lost about 15 pounds so far on Ozempic. I’m thinking back to a call I got from him a few months ago around dinner time. He said “my dinner is at your door, in case you are wondering where that came from.” The last time he had used Door Dash or whatever was from my address and he forgot to change it to his house. I go to the front door and there is a stack of boxes that almost comes up to my knees. He’s got mozzarella sticks and wings and potatoe skins and every other bar food you can think of. It was an INSANE amount of food for one person, like he had zero impulse control. If you can calm your mind and order food responsibly you’d almost have to lose weight! I shouldn’t be casting stones, but I hope it helps him cut down on his drinking as well.

Maybe he wanted to see if they were going to have a football version of the LIV Tour? 🤷‍♂️ That seems more his speed than the NFL where you are supposed to work for your money.
