So, do we have a deal??? 🤷♂️
-
I’ll give you $14 for your seat. And a beer. Deal?

Kinda like….if we just win ONE? Those people will be greedy as hell at the next draft! 😂

That is what they are trying to show us it seems, but that doesn’t make it false. As @Shaw66 mentioned, the roll over on the ground and catch drill looked odd, but it must help your core and it really has to sharpen your eyes and ball tracking. I saw a tennis player recently laying on the ground with someone swinging balls above their eyes to track with a still head to get them tracking and focused. I don’t care if it looks goofy, I just pray it helps! .

Does Orchard Park High have a good team returning?

Our family moved about 1/2 mile on the day of the blizzard. We sent the movers home with the job about 2/3 done so they didn’t get stranded with us. I was a senior in high school, with lots of time on my hands for me and all my friends….with a vacant but semi-furnished house at my disposal. It was easy for teenage kids to get there, but we knew we’d be left alone. That blizzard gave us some terrific memories!!! .

….and he does so rather indiscriminately, friend or foe matters little.

….and if he throws an interception to the other guy, the commentators can just chill out.

Josh holding workouts with the Offensive Weapons
Augie replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Supply chain issues. They are just waiting for the orange slices to arrive before moving on to the next session. -
Ahhh, that explains it. I was thinking it was his effective age.

From the beginning. I charge by the hour. 😋

So…….YOU are that guy??? 😱

Off topic, but “jack in the box” brought to mind a funny memory. I think it was our most recent game in Nashville, and there was a row of newbie Bills fans behind us all dressed up. They were there because it was in Nashville, and they wanted to see the town. I had to explain to them that we should shut the hell up when we were on offense, it wasn’t just about making as much noise as possible for 3-4 hours. Josh is trying to talk to our people. Ohhhh….. So, somehow he got into the habit of patting me on the head when something good happened. He was more drunk than I was, so I let it go. Eventually he said to me “Hey! Your hair is all wet!” I said, “I know! Every time you jump up like that you spill a little beer on me!” He looked very relieved when I laughed.

Sunday Ticket lawsuit alleges price fixing by the NFL
Augie replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know the answer to this, but I have to think the NFLPA protected the players from suffering if the owners have extraordinary expenses, like this lawsuit or the CTE settlement. It’s a percentage of gross revenue, I thought. But I wouldn’t be shocked if there is something that complicates this further. Again, I’m guessing that the players only get hurt if future revenue declines. This lawsuit does not come directly out of their pockets. The “old format” that got them in trouble is kind of going away (like it or not) in favor of multiple revenue sources from multiple streaming services to maximize revenue. It’s morphing into a different creature, and I’m sure the NFL has an army of attorneys ready to go to battle. One thing we know, some lawyers are going to get a bigger boat before this is all over. -

The salary cap is a percentage of revenue negotiated in the CBA with the NFLPA. I can’t see the players being willing to make any concessions for the sake of the owners. This sounds like an outside expense for the owners, or at least that’s the way it looks to me. Some owners can handle this more easily than others, and the league might need to be the safety net for some of the “poor teams”. -
The steep angle of the steps in the upper deck is my biggest concern about the new stadium. Some stadiums can be pretty treacherous. There’s nothing I can do about it, so I’ll just cross my fingers and wait.

The first couple years we were building a team, and after that three out of four were against guys names Mahomes and Reid. They pretty much do that to everybody these days. I hope this year it’s our turn.

Vikings 4th round rookie, Khyree Jackson dies
Augie replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
What a tragedy. I remember the days when I might have been out at 3:14am. You don’t have to be the problem, just being out at that time can be dangerous, especially on a holiday weekend. RIP to all these young men and prayers to their loved ones. . -

AP: Jon Gruden loses bid for reconsideration in NFL lawsuit
Augie replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Serious question, do we know that it was ESPN? Wasn’t some of this while with the Raiders? Was it from the Redskin cesspool? I didn’t care enough to know all the details then, and I remember much less now. I thought the “how they got out” was fuzzy, but I could have it all wrong. Also, I am admittedly not a Gruden fan, so full disclosure there. Not only was I in the Tampa market before and after his tenure, but we crossed paths as our sons would attend the same 7 on 7’s camps at USF. He is very easy to not like. -
Oh, I do drink a lot, they usually deliver my Arnold Palmer with unsweetened tea about the time I land on a stool. And they keep bringing them. Depending upon how far from home I am, I’ll often make a pit stop before going out into Atlanta traffic. You never know. 🤷♂️

Should the Bills trust that Tyler Bass will return to form?
Augie replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are you married? I am, and it depends. -
It’s funny, but when I got into real estate I started always keeping a book in the car because you never knew when you’d have some dead time between appointments. I would also take the book into a restaurant and read at lunch every day. Now I’m retired, but I never bring the book in the house. I just sit at the bar and read at lunch. It would take me a lot of lunches to finish a 500 page book.

I just think it’s more collaborative than that. These guys know each other very well and are on the same team. But what do I know? -

So, how do you like this McDermott guy as a coach. I’m starting to pick up some kind of vibe here, but it’s fuzzy. I’d hate to be the guy who is responsible for anything that goes wrong. Can we pin the stadium filling up with snow causing games to be moved on him too? 😋 A guy missing a kick or dropping a pass is not all on the HC, regardless of how we feel about him. The coach is the coach, but the players have to play, too. .
