  1. +1 to all of these words for me. I would make sure to suggest to Mr. Norwood to aim for the middle instead of relying on a hook.
  2. Somewhere, Adam Lingner says THANKS! Side note, his wife once sat in every seat in the stadium to raise money for charity.
  3. You can name me and Teef publicly, we don’t mind......
  4. That's very cool that something could bring a little closure to the family during the worst possible thing happening. Stupid suits at NASA forced Morton Thiokol to sign off on the launch despite those engineers telling them "hell no, not in these cold conditions. The o-rings will be compromised." Read the book "No Downlink."
  5. Xmas Used to take this weapon down the hill at Chestnut Ridge. Birthday: **insert a picture of an Amazon gift card or bottle of Bourbon/rye**
  6. It was amazing. You could bring in a thermos of whatever you wanted back then (hot chocolate for me) and no one cared. I don't know if they still do it, but this was when you'd show up to the stadium during minicamp, and any available season tickets were TAPED IN AN ENVELOPE to the seatback. You'd take them to the ticket office and pay. Mine were $226. I sat next to a wife and kid of an official NFL "chain gang" guy on the field. He would wave to them when nearby to our seats. They always had the nicest NFL-branded gear (not Bills gear). I still remember watching Magic Johnson walk in during the season opener against the LA Rams on their sideline and EVERYONE noticed (I sat on the visitor side). That was the James Lofton record yardage game. Same season was when we were up like 42-3 against the Falcons in the rain and Deion ran the 2nd half kickoff back and did his hand behind his ear dance about 20 yards out from the endzone. Was an official NFL highlight. I tried to get my dad to go to the Comeback game and he was like "Nah, they stunk last week, they won't win." I didn't go, but listened to it on the radio.
  7. All true.......the ex-wife doesn't care either when it's time to grab the kids for the weekend! (She hates football with the heat of a thousand suns, BTW). The key is to go hard, for a short period of time, end early, and get to sleep. And water. Back on topic: ---My sin is my parents allowing me as a 14 year old to buy a single season ticket in 1992 and attend alone......
  8. SK's goalie ruined Germany today. What a game!
  9. Nice teef, I like you even more now that I know you owned the same car as me, just in Buick skin! 9 seatbelts in those bad boys....a V8 that churned out "maybe" 150HP.....and survived me burying it in an off-road snowfield off Michael road on the way to OPHS. And also then survived my brother falling asleep and crashing it into a ditch which bent the frame. When Goodwill picked it up, they appreciated that everything worked on it! If I still had it I would have done a full frame-off restoration.
  10. My wagon laughs at your toy......
  11. I've heard this story before from my parents who were at that very game.
  12. I love that they said Gene McCarthy's is their favorite wing spot. I hit them up straight from pulling into town every time I go back. Great brewery also.
  13. I didn't and this is a GREAT line that made me respond. Funny and accurate. He started that game, played as well as any human could have during that weather, and put them in a position to win. McDermott hopefully learned NEVER to start a player that isn't ready ever again. And if anyone thinks that this 3-way QB battle is the same as the crap-factory in 2006, you're completely wrong. We have two vets that can indeed throw a ball competently, and a rookie that can throw it 17 miles and is athletic. They're not HOF'ers but they are certainly worth watching and have a hint of promise no matter who wins.
  14. That's not a great photo. I'm 100% in on her as well.
  15. If that was presented to me I would NEVER turn it down. I think she's definitely pretty and I think she's probably a bit of a dirty girl as well. This may completely derail any credibility I have, but if it's her vs. her arch-enemy Erin Andrews for my attention, I'm taking Michelle 10 times out of 10.
  16. As long as the lefty looks like that "most" of the time, I'll double-down.
  17. This absolutely would be a story in the podcast "Dumb People Town" with the Sklar Brothers. Not interested in her; crazy eyes.
  18. It's Abbey Road followed by Revolver, and then EVERYTHING else is way behind.
  19. The voice of reason speaks again.......
  20. All I know is people here in Cincinnati (fans and media alike) said Russell Bodine was horrific all last season. I'm just reporting the news. O-line is the most important part of an offensive success pattern. You may say QB, but I beg to respectfully differ (and look forward to being called an idiot by someone near our nation's capital.)
  21. We were expected to greet our guests within one minute of them arriving at the bar. It made a huge difference. And we always monitored their drinks.......they love that stuff.
  22. I had no idea you were so classy, teef! Kudos.
