  1. 14 picks in and only one WR off the board. Good sign. Secondly. I dunno if Pickett will be good at the pro level but I'm pulling for him...dear baby Jesus do not let him land in Washington 🤞
  2. surprising answer, but fair enough. who are your top 3 wr's in this draft?
  3. im late to the party on scouting day1&2 guys this year but damnnnnnn. I think I like pickens the best outta this class... add in a nice 40 time, and a 6'3" frame, and we dont have anyone like him at all on the roster... i lied i like j williams better, but pickens is a close 2nd IMO
  4. Ascending: Rousseau.... this guy came out RAW AFFFFFFF. basically redshirted, then was a force, then jump to NFL. This was his third year EVER playing DE (including HS). Dude already showed some wicked flashes. 6f 6' listed at 267. That frame is hand built to pack on fast twitch muscle tissue, adding explosion, and getting quicker. The biggest physical transformations these guys see is offseason after rookie year. Went from college buffet, to state of the art diet, and facilities. 10+ sacks, no questions on this one. Descending: Spencer Brown. He's in for some growing pains (but just for the year). D Will, was right next to the rookie to help him transition and take the reigns. Bates isnt the veteran presence, and the biggest question mark on the OL. He's going to be asked to do a lot, and I think we see peaks and valleys this year again. I expect more valleys, but he'll come in down the home stretch before playoffs. Shocking: Singletary. I woulda laughed at me 12mos ago, but here I am. He looked explosive and PO'd running the rock. His role will be more clear this year, behind a better line w/ more continuity. Contract year baby! Last chance to cash in on a FA contract. I expect him to look a man possessed, with the benefit of best passing game in the league. Will he see 1200yds? NO! But he comes close to 1k, has healthy TD output, and most importantly... makes the most of his limited carries. Packing: TAKE A SEAT TBD!!! Nobody said it yet, but its time to be realistic. Take a seat. ITS POYER. The only thing to soften the blow, is the sight of them walking away. Why? Cause its Rachel Poyer!!!!!!!!! My dad always said, show me a fine a** woman, and ill show you a man that's sick of her s***. Jordan finally has enough, in his ear about $$$?!?! NO EFFIN WAY!!! Time for Jordan to get his ring, and sign a sweetheart deal to run it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20 AND MUTHAWHATTIN 0!!!!!!!! Suck on that 72 Dolphins. Hold the champagne Bobby G, you can cry into an ice cold Labatt Blue YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  5. Can he play guard? Down the road maybe theres a T spot open, but for now hes much more valuable if he can kick inside (Saffold is LG right? so hed be right next to his homie in the trenches!) Saw they were the highest pair of T's scored in RAS of any college. Beane likes his freaks!
  6. EF Yahoo and this dude! Ef NY politicians (on every move in the last 20 yrs minus this one). EF NY-sh'City. EF The Jets, Mets, Yankees too! GOOOOO BILLLLLLLLS (the ones in Buffalo for the next 35+years minimum)!!!!!!!!!
  7. if this is a tip of the cap to the Haskins thread, A+ lolllllllllllll Joseph goes by rapper name "YKDV bossman".... video clearly shows a crazy diamond encrusted YKDV chain on him lol this dude is donezoooooo
  8. My thing is, if he were confident in his abilities, contract wise, he'd buy himself more $$ by going out and balling this year. So this strong arm attempt just tells me it's an exit scam. He doesn't seem to like football, his baseball thing is no secret, and he doesn't believe in himself. He's not a leader. He's selfish. Throws people under the bus. If I'm a Cards fan I'd say thank GOD, bc even If he goes out and gives an average performance this year, he's still getting a healthy deal. It just tells me he wants out, and he's in a hurry to do it. Never liked his attitude. Hope ARZ sticks it to him and let's him sit. Anybody know, if he holds out is he contractually able to play baseball? Even if ARZ isnt paying him?
  9. Can you update the title to reflect what "round" were in? I.e. Big Board (Selection 2) etc kinda thing? I like this idea
  10. It's a dialogue. Assuming someone is stupid based on it, is well, stupid. Nobody accuses Watkins of being an Einstein but there's plenty of players that talk like this that aren't morons. Colleges should be embarrassed at pushing players through, but that has nothing to do with players talking in AAVE (Barf that I just typed that out lol)
  11. He just signed a new deal. Its shorter but I doubt he goes anywhere. If we draft a CB high, he'll be on the outside not a slot guy, so hard to picture him being cut or traded before '23 season
  12. Why would you start a rookie + Siran? If anything rookie would start in the #2 slot until Tre is ready
  13. Same, but when I looked inside my shorts, something told me I'm a Giants man
  14. Out there prediction but really fun to picture. Realignment makes tons of sense, regionally but also rivalry wise too, that's a great idea. I hate most of the names but those are admittedly hard... however, my fav was the St Louis Arches, cool freaking name. Some kinda archery dude could be really cool if they were smart with a logo!!
  15. like his tape, but plays in weaker conference and this doesnt exactly leave me breathless
  16. No better way to deal with the depressing reality of the weekend being over
  17. Raider fans reaction to more years of qb purgatory
  18. Holy president of the caucas batman lollll
  19. If BPA then it also fits a need. Teams who can create mismatches with a TE have been terrorizing the nfl playoffs for 10 years now! Sneaky way to get another weapon on the field, and as a beast of a blocker his use is unlimited. Knox missed one game rookie year, 4 his 2nd, and 2 last year. Howard ruptured his Achilles in 2020, and several other lower body injuries. TEs get banged up, and there's nothing to say he couldn't potentially beat out OJ in camp or by mid season. We also have a 10-15m $ question mark upcoming that we could use an insurance policy for.
  20. No NFL Network. I cancel cable during off season... anybody know where I can find it without. I was born in 88, so I remember the hype around him, and have seen the highlights, but wish I was old enough to remember him better than I do. Side note- Awesome to have a stud DE finally, because the most dominant DE I've seen here is Mario. He really crushed for a few years, then Rex pissed him off the last year. As good as he was here, I don't feel like he belongs in the same category of dominant as Von.... let's hope!
  21. Any first rd'er isnt exactly an unknown prospect. First rd is your most known sure fire prospect. We need to take best value for our future. We have only 2 legit outside WR's-- so no depth there. Crowder is on a 1 yr deal, and McK has never had a 300yd season. Saffold is on a 1yr deal, Bates is still kinda unknown, as well as Brown (to a lesser degree). OJ Howard is on 1 yr deal, we could lose Knox to FA market. We absolutely need a #2CB. Likely need a new starting MLB. Poyer and /or Hydes days are limited. Every single one of those is harder to replace than RB. I'd love to have a Breece Hall, sseriously I would, but its a bad value pick. Its buying rims for your car when you dont have a 401k. Look at all those needs we could need to fill in the next year. Also, the track record on top RB selections hasnt exactly been can't miss either. It sucks, and he'd be really fun to watch, I just dont see it is all.
  22. really wouldnt take anything near as shocking to set that sequence off. could see a girl baiting him into a 1 night stand, with an unsavory story afterwards. could be motivated by money grab, or a girl po'd hes back in the league, or both. hes gunna have a target on his back in that regard 100%
  23. heck yeah! good for him. TE Univ seemed to help Knox put it all together last season. thats the kind of stuff the props pro's do. how huge would that be for this team if he took another big step. players bodies make the biggest jump the off season after rookie year. 6' 8" leaves a lot of room to add muscle. same with the other rookie Rousseau, i expect a big jump outta him. hes tall and lean. plenty of room to pack on muscle. big jump going from college cafeteria food to nfl nutrition plan with trainers setting your diet.
  24. Still need TE2 even if we extend Knox. He'll be expensive but one of the positions hardest to keep drafting younger at. Took Knox till his 3rd year to pay dividends. Cant draft a player high, spend 2-3 years developing and let him leave. Would rather move on from easier pieces to replace i.e MLB and S
