  1. Gabbert? Or we talking PMTs "Blake of the Year" Recipient, Mr Bortles
  2. This happens in nba, amd maybe mlb, any history of this in the nfl? Curious in general not even this scenario specifically
  3. I mean they don't exactly know what they have in Trey Lance. There's no way they can give up what they did for him to move on after one slop fest game, and an injury start 2.
  4. Side note, they went from a pretty meh coaching destination to a solid D with tons of young studs and a pantry stocked with picks. Would love to see them land Peyton. That d is ready to go, just need someone with a vision for their offense. Need to make sure they don't win any close games lol
  5. 9ers are dumb. Will be fun to watch but not a team with the luxury of doing this. Shanny is a kid in the toy store spending all his money on the loudest toy
  6. Different roles. Your slot guy should catch a high volume of short/underneath stuff. Gabe stretches the field. Lower volume. Apples n oranges
  7. I reallyyyyyy like Shakir. I might get blasted and im even hesitant but in an imaginary situation. I'd trade Shakir for him. Moore really has game breaking ability. A threat to take it to the house on any touch. Line him up near Gabe on a screen let the young men grind. Idk that i even think one's better than the other but different skill sets. A home run hitter in this offense would put us over the top.
  8. Because the 2004 and 2022 nfl Is the same product huh? 🙄
  9. What's the going rate on Frazier promotion again? I think it's two years consecutive 3rd rounders, for a coach, and 3 for a GM?
  10. If he wasn't a bone head I'd have some interest. I dunno that he's coachable if pitt is getting rid of him. They have an eye for talent and churn out receivers non stop as far bsck as I can remember. Sucks because he brings a frame we don't currently have... I'd rather continue to develop Hodgins. Would love a big bodied high point guy for Josh in redzone
  11. McKenzie has 1 official fumble, that kc one is on him too. If it's not an option play, then at the very least he's inexplicably trailing josh when there's blocks to throw. Thst sounds equally as ridiculous as not being ready on an option. McK dropped an easy one right into defenders hands game one. McKenzie has been responsible for 3 turnovers on 17 catches. Josh is the best qb in the nfl and our best running back, when you touch the ball that much (especially when you dont throw picks) you get a touch more leniency on the occasional fumble. "Mck as a scapegoat" get that tf outta here. 162 yards, I'm sure we'd have no chance at replacing that kind of production 🙄🙄🙄
  12. It's crazy the errors he's fixed. I completely forgot about the superman ball mistakes as far as the 23yd sacks lol did he have any of those last year? Or even the last 2? Seems like aeons ago
  13. Just an observation but I don't think anyone's saying that if he's out there killing it. If you're going to kill your brain I can atleast comprehend the Brett Farves out there unable to hang it up. Doing that for a ceiling of a Trent Edward's career seems like more of a waste. Dudes really young though, and I don't think you make it thos far without having some "but that can't happen to me" mentality. He's 24, it's what I would've done at that age, drunk on testosterone. I dont have a point here just observations
  14. That looked worse than Danes injury good Lord, and dude shook it off.
  15. Atl has been money too. You'd think there's enough savings betters to keep the line on track with where it should be, but people see ATL and blindly pick against them. Been loving it lol don't tell anyone else
  16. "Boy Hackett has russ Wilson and can't score. We were going to offer a job to that Dorsey guy but how would we handle the media ****storm, off a guy who crumpled a paper. Sure we've handled gun charges with stars like Dumervil and Talib, but this is too much"
  17. Bingo. Well find out cause there's no way we're not going to see other teams try it
  18. Had no clue what the Wolford thing was! I woulda been 5 so makes sense but wow, what a grimy deal. Especially by an (at that time) in division team. Found an article on it, with quote from Irsay... not that I ever liked the guy, but I sure as hell don't like him anymore than I did. Sky judge is inevitable in my opinion. Too much BS going on, and at the same time, can be done much more quickly than standard procedure for challenges now. Let's hope they have the decency to make this guy a full time employee 🙄🙄🙄
  19. Didn't the league do this for like 5 weeks a few years back with challenging DPI, and collectively the officials decided they weren't over turning a single one under any circumstances? (Think it was the Nikel Robey missed call that got Rams to SB)
  20. Agreed. That's a great rental price. Would've had no interest beyond a rental year. "Both fish and house guests stink after 3 days" Maybe they can hire Billy Beane as their GM 😆😆😆 gunna need it with 100mill less than everyone else
  21. The biggest knock on him was his physicality (aside from not playing zone). I saw him come in like a piss missile for a stop yesterday, shed a block too. Then that INT was purely mental of, I want this more than you. Even if he doesn't start opposite tre layer this year he's a huge asset when we want to give him some man to man stuff. Excited to see him continue to grow
  22. Like anything it's a combination of factors. It's obvious hearing him talk about the game he loves it. Dude has a photographic memory about every game and play, seriously. On PMT he was referencing down/yards/play what the defense was giving for looks, why he made a decision, for regular season games 10+ years old. He is not without blame but I do blame coaching and GM. If you have a guy like that, disinterested in the game you're not giving him the proper help and not doing your job of motivating your team. They can't make a player care, but they aren't able to even cause a spark. I give 60% coach/gm, 40% Rodgers.
  23. All respect I think you're wrong. Josh cut up field because the play is intended to make a def player commit, once a commitment is made is when josh either keeps or flips. There's really no excuse for not being ready when you are the option. Especially nit with an aggressive player like josh.. he acted like this was a random uncalled lateral
