The AFC Championship game is not sold out yet
BillsShredder83 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, if youre talking about just paying for transportation (flight, car, whatev) + Hotel --- and then tailgating to watch the game outside the stadium. That sounds f'n dopeeeeee. Are there any large Bills groups setting up a Bills tailgat for everybody to meet up at? I dont have $$ for tix, but am more looking for some Buffalo Fan Vibes, than I am going in. Tailgating and watching with Bills fans sounds like 85% of the fun as going inside is..... for about 50% of the price -

Wait so you buy the initial ticket cheap from Ticketmaster now... then check 1 or 2 hours earlier and you can pay to "upgrade", as in Ticketmaster will sanction it.... youre trading your current ticket + $$ = new better ticket Or are the original tickets you bought "insurance" in case and then they'll g2 waste if you do find cheaper but better seats? -
Buffalo watch party (This is a question, not an invitation)
BillsShredder83 replied to ToBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds cool. Anybody know if any private lots will invite people out for a tailgate for the game? For either AFCCG or possibly, God willing, a Superb Owl Tailgate??? Itching for some Buffalo vibes but most of my friends family are gone from Buff. Seems like something thered be demand for??? -
LOL thats actually a brilliant comp. Wonder if MH is old enough to get that comparison LOLLLL possibly not

This is the place I was looking at going to for the first Bills/Ravens playoff game, and it sounded like it was pretty dang difficult to get in the door with people standing in line at 6am. Honestly, thats freaking awesome but if thats true its probably not the right environment for me. Dont mean to be a beggar and a chooser, a bit worried itll be so jam packed that ppl end up jockeying for position to see TV where youre not at a weird sideways/ hard to see angle. If someone else has a better idea of what gameday up there looks like, I'm open to it. Sounds like I need to try and check that place out during regular season though when its a smidge less busy. Mural outside looks siiiick Whats your viewing experience like over there been? Just nervous itll be so over crowded it'll be hard to move around or get a good view of the game

I cant remember exactly, and it might have even been Diggs (sore subject, but quote holds up regardless of who it was). 'I'd rather have a guy out there that you gotta try and help settle down on the field, than a guy you gotta hound to get fired up'

Early on i thought the "fans are gunna love this guy" stuff was all about how quirky he is --o-m-g shoes give you cancer-- silly camp fodder, easy light hearted story for reporters to write about type. DAMN AM I GLAD TO BE WRONG!!! I think what throws me off the most is his kinda hippy'ish vibe-- and then is just an absolutely diabolical menace on the field. Side note: anybody who saw video of him walking in to this last game.... dude is packing a straight baby arm LOL legend has it the equipment manager had to specially fit 'him' with a shin guard as a cup. What in the AI is this?????

Hey long shot here, but me and the wife are looking for a place to get together with some other Bills fans. Were about an hour outside of Charlotte in Hickory NC. I know there are 2 Bills Bars in Charlotte, but in 2020 I heard they were impossible to get into. Fans were standing in line at like 6am to get in, and I just cant risk that chance of not getting in. Anybody know a more lowkey option in the area? Maybe an unofficial Backer Bar? I need to be around some fellow fans, but also can't be in a place thats packed like a HongKong Subway car. Again, I know its a very long shot, but heres me shooting a shot lol

Jets request to interview Joe Brady
BillsShredder83 replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly I get what youre saying... but sucks to be that team with a constantly firing assembly line of new coaches. So the Jets and the Browns of the world get to disrupt playoff teams bi-anually at best..... meanwhile we're trying to win a SB. OHHHHHH ANDDDDD now we're the ones who have to wait to hire a coach off the scrap heaps, because all the bad teams looted anyone worthwhile, and we can't interview for a POTENTIAL vacancy? Sorry Jets/Browns/Jags. You get what you get, maybe what GunnerBill mentioned will discourage them from hiring coaches that theyre unwilling to commit to more than 12-24mos 🤷♂️. Might prevent the 'treading water' David Culley & Lovie Smith type hires -
Jets request to interview Joe Brady
BillsShredder83 replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall
Obv im biased and dont want him to leave, but legitimately I dont want that for him... the place is a black hole! Literally murders the career of every QB drafted there. HC same. You end up with a legitimate "Jets stench" on you... its like some companies would rather hire entry level to train ppl the right way, then re-train someone with previous experience. Unfortunately, our Sabres also have this. Scared to bring in even a player for fear that their stench rubs off on their stenchless roster. Anybody think that the Jets wouldnt have ruined Josh? Gross thought, but id bet heavy that hed have wound up in Darnolds shoes, no question Anybody know if these OC meetings during a current season are remote? They gotta be right? Start remote-- maybe heats up and a few virtual meetings, once season is over they can get face to face. Hell, id even be cool if Jets came to Buffalo and got a hotel suite to talk in, but theres no way in hell current Coordinators should be traveling to other cities for these interviews until season is over -
So we're moving on from Harbaugh right?
BillsShredder83 replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally I find this more incriminating on Lamar than Harbaugh. I get why as a franchise you cant let a guy like that walk, and at the same time the risk there is Team Success Purgatory. If there was ever a year Lamar had his best chance to do it, it was this year with this surounding cast. Easy for me to say with no mulltimillion dollar, secure job on the line... and I said this at the time... but they shouldve traded Lamar. They were and are hovering right at their ceiling..... so what do you want as an owner/coach/fanbase..... guaranteed winning season over all else? Or do you possibly trade 'consistent regular season wins' for a potentially higher ceiling? If Im GM or Coach, I wont lie; im keeping that formula. Very high risk! Now as a fan, theyve won twice, maybe thats good enough! I really wouldnt blame them If Im a fanbase like Buffalo w/ McD, and I think were stuck at a ceiling; I might be willing to get more aggressive. Luckily, for now at least--- I think McD is near but not at his full ceiling, BUT Josh is showing us each year his ceiling get a little higher. THAT Josh + this McD -- can and should get it done. However, if we watched Joshs game plateau at what its at now... and we hit another 2-3 year skid; losing in 2nd or 3rd rd.... then im willing to take try for the Phil Jackson/Doug Collins gamble -
While i certainly hope we wouldnt intentionally Nerf him from the offense for an entire season and 2 playoff games... something I have been screaming for is Ray Davis Redzone Carries, and it 100% seems like we saved that look for playoff deep stretch. That one would make a lil more sense to save though, since we have Josh and Cook for the RZ, which is more than good enough to have gotten by with.

I dont even disagree... but we dont KNOW either. Take a room full of loud, jacked, and rich frat boy type personalities in a locker room; throw a quiet intellect who likes to ball, and you wouldnt know the difference between the two. It wouldnt surprise me if thats it, and hes here for a paycheck. hes professional enough to play at a high level and NOT love it.... also wouldnt surprise me if our run game development has naturally taken him off the field. could simply be, him and Josh havent synced up yet... theres g2 be a reason NFL is the only league we see next to 0 in season trades... nor do we see barely any player for player trades. if it worked better, we would see it more.

Josh wanted to lateral on that 3rd and goal
BillsShredder83 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eh i saw what yall were thinking, but I think the camera just happened to be at the right angle where it looked like he broke the 4th wall for a second... legit think his head just got pushed in a way -
Add him to the float though please. Along with Poyer (Micah currently signed so covered there!) maybe Morse too, but hes won one already

Unrelated to thread.... Keon was the smallest ankle slap away from a house call on that slant ughhhhhhh

There were signs all day yesterday! #1 Wife put out during the early afternoon yesterday. Just wow, unbelieveable team player yesterday! Really wanted that W, knew we'd need a mediocre D to get it done and boy did it #2 Was watching brand new comedy special Ari Shaffir yesterday, there was a Bills joke. Great job Ari #3 Won $69 on the first game. Thanks for all your sacrifices, but maybe the biggest off all was Fitz leading the charge!!! Not even kidding, that performance had to be worth a point or two for the crowd yesterday!!!

A reminder to everyone regarding the upcoming game
BillsShredder83 replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
This always comes off as rude, but I'm intending to be helpful. This formatting is brutal on a message board to read. You'll get more ppl to read with paragraph breaks every 3-4sentences. -
Is he though? He was coming out.... but we put him on that strange calista flockhart diet. Seems too small now and either gets washed out easily, or takes a 180degree loop path to the QB, taking too long and losing contain. His entire tenure here has been strange

Some of this youre reading is negative nancies...... but a lot of this is die hard Bills and college fans, thinking about a draft too. I know plenty who like the draft more than the SB (obv when Buff isnt in it). Im by far not the most knowledgeable college fan, but im constantly looking ahead to the draft. Even if we win the SB this year, Ill be excited looking forward to the draft, and not just who Buffalo takes. The draft is fun for all 32 teams, and a day where every fanhood can feel good about the future. The whole process is interesting to many, even guys that watch 0 college
