  1. Agreed, but, at least this one didn't last long. Less drama this year.
  2. How could he not have won! Amazing performance!
  3. So, what is your point. Everyone who voted for AD watched tape on him? From multiple games.
  4. It does look good and well done. You could argue others could be there, but, can't argue those players shouldn't be on the All-Pro Team. I like this. Should there be a 2nd Player voted All-Pro team. Not sure. I think I like it this way. I would be fine with either. Seeing the top 5 at each position later works for me with one team. I respect the players input and opinion rather than stats of a player who has played hurt all year. To earn your teams respect and your competitions respect are two very impressive things. Aaron Donald has earned that from his peers and vote says so. For Jacobs really impressive kudo's to enter Free Agency. Agreed, well said!
  5. I am not a negative poster. I am very optimistic. The sky is not falling and I think we can win the Super Bowl. I am going by the eye test with LESS consistent drives than last year and not on statistics. Sorry you don't like that. I think contributing factors that are and can improve... - Josh's elbow - Dorsey being a new play caller - lack of slot receiver to help move the chains - have not had it in the past consistently, but, recently, Cook and Singletary helping consistently move the chains - drops specifically Gabe Davis and Isiah McKenzie - red zone turnovers --> drive killers, not moving the ball, but, taking points off the board and demoralizing We need to continue to improve these areas as we have been. In order to win the Super Bowl we have to beat the best teams and I think we need to move the ball more consistently to win the Super Bowl and beat the best. We can do it and I am confident we will be able compete to win every game. Go Bills!
  6. I am great with all of these and want them too. 8 and 9 aren't necessary, but, fun IF they happen. IF 1-7 & 10 happen we will be very successful! Yes, that should be added and would help us keep moving the chains and extending drives. That would be a very good thing.
  7. It is a conversation. Very, very grateful to have McD and what he has done for our team and fanbase! THANK YOU Coach!
  8. Well said. Stats are only relevant when used in the right context. Almost anyone can sell a one sided skewed argument.
  9. Hopefully he still has his health and hasn't done permanent damage. If he never plays again, he should get hush money from the Dolphins and/or NFL for putting him back in the Bills game and/or playing the following week where he got concussed again. Agreed
  10. If Chicago wants to select a QB they can probably get a reasonable return on Fields. Not sure what that is, but, maybe a 2nd rounder. Maybe a even a 1st after the top 10.
  11. Agree with all, all being... 1. Why not more short crossing routes, especially with McKenzie, Hines and Knox 2. Dorsey and holding back for the playoffs, I am hopeful, but also not holding my breath 3. RZ turnovers need to stop. Most of them aren't even close and are head scratching Go Bills, let's get this done!
  12. Agree on Cousins level. The part I disagree with is paying premium money for Cousins level. At least Cousins doesn't have a long term deal. However, his cap hit on short deals is acting like a long term deal.
  13. It does not mean they can't do better. The consistency of the drives is my bigger concern. It seems like it is great drive or no drive. And, no drive happens for a quarter at a time.
  14. Awesome! Ok...why is that and why is it relative? I agree with your concerns. Just move the ball and chains. Josh will make the big plays when needed and they are not always needed.
  15. Interesting. I have seen that more than we should. I don't have the answer, but, interesting.
  16. It will be interesting what happens, agreed on messy being an understatement.
  17. Agree to disagree. To say its a hard truth is a lopsided opinion. He is middle of the road in talent and doesn't lead the the team. No thank you.
  18. I agree with you on Whaley. Except he was the GM. He never picked a Coach or QB. But, I agree with you. I think Beane is much better. But, Whaley could of been above average. Whaley had skills and couldn't use his words well, but, still above average. The Watkins trade up was bad, FAs, roster moves and drafts were all slightly above average and he was better in Pro Player evaluation. I think Whaley was an above average GM that didn't have the tools he needed. I think Whaley's correct seat on the bus was Assistant GM or Assistant to the GM.
  19. Totally disagree. Von was/is our biggest playmaker on Defense. IMO he was signed for big games to make plays such as the KC game and playoff games. I think he brings/brought a lot to the locker room and teaching the young players too. He embraced our Bills culture and improved it also.
  20. I agree that Edmunds is or isn't the first block to fall that dictates the other directions. I think we will sign him.
  21. Valid question and probably not impressed he didn't get a deal first. The Lamar situation is going to end poorly. A little messy. I don't think he gets a long term deal from the Ravens. I think that would be better for the Ravens. Let him play his 5th year. Franchise him if you have to after that or give him a 3 year deal, but, he probably won't take that. So, you think $15 million a year for Edmunds. I think that has been the number all along. It may have been slightly less. Depends on what the cap goes up to. Can the Bills keep 2 of Poyer, Edmunds and Oliver. Maybe sign Poyer to a 3 year deal, Edmunds to a big deal and let Oliver walk after his 5th year or franchise tag for a 6th.
  22. Good point. If you aren't in the playoffs annually or close you don't have a Franchise QB. A Franchise QB should be able to carry your team in almost any season. A Franchise QB is not a very good or above average QB it is the best of the best for a long period of time. Previous Franchise QBs on the decline... Aaron Rodgers Tom Brady Russ Wilson - unless H2o is correct above and Russ was never as good as he appears Matthew Stafford - is on the decline, but also previously declined some years back - but, he was a Franchise QB, Detroit was just so bad they didn't compete as much as they should have Current Franchise QBs Patrick Mahomes Josh Allen Justin Herbert - probably Joe Burrow Recently retired Franchise QBs Drew Brees Ben Roethlisberger The choice was not to extend him and continue to play on his current deal which could have been two more year. They then could have franchised him for a 3rd year. They had options. Believing in their College Coach Kliff Kingsbury to be able evaluate a NFL Franchise QB and listen to him to pay him for a scheme specific team vs a traditional Franchise QB was the problem. Now the Coach is fired and the scheme is gone. The gimmick is gone. It is going to hurt. If his College Coach could not get him to study and he now is paid I am confident the new regime will struggle more with him. Just my thoughts and glad it is not our problem.
