  1. Isn't it ironic that last season people were complaining that Star didn't make many splash plays or tackles for that matter. Some people would try to tell them last year that he occupied blockers and did it unselfishly. Now people are saying we really miss Star.
  2. Fumble recoveries are but not interceptions.
  3. 5 weeks in and I'd say it's a chronic problem. What is also lost on people is we are in top 10 in blitzing attempts, only problem is no one has so much as created a hurry blitzing (check the stats). We are 31st in hurrys, 32 in sack%......it is really hurting and the team can't cover right now either. Not to mention the zone is getting chewed up by any QB.
  4. Agree with all of this, it can be backed up with stats as well as the eye test. I asked myself last night after 5 games what we do well and what we don't and checked my eyes vs Stats and it's not complicated. Our QB is excellent and by far our best player, the receivers have had some drops but have been pretty good, the Oline pass blocks well, Run Blocking is not so good. On defense we've Blitzed at a Top 10 rate and yet are at the bottom in hurries, pressures, sacks etc. We can't cover in Man right now, and our zone is getting picked apart. I'm wondering if some of the problems aren't more complicated though after a 5 game sample.
  5. In 2019, Beginning in Week 5; Chiefs lost 2 in a row , 3 out of 4 and 4 out of 6. They then preceded to go unbeaten the rest of the way.
  6. Maybe the NFL should reschedule the Tuesday game a few more days so the Titans can get more practice time in and you won't have to worry about them pulling hamstrings
  7. They had a bye week plus 2 days, after playing 3 games. You guys go ahead and worry about the Titans conditioning level.
  8. I'm not buying what you're selling about the Titans, they've been holding workouts
  9. I seriously doubt they are out of shape and not getting treatment for injury
  10. You think this place is a cesspool, the Sabres site makes this place look civil. Cursing, name-calling, pontificating you name it.
  11. This actually happened in baseball because of the 1972 baseball lockout. Tigers finished 86-70 and Red Sox 85-70....guess who made the playoffs
  12. It gets to the point of really impacting competitve balance for other teams
  13. Maybe the NFL should fine the Titans the amount needed to pay the Bills
  14. Hated across the league like the Astros. and they did originate in Houston
  15. I disagree, and I'm no apologist for the league, Baseball had a problem with the Marlins and Cardinals. How they handle the Titans is the biggest question yet to be determined. Still salavageable as one team of lunkheads caused the problem.
  16. Yeah they don't need to make a decision at this point. The biggest question is where does it go for the Titans?
  17. I think the NFL will postpone the Bills game for now, on to Kansas City, the league will figure out the Titans situation. As for any final conclusions about the Titans game, they'll postpone and see where it goes, may not even need to make it up or the league assigns a forfeit at the end to have the games add up to 16.
  18. I think they'll shut the Titans down. If they can or need to make up the game, deal with it down the road.
  19. I'll say it again, don't overreact, the NFL world has one team that was cavalier about following protocol. Why are the other 31 teams forced to accomodate their screw up? Send a message, violate protocol and have a breakout, and we aren't shuffling the whole world around for you. The protocol seems to work for everyone else when followed, remind everyone that to have a season this is what we need to do. Ridiculous to shut down for 2 works unless there are multiple breakouts. Don' t reward where there is no reason too. Rest of league: no postive tests. Titans SIX days in a row!
