  1. Great topic! Although I think it my be more appropriate after tonight's game. And, since that's the case, I won't answer until tomorrow. Some great points made by posters: *Having said that I can't help but wonder if some aren't overrating the seeds. Again wait until tomorrow. But, Cleveland, Indy, Tenn, Balt are all tough opponents. * If Miami is involved after today it could impact how I feel. * Getting the second seed and having Josh out or other important guys is no way to go. * People are brave by saying just to play balls to the wall until the wrong injury happens * Keeping momentum seems important, if you can maintain it and get your guys out with a decent lead that's ideal. * If I remember correctly, did NE not win the Super Bowl in 2014 after pulling Brady (others?) and put Garapalo in at halftime of a 17-9 loss to us in week 17
  2. If the refs hadn't intervened we might have gone for 60!!!
  3. Gosh its fun just like the old days!!!!! Congrats
  4. So teams that finished Over .500 vs. a team finished under .500. In other words any team 9-7 that plays a team 7-9. It seems to be a pretty shoddy analysis, especially since its Harvard. I can think of a million questions and definitions about this study that invalidate it. Like does the reputation of the team not matter? A 7-9 Lions team is a little different than a 7-9 Patriots team. Is it a divisional game? When people refer to a "trap" game, is it not more like a 12-4 Packers team playing 4-12 Giants team; the week before before the play a 12-4 Saints team for the #1 seed; and the week after playing an emotional divisonal game against a 10-6 Bears team? And, don't people refer to a team underperforming like being a 14 pt favorite and playing down to the opponent only to win by a FG in the second half? Wouldn't put much stock in this study. Believe what you want, but if you ever coached before and had a team come out flat, you understand the heuristic about a trap game.
  5. Good point about KC, still much to happen at this point.
  6. Don't forget if the Bills lose this week, or more realistically in NE in week 16 and the Steelers win this week and against the Colts at home in week 16; the Bills will not be playing week 17 with a chance at #2 seed. The only caveat is the #3 or #4 seed could be in play if Tennessee is able to win in GB. I'm not sure the seed is enough to make a huge difference, it could also be moot. If that's the case the Ravens could be in trouble provided Miami takes care of business.
  7. The way to handle the Steeler D is to spread them out and limit their "Blitz" game options. Defensively, it's simple, tackle and limit yards after catch.
  8. Bills active roster very healthy headed into weekend (radio.com) Just sayin'
  9. Thanks I never would have known that
  10. Dude, if you think the fourth quarter performance will work week in and week out knock yourself out.
  11. I'm not sure why you sen't me a list of winning teams they've beaten
  12. Apparently, viewing that performance as anything other than an eyes sparkling fan are off limits.
  13. Today's performance was absolutely perfect!
  14. This is getting ridiculous, I never said the Bills sucked. You guys are all so sensitive its pathetic.
  15. Dude, you know what I'm saying. They won this week great it was perfect. Let's keep following the fourth quarter formula from today. We can't lose. Jeez
  16. I now understand about people on this site complaining that you can't say anything negative after a win. It's ludicrous .Bills are perfect is that better
  17. If you can't understand that the way we played in fourth quarter especially is not good enough I can't help. They did some things some of which have been repeated over and over that will not play against good opponents.
  18. Not good enough. Acceptance of that performance is not what we're all after. I doubt McDermott will be very happy this week either.
  19. I'm happy we won. But anyone who thinks today was a good enough is sorely mistaken. We were fortunate Lynn and the Chargers self-destruct regularly.
