Carlos Dunlap told to "stay home" by Bengals

If he gets cut , which is likely to happen by Bengals, perhaps we kick the tires. I don't think anyone is trading for him. -

Agreed! When you hear people like Bradshaw and his 50% comment and others of the "lazy" crowd comment on Josh it makes me want to puke. We have a 24 year old QB, who is 5-2 and in first place. He is on pace to throw for a 67.6% comp, over 4600 yards, 36:9 TD:int and 465 yards rushing with 7 TDS. If I hear one more person say if Sam Darnold was our QB he'd be doing better.......⛏️

I'd give Josh a B/B+ for his performance. Anything below a B- is unreasonable. There is a thin line amongst about 4-5 plays yesterday where the score goes from 18 to the high 30s. And, the responsibility for the failure of those plays, missed FGs etc. is very low from JA. His stats and the eye test tell you the team just needs to clean a few things up. The offense is close to getting back to where it needs to be, perhaps a healthy Brown and return of Feliciano does the trick.

Week 8: Patriots at Bills

I think this game is going to be a battle royale. The Bills want to take control of the division and defeat their nemesis, the Pats are pushed into a corner and realize a loss to the Bills will likely spell the end of their divisional rein. -

Yesterday he was spewing about the lack of intellectuals being the biggest problem we face. -

Really the penalties were the biggest negative this week, especially the drive stoppers. Both the offense and defense showed progress. -

Went well I think. I thought we got better as game went along. I figured it would be ugly, but we beat NE next week and back on track. -

Can we stop the complaining? it is what it is!

So if the Bills are this years Chiefs, and following the pattern......Chiefs next beat Broncos 30-6, but only produces 206 yards, but all of a sudden produces a pass rush sacking Flacco 9x. Of course, Mahomes after starting 10-11, got injured and Moore finished the game. The Chiefs then lost to the Packers next week without Mahomes. So we beat up the Jets this week but lack an impressive showing offensively, lose Josh, and develop a pass rush, before losing to the Pats! Hmmm! Get ready for more panic LOL. -
I'm with you. If I could pick one area that I'm more worried about it's the DEFENSE. Saying we were in the game against the SB Champs is a moral victory. Clearly, we are short on defense, coaching to take the big play is even fine. However, executing or lack there of, to the tune of allowing 250?yards rushing, not being able to put an any pressure on the QB, not being able to stop people on 3rd downs and the Red Zone (chronic issues) are huge problems. We were lucky to be in that game, yeah if we had one more lucky play on the fumble, maybe we find a way, or more likely Mahomes brings them right back to score. Generally speaking, we aren't doing anything on either side of the ball well enough the last 2 weeks. C'mon McBeane figure this out quick.

If we'd gotten the fumble, I bet we score and take the lead. However, I have no confidence that KC doesn't come right down the field and get at LEAST a FG to retake the lead. This game was a an anomaly in being we had a chance. Moss not only looked slow, but tentative hitting the hole. He's supposed to be a power guy, so far he's not that.

The first 4 games It felt like the offense was playing down hill. Last night, right from the outset, we were back on our heels. KC blitzed and got pressure and still managed to get decent coverage and had guys moving forward on screens and short stuff. That combined with a defense game plan aimed at "picking your poison" led to death from a thousand cuts.
