You're missing my point, It's not that there was something specific I wanted done. I've suspected all year long the OL isn't good enough, and this was just hoping Beane could pull a rabbit out of his hat. I could be wrong and the OL plays great and we win the SB. Or it could be that he (we) come up short again. Unlike you I'm not satisfied with just being good for 15 years.

I'll admit it I'm disappointed. I feel like we're strong enough everywhere except the Oline to win it. This seasons SB also seems like its there for the taking. Hope I'm wrong, but I have visions of a playoff loss with JA running for his life and no rushing attack. Sorry that's not what I want either. Hope Beane proves me wrong. Its his job to build a SB winner and it's not just the trade deadline today either. Our line being good enough is a mirage IMO and today felt like the last chance to improve it. So shoot me.

Tampa without a doubt. Can't run on them. Brady, OL and receivers are tough matchup for anyone. We'd need to be able to block them in pass pro and outscore them I think.

Replacement level player. As is Boettger...As is Ford.... We need another Guard badly.

The Bucs are the toughest matchup because of Brady, the receivers and that line. We'd have to outscore them and hope we win the TO battle. We can slow down the rest of them with our style.

Very good defense, and if you push me I'd say you can win a SB with them provided the right matchup.

Since we are in our window, and are paying our franchise QB, I'm in favor of trading ANY pick for the right player. Our first round pick is going to be late anyway. If I could get Quinton Nelson for a first I do it in a heartbeat. But, at least get someone who CAN play on the interior OLINE.

He's blossoming now, especially for people who know DL play and not just number of sacks etc. He's on the verge of becoming a Pro Bowl caliber player-perhaps even this year.

I think if we could bring in someone to solidify the LG spot it would be solve the problem. People have mentioned Andrew Norwell from Jax. Get r done Beane.
