Great Post! I never saw him, too young, but heard my Dad talk about him with reverance. He had 15.5 sacks as a DT in 1964, on a defense that gave up just over 900 yards rushing, and won the league championship. Kinda sounds like the Aaron Donald of his time, too bad he's not in. Too bad some can't appreciate anything sports related that hasn't happened in the last year.

And keep improving, nobody in the NFL wins the SB without improving a whole lot from now to the end.

I enjoyed the broadcast today, I thought it was fun. Not the tired stuff we hear all the time. Furthermore, he didn't act like football was splitting atoms. Kudos MM.

The problem I have is when its enforced and how inconsistently it gets called. I've seen games ruined by random calls of this type. It also can be a problem if it gets enforced all the time (no one would like that). So when do you call it? I guess in a game where a blowout is occuring and someone is acting like an a-hole. Otherwise, put the flag away.

No doubt we aren't in sync on offense, but the biggest thing is to keep improving as the season goes on. We may need a change on the Oline because I'm not convinced this group is the right one. But, the defense is far superior! Stay healthy, improve and win to maximize playoff position.
