  1. Terrace Marshall may be there and too good to pass up
  2. I've seen Melifondwu play many times at SU, and I didn't trust him as a CB in college.
  3. I don't love how this board has fallen for Bills. Was hoping for CB. Anybody think DT 1 tech is possible here or a reach?
  4. Simply put, the draft isn't just about evaluating players. You can think a guy is a top 10 player, but if the rest of the league doesn't even think he's a first rounder, you're not getting value by picking him in the top 10. Strategizing is the other part of the job, someone doesn't seem to care about that part in Vegas. You can still get your guy if you believe in him, but don't just pick him in the top 10.
  5. Doesn't specifically answer the question but plays into it, I'm thinking we may draft another DL today or tomorrow as a pure 1-tech.
  6. Nice work! How do you think Barmore would fit the Bills? Seems like we need more of a pure 1-tech guy perhaps a bit later.
  7. Heard KS on radio, and he said they moved up to get a look at everyone who might be available.....went on to say they were never really in on Jones, that 2 hours after the trade a couple people in media and ran with it and it never stopped.
  8. I had really cooled on some guys like JOK (don't see the fit), Oweh (no production worries me) etc. Didn't really have a convicted pick, perhaps Samuel (we can still get he or another CB in Rd2), maybe Elijah Moore (Beasley replacement, admittedly a luxury pick). Having said that, this pick was a solid McBeane type pick and I love the upside.
  9. Daniel Jeremiah's top 150 prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft class If the Bills board was anything like DJs the highest remaining players were Moering, JOK and #18 Greg Rousseau all in the mid teens. Looks to be a solid Bills type pick with great upside at a big need area.
  10. Good! I'd rather Jimmy G than someone with real upside like Fields or Lance.
  11. Beane and the Bills behind this and Etienne? Do they want someone to keep falling to them? I say it's possible
  12. FWIW my QB rankings 1. Lawrence (no-brainer) 2. Lance 3. Fields All in Top 5 Then much later in late Rd. 1, early 2 these guys Wilson M.Jones Davis Mills
  13. Great post! I think down the road you will be correct that Fields and also Lance imo are being incorrectly placed behind Wilson and Jones. There are still alot of NFL oldliners, who either think they are looking for the next Tom Brady; or something they think looks closely like him. FWIW the only game I ever saw Wilson play was against Coastal Carolina (loss) and if he is the second best player in this draft I'm SMDH.
  14. The analytics world in general has become as biased as the "old" scouting world. It's human nature for most, have a little success, and you've got it all figured out, the formula is...... The really smart folks, the people at a level above your normal decision maker will look at everything and know that they don't know everything.
  15. Wow thanks. I had in my head he was a mid-late first. My bad. I guess he's played like a one after all.
  16. Can't get angry about something that hasn't happened, can' be angry when McBeane clearly know more than I do and I trust them. Also, could be they've zeroed in on the next Alvin Kamara. Is anyone questioning that first round pick?
  17. I think after playing the Bills last year, Kyle and Lynch took a look at Josh, and said I want one of those too. I've said Trey since day one sticking to it.
  18. April Wine Rush Toronto Max Webster
  19. Wow I had no idea. I saw everyone of Marvin Sr. college games at Syracuse. As a football player I have nothing but admiration for him.
  20. Davonta better be anther Marvin Harrison at 166lbs
  21. A guy like Caleb Farley to start opposite Tre White at corner for the next 10 years.
  22. You guys need a new government, starting with the PM. Trudeau is a clown, he and his cronies have attempted to set the country on a zero infection rate path. The economy and the pandemic were always intertwined. Good luck trying to recover from the situation he has created, I truly feel bad for many Canadians.
