He met meeting with them on a visit or Pro Day. The Bills have no interest, he doesn't fit what they're looking for.

Or they could just take Rosen because the Bills love him second only to Darnold

I have my order of preference Rosen,Darnold, Mayfield, Allen, Jackson. And, just like anyone who's preference isn't satisfied, I will be disappointed if we don't trade up or acquire Rosen or Darnold somehow. Still Bills fan though and hope that they got it right.

I traded to #5 w/Den, giving them 12,53,65 and 121 it was accepted on the simulator. I took Josh Rosen with the #5. #22 I took Rashaan Evans from Alabama at 56 I received an trade offer from Jax of 61 and 93 I accepted and picked up another top 100 now at 61 I took Braden Smith G Auburn With 93 I trade with Pitts for Martavius Bryant (it may take more) At 96 I took McIntosh the DT from Miami. Summary: I get my franchise QB, a deep threat at WR, one of the best Interior OL guys, and an interior DL guy to add to the rotation. Rome wasn't built in a day, but this is a great start.

This is where I'm at for the most part as well. If for some reason the Browns take Allen instead at 1 and Darnold is available at 2 (not sure Giants take QB) things change.

Remember, these guys are the top prospects for a reason. All the teams have looked at them with a fine tooth comb and decided who is most likely to succeed. Are they always right? No of course not. But, when you wait and wish for the number 4 guy, then you have had multiple other teams indicate that he is not #1 for them either. So multiple processes yielding the same result. Like it or not, the higher you're drafted also indicates the NFL teams, after running their process, think #1 is better than #4 and more likely to succeed. We know from research that teams drafting QBs in the top 5 are way more successful (50%), not great, but way better than down in the draft.

He also said it's people speculating and reading tea leaves and not them trying to smokescreen at 1. Also said that to create levity and reduce stress they used to look up media mocks and laugh at who they said they're taking.

Just heard Andrew Brandt on NFL radio he said Browns know who they're taking, he doesn't know himself. He worked with these guys for 9 years in GB and says they know.
