I generally like the divisions and guarantee they will not be disappearing because division games can make game matter at the end of seasons that would not otherwise matter. It also allows teams to sell merchandise as division winners and therefore more money. Lastly I am ok with it because with 3 wild cards if you have one of the 4 best records in your conference you are in the playoffs. That means simply being top 25% in your conference you are guaranteed a playoff spot, which is more than reasonable.

Extending a search to less normal pools of candidates is good except when the normal pool of candidates is so limited because the skills needed are limited. There is a reason that the stories of people becoming NFL players without playing high school football are so rare, those with the willingness and ability to be an NFL player is limited. Being a doctor has a lot of soft skills but lots of hard skills that some can't do but we keep pretending it does not matter.

I am as confident as I have been since 1990s. Last year was too crazy and 2021 we had to go to Arrowhead. This team is built well to beat anyone and we just need consistency from Josh. Right now Josh is my biggest concern, he has not looked particularly good since October, except for Philly.

I actually think it is a bit insulting to compare Tua to Jones. Jones had one above average year and Tua has had several along with his offense being explosive quite often. This is a top 12 QB in this league but will never win games without a lot of talent around him

I live in an area where white people are less than 50% of the population and I am very happy here but the area has no other kind of diversity really. I agree we need a WR this year but I think we can most likely wait since there are so many good ones currently coming out and we are not in position to get one of main 3. I am always a BPA guy in general with an understanding that your needs are part of the BPA formula, basically if guys are similar in talent you give bonus points to the position.

Edmunds is a different style LB then what we have now. Comparing him to Bernard or even Dodson is not very effective because the requirements are different. I like Edmunds but at his cost he was not worth it and we have obviously made do with his replacement.

These kids at this level play for two reasons, to win championships and make money, they don't care about spending a month prepping for an exhibition game when they can go pro. I am an FSU fan and am still a little salty obviously. I am also a UCF fan and sick of the committee since they don't watch every game of the contenders. Bama was selected because they needed a SEC team in the final four to ensure tv ratings. If the argument was the best 4 teams then GA is absolutely in the final 4 over Texas and Bama but the committee had to pretend they care about results on field.

The FSU offense looked better than Bama today with Rademacher with 5 days to plan. Give them a month and he would have been better than that. Also all the FSU players stated flatly they would have played in the playoffs, but you can call them liars if it makes you feel better.

At this point not a prediction but how TF did Bama get into the final 4? There defense is great but their offense is mediocre and their QB is awful. FSU has a much better defense and their offense looked similar when Rademacher had only 5 days to prep. Truly pick GA if discussing best but Bama was not best or most deserving of final 4.

With the amount of money in college football I am surprised it has taken this long to split from the NCAA, especially since they have not had NCAA leadership for at least 20 years as far as championships. Football will need to fix the transfer portal and set up more basic NIL deals across teams but I think of handled well it will help the game as well as the students. The reason I am in support of the change is the NCAA for 40 years screwed the kids to benefit the schools.

Any proof that requires you to multiply or divide using 0 is not proving anything except that zero is an abstract concept. I find the "proofs" that show it by rounding is hilarious, because all it shows is math is precise and if you aren't precise you are likely to be wrong.

I went out to the Big Storm Brewery in Orlando yesterday for the first time since 2021 and the difference in cost is at least 50% more. A meal of nachos, a quesadilla, and 4 pints of beer for me and wife was $65 before tip. There is nothing large or special about the food or beer. Last time I was there it was $50 including tip for same type of order. I do understand that Orlando is now an expensive city but this increase is absurd.

I am truly hoping that there is some further context given in another part of the filing because to read these two entries Jack is stating that he can't convict Trump if Trump is allowed to show you who else did it. Imagine a murder trial where the defense was able to simply state any contradictory information is banned.
