  1. You are onto something!! You can pay Peterman’s career completion percentage + TDs + INTs. He is 25 of 52 (48%) with 2 TDs and 6 INTs. 48 + 2 + 6 = $56....seems fair to me!!
  2. That’s what jumped out to me. Ray Lewis belongs at 2 or 3. Good to see Bennett and Fletcher recognized.
  3. Yes, she was his niece. She was the only family member involved and was a part of that group that was formed. I believe that she had a piece. Littman did as well. She’s very, very sharp.
  4. Mary Owen didn’t have a stake?
  5. That was the structure of the Bon Jovi bid. The NFL just requires that one person is the voting owner. I believe that person needs to own at least 33% of the team (that number might be off).
  6. No, it’s definitely not. I’d be happy to make a friendly wager, you take Peterman, I get Allen and it’s a push if McCarron starts. You name the stakes...
  7. Didn’t know where to put this and really didn’t want to start a new thread:
  8. He was a 5-star recruit and the top (or 2nd) WR in the country. He really just went to a bad situation. Dupre’s production has never matched his ability. I don’t know if he will ever be good but I’m always taking a chance on talent. The young guys absolutely have a chance to play IMO. I’m with you, no reason to keep a bunch of JAGs; roll the dice with the kids.
  9. I was really happy when they added Malachi. He was one of the top WR recruits in the country. At LSU he played with ? QBs. The talent was always there. He’s worth developing.
  10. If I saw that guy in the gym, at the bank, or at a Denny’s, I’d be 98% sure that he was a fullback.
  11. As long as there is a segment dedicated to the Tinder conquests of @Boyst62 it might be interesting.
  12. Yeah, I think that locally a lot of the corporate market is pretty tapped. They still have their regional efforts and they can leverage the Pegula business relationships. We had a minority owner here that was very influential. The day after he bought in the team sold something like 17 suites and 100 floor seats. He basically told his business contacts “here’s what you are going to do...”
  13. We are losing like a guy a year now while allegiances are so strong to a particular guy they are willing to quit their fandom. That’s crazy to me.
  14. We will have to make sure to get it to him before the game starts. We will need AT LEAST 6 beers to get through the 1st quarter. You’ll die that way. You will get drunk if you rinse your mouth out with Scope every INT.
  15. They were bad before he got hurt. It’s not a good group. Hopefully they have a guy or 2 that surprises.
  16. Ha ha, they are definitely there in the NHL. I shouldn’t laugh at it but he takes a beating every time. They aren’t that significant but it is still a big check for him.
  17. Yeah, I don’t think anyone believes that Buffalo will have $80K PSLs. The point was that the fans can pretty easily contribute a chunk through PSLs. They won’t be (and don’t have to be everywhere) but it is an option (especially if they’ll finance them). It’s undergone a pretty major overhaul since then (especially post-Katrina). It isn’t bad inside it is just missing something IMO. I’m not sure what really. Maybe it is just kind of dark in there?
  18. Just for simple math 20,000 seats with a $5,000 average PSL is $100M. Yeah, they keep pumping money into it but I’m not a big fan either. They are going to throw more money at it again with the Super Bowl coming. The location can’t be beat which is why so many events are here. You can walk from the hotels, to restaurants, to Bourbon to the stadium without any issues. That isn’t the case in any other city (especially a party city).
  19. You are probably in the neighborhood on some of it. When I started I made $8 an hour (plus commission) and did miserable work. When I go my out it was a lot different. There are probably (at least) 30 or so front office people (not including the football side) that are in the 6 figures. It’s roughly 30% of the staff I would say. It ranges from low to mid six figures depending on the role. All of the assistants are paid that way as well. There is a large disparity though between the top and bottom.
  20. There are tons of people in the front office with 6 figure pay checks. RB’s pay check was in the 7 figures.
  21. Yeah, it sounds like we were talking about 2 different things. So your suggestion is that the home team keeps 70% and the visiting team 30% or something like that? They will always be contributing a portion of their revenue though so I’m not sure if it changes much? The Bills in this case would contribute even less because heir overall revenue would decrease. If they went to a firm number for ticket revenue (probably have to be calculated prior to the start of the year) I suppose it could have the impact you are saying. If each team was required to contribute $3M a game from gate receipts that could have the impact. That however does change the cap from being a percentage of total revenues which I still don’t think will happen.
  22. 100% he was!! He wasn’t out of touch; he was wise. He was the smartest guy in the room.
