Without being overly negative what would you expect these other owner’s to say? “We think that Kim is incompetent. She’s totally over her head and has been a disaster. No one listens to a word she says.” This is article does nothing to influence opinions on Kim’s qualifications. With that being said there is an interesting perspective that she can provide. We always think of the voice that she can bring as a woman. That goes without saying. One thing that is overlooked is that the Pegula’s are regular people. They were once season ticket holders. They eat fast food. Their kids listen to hip-hop. I’m comfortable in saying that Kim Pegula is the most “regular” person in that room. Her perspective is way more modern and empathizes with the fans. These committees are formed and try to do what they think is in the league’s best interest. The problem is that those guys are all old, out-of-touch, curmudgeons. When was the last time Bob McNair waited in line for a hot dog? Kim can relate to the consumers in a way that the rest of the NFL owners couldn’t dream of.

He was a 5-star recruit and the top (or 2nd) WR in the country. He really just went to a bad situation. Dupre’s production has never matched his ability. I don’t know if he will ever be good but I’m always taking a chance on talent. The young guys absolutely have a chance to play IMO. I’m with you, no reason to keep a bunch of JAGs; roll the dice with the kids.

I was really happy when they added Malachi. He was one of the top WR recruits in the country. At LSU he played with ? QBs. The talent was always there. He’s worth developing.

Yeah, I think that locally a lot of the corporate market is pretty tapped. They still have their regional efforts and they can leverage the Pegula business relationships. We had a minority owner here that was very influential. The day after he bought in the team sold something like 17 suites and 100 floor seats. He basically told his business contacts “here’s what you are going to do...”

We are losing like a guy a year now while allegiances are so strong to a particular guy they are willing to quit their fandom. That’s crazy to me.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone believes that Buffalo will have $80K PSLs. The point was that the fans can pretty easily contribute a chunk through PSLs. They won’t be (and don’t have to be everywhere) but it is an option (especially if they’ll finance them). It’s undergone a pretty major overhaul since then (especially post-Katrina). It isn’t bad inside it is just missing something IMO. I’m not sure what really. Maybe it is just kind of dark in there?

Just for simple math 20,000 seats with a $5,000 average PSL is $100M. Yeah, they keep pumping money into it but I’m not a big fan either. They are going to throw more money at it again with the Super Bowl coming. The location can’t be beat which is why so many events are here. You can walk from the hotels, to restaurants, to Bourbon to the stadium without any issues. That isn’t the case in any other city (especially a party city).
