  1. Yep, that’s what it sounds like. I could see the Bills trying to get Peterman or McCarron there for a 5th (or something like that). I don’t know how Seattle feels about those guys but it makes some sense.
  2. Yeah, there were people here that actually believed that McCarron was an upgrade from Tyrod. The league spoke pretty loudly on their thoughts about McCarron when he signed that tiny contract. Guys like Keenum, Bridgewater & McCown were paid way more to essentially do the same thing. There’s a decent chance that McCarron ends up getting traded to Seattle IMO.
  3. Adjusted completion percentage is the thing that teams look at when evaluating QBs. This is one of the reasons that teams were way higher on Allen than fans. What % of his throws were where they needed to be?
  4. I’ve seen “Who’s Bad” a bunch of times. They are always entertaining.
  5. That was pretty crazy!! Good to hear it didn’t fall apart.
  6. 6 feels about right to me. I have no issues with that line.
  7. FWIW, I was at a sports book in MS on Sunday and the Browns o/u was 6.5.
  8. They are talented. It’s possible that they have 10 new starters this year. The Browns also added some key reserves and slid former starters to backups. The roster is deep and talented. That’s what people see. It’s a matter of whether or not Hue can maximize it.
  9. It was worse. Leading up to the game it was so incredibly impressive. The entire city was Bills fans. Once the drinking picked up and after the frustrating loss it was bad. I’m not even a little surprised that they don’t like us.
  10. I keep saying it but this “rivalry” has literally EVERYTHING to do with the way that the Bills fans acted. We were everywhere and not behaved. There were people peeing in the streets. I saw a guy just jump through some random person’s cooler. I saw a table (half of one) thrown at a woman. That isn’t even including the fire after the game. It was the top story on the Jacksonville news the next day. There is no other reason.
  11. I hate to say it but I wouldn’t be shocked to see tragic news on Richie at some point. He lives a pretty reckless life.
  12. That is pretty funny. It must have been so frustrating to win by 8 and have to pay your friend.
  13. I believe the Browns will have more wins. I was at the sports book the other day Sunday and they are projected to have more wins than the Bills (6.5 to 6). It is by no means a crazy statement. Casinos didn’t get those big buildings by losing. The Bills have been underdogs. The one time, in my lifetime, when they weren’t thought of like that was the early 90’s. They were a juggernaut. That’s the best time in franchise history. We had HOF players, coaches, owners and executives. We need to drop the insecure underdog mentality that way too many have embraced and start acting like we belong. Let’s add star players and compete for titles. Let’s be the guy that shoves nerds in lockers. I’m just over trying to be mediocre. The playoff monkey is gone. The only thing that matters is working towards a championship. If it means 4 wins and Allen developing, so be it. The Eagles just took that route and already have a trophy to show. I’m just trying to keep this active until Burple Venmo’s me
  14. It is what it is. You don’t win titles on the back of Rudy. We certainly should NEVER want the guy with less talent to play. It lowers your ceiling as a team. It’s time to start embracing talent and stop always fighting for the underdog. It’s a new day!!
  15. That weekend was like those teen movies where those “try hard” high school kids throw a party when their parents go out-of-town. They do it to try to impress the cool kids and the prom queen. This was their big chance to fit in. The cool kids showed up, pissed on the floor, broke their grandmother’s antique vase, started a massive fire and left with the prom queen.
  16. We all told you that you were EXTREMELY naive if you didn’t think that was reality. EVERY top 10 QB ever (at least that I can think of) has been handed the job at some point. That doesn’t mean they’ve all worked out. I can’t comprehend why you would expect this to be different? “The Bills spent 2 seasons acquiring assets and trading up to get a QB. Then on draft night they used a 1st and 2 2nds to trade up for said QB. I’m pretty sure that they did that to let him compete with Peterman. May the best man win!!” NO ONE around the league will view this negatively. That isn’t just the case here but with all of the teams with big qb investments. It is just more pronounced here because in addition to the trade up, they cleared the deck. There is no such thing as a top 10 QB competing for a job. They GET the job, when ready, until it’s proven that they can’t play. That’s the way it works.
  17. Nope, it is a legit competition. Ryan has been around forever. I’m sure that if the Bills bring him in he is getting a serious look. Ryan has played like 10 seasons i think. He’s not going somewhere, the day after being released, unless he has a chance. My guess is if the Bills like what they see he will be signed to compete. If they don’t like what they see, they’ll pass.
  18. Funny story, the bar that I watched games at when I first moved to New Orleans had a handful of Jags fans. I found it totally fascinating. I became friends with them a few months later. It turns out it was Jack Del Rio’s daughter, husband (now ex) and his best friend. It’s like the only Jags fans I met don’t even count.
  19. To answer the original question it’s when we rolled into their city and acted like it was a massive game at home. We took over that city. They were excited about their team developing. We came in and dominated. The Bills fans were passionate and obnoxious. It’s not different than we usually are. We totally overwhelmed them and were pretty arrogant about how much better our fans are. We were fired up that weekend. The only thing that I can compare it to was OSU-Miami National Championship. It was 98% Buckeye Fans. The only difference is that the Buckeyes won. If the Bills won that game, Jacksonville might have burned to the ground (instead I think it was just a 2 alarm fire).
  20. So we are sure that Peterman (who DID throw 5 picks in a half) will be mentally tough enough if things go south but Allen will be wrecked? Do Peterman’s 52 career pass attempts really make him that far ahead?
