I don’t know much about him but he played some last year(in every game it said). He can’t be terrible. Washington, to me, just gets pushed around. He’s never been the guy that he could have been. Additionally, the Bills can kick Shaq inside on passing downs. He was effective at Clemson doing that.

Not a bad first pass. I’m keeping one more RB and one less TE (probably cut Thomas). There are a few other tweaks (Newhouse over Boetteger and Adolphus Washington goes IMO). I think safety is one is one of the strongest spots on the roster. You kept 5 of them and then said you wanted to improve there? If you meant CB I would agree. The depth there is scary. Good list though!! I think you are pretty close.

How many WR's are the Bills going to keep?
Kirby Jackson replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s kind of funny that you say that because I was watching that game last night and saw him out there. I forgot he was in Minnesota. I was thinking “I wonder what it would take to get him?” He can’t be more than the number 3 there? After a brutal rookie year he was a little better last year. He would be another buy low candidate. The main problem I see if the Vikings are going for it this year. They are a Super Bowl favorite. I don’t see them trading a depth receiver for a late round pick. If Theilen or Diggs goes down I’d imagine Treadwell becomes pretty important. -

I think that’s one of the issues. They have a bunch of guys that are bottom of the roster caliber receivers. IMO they need a number 1 and they’d be good. If you bumped everyone down one spot you’d be pretty good. -

AFC East....best potential QBs
Kirby Jackson replied to The Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha ha, you’ve been threatened that this is what you’ll be remembered for? That is just the way that that it works around here. We are all remembered for our worst opinions. That’s the scarlet letter we all wear. I was positive that Da’Rick Rogers was a better use of a roster spot than Hogan. While Hogan isn’t great Rogers flamed out quickly. You will be remembered as the guy that wouldn’t trade Peterman or McCarron for Dak. Wear it with pride. -
Josh Rosen vs Josh Allen: Game 1 Comparison
Kirby Jackson replied to BuffaloButt's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rosen was my guy throughout the draft process. I wasn’t happy with the selection of Allen over Rosen. It’s not that I didn’t see Allen’s talent; I feared his floor. Time will tell I guess but I sure hope that I’m wrong. So far I’ve been happy with Allen’s development. -
Khalil Mack holding out... in Buffalo
Kirby Jackson replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I knew it was awful and couldn’t think of what it was called. I saw a tweet about it the other day and it jogged my memory. Every time I’ve ever seen Mark Davis I’ve thought about that guy but couldn’t remember the name. -
AFC East....best potential QBs

Because a reasonable person can’t exclude a guy that has averaged 3,500 yards passing, 320 yards rushing, 28.5 total TDs, 8.5 INTs per year whole completing 65.2% of his career passes and going 22-10. You absolutely can’t exclude that guy to include McCarron and Peterman. This is legitimately one one of those most assinine opinions this board has ever seen!! It’s right there with trading Mario for John Skelton. BB got killed on here for that (and still does). That’s his “Stairway to Heaven” here. This could be yours. -
I’m not a Duccase fan (at all). With that being said he played alright the second half of last year. If Teller looks like he did the other night though he may push for that spot at some point. He was mauling guys. In terms of McDermott he’s struggled. He was a guy coming in that some people (myself included) thought could be the starting RT. He’s fallen to the 3rd string and had a rough night. Any way you look at it though the Bills are going to have to upgrade the OL and pass catchers next offseason. Fortunately they have 8 picks and like $80M-$100M in cap space. The defense is hopefully pretty close to set. They may want to add a pass rusher, a CB and an LB but the majority of the resources will be on offense.

He has had an atrocious camp (and game the other night). He went from a guy that had a real shot to be the swing OT to a guy that has virtually no shot to make the roster. It makes me upset too because I was hoping he’d take steps the other way and take Mills’ job. To be honest McDermott has maybe been the player that I’ve been most disappointed in through camp. Siran Neal and Austin Proehl probably deserve mentions. Vontae Davis looked like a shell of his former self as well.

Cardale starting tonight for Chargers
Kirby Jackson replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kelly is going right by Lynch. He may go by Keenum too. No one questioned Chad’s talent. If he can keep it together he has a chance to play in this league. -

Chad Kelly has looked way better than Lynch so far. He’s AWFUL. I haven’t been following their battle for the #2 spot but I wouldn’t be surprised if Chad ended up with it. -
That was pass protection?!? Also, can you post the OL snap counts from the other night? I can’t seem to find them. Pro football reference doesn’t have it posted. If you’ve learned anything about me in the last 70 pages I’m not going to take your word for it. I’d like to see the snap counts. Also McDermott and Redmond were horrible the other day. Redmond even got called out by Sal the other day. McDermott was horrible and is on the outside looking in at this point.

I don’t think that I’ve ever said that he needs to play this year. I’ve said over and over and over that he will play when they think he is ready. It may not be this year. It may be this year. He looked like Allen at Wyoming because he wasn’t playing with NFL talent (just like at Wyoming). Between the receivers and OL that he played with none of them may make the roster. How is he supposed to develop pocket presence and work on his base when it’s a fire drill as soon as the ball is snapped? That’s why he needs to play with better players and it will likely be at the expense of one of the other 2. The single most important thing to this franchise is Allen’s development. If he develops they could become the Eagles in the near future. They will have tons of assets and a stud QB on a rookie deal. That is when the window is open. We aren’t even talking about the same thing. It’s not “play him now” it’s “let’s develop this incredible talent.” It isn’t a coincidence that he was back working with the ones on Friday. McDermott and Beane have a plan to develop him. Nothing is going to alter that plan.

Ha ha, I mean I’m not here to bust your balls but let’s quickly recap. You said “people are willing to just flat out lie to prove their point correct.” When the posters claim was supported by a very credible website you then indicated you didn’t say the lying part. Ha ha ha, I’m with you though we really should move on from this overpartcipated in thread. We are at like 70 pages on a guy that may never start another NFL game. That’s insanity. I’m going to slide out of here. I gave my thoughts a few pages back as to why I don’t think that he can succeed. If he can consistently make throws like the TD to Benjamin he has a chance to be a functioning number 2. If not, he’s going to see press man every meaningful play and it won’t be pretty.
-
So long story short is there are conflicting reports. I don’t think that anyone accused you of fabricating anything. Unfortunately, you said that people were “flat out lying” when in fact they were citing the incredibly well-respected Ourlads. No one was lying. FWIW, neither of those numbers is all that relevant. They aren’t strong armed QBs. They have below average arms but their success isn’t predicated on arm strength.

AFC East....best potential QBs
Kirby Jackson replied to The Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with that. I think that they have slightly different strengths. It depends on what you want. Peterman is certainly the better athlete and throws in rythym. McCarron makes way fewer mistakes. He is the more conservative of the 2. I guess it depends on what you want out of your number 2. -
AFC East....best potential QBs
Kirby Jackson replied to The Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I mean it’s not possible that he is serious? If he is how are we supposed to respect any opinion that he has on football if he believes that? Maybe it is both but it has to be at least one of them. Imagine having a conversation with an impartial football fan and trying to convince them that Peterman and McCarron are better than Dak?!? ? If you were to do a side-by-side comparison Dak would literally have every single advantage. We should start researching CTE on TBD. -

Ha ha ha, so you believe that Nate Peterman and AJ McCarron deserve to be considered as good young QBs but Dak Prescott doesn’t?!? Are you trolling or incompetent?
