  1. To me it sounds pretty clear that you think it was right. Your words “ Well then he shouldn't have committed a crime, violated his restraining order and resisted arrest. Pretty simple.
  2. Sorry Rico but Brewers and Reds already followed the lead and boycotted tonight
  3. So, he should have shot up a church, killed 9 people and sent them on a 16 hour manhunt instead of violating a restraining order? Read that, because that’s what you are saying
  4. Well I think that their boycott brings a lot of eyes and discussion. It is on every channel now. Additionally, pressure will rise from sponsors, owners, fans, etc... They have decided to put the spotlight on the issue and force the conversations. That’s the power of it.
  5. I’m sure Blake would have preferred Burger King and a trial to 7 shots in the back and he didn’t even kill anyone.
  6. Standing up for something important is better than burying your head in the sand on everything!! Everyone is going to relate to causes closer to home than things that they don’t experience daily. The Bucks started this today. There is a well-documented story of Sterling Brown on the Bucks in a scary situation with police. We all relate to more first hand experiences. Give me the guy that stands up for A RIDICULOUS INJUSTICE all day before the people that ignore it.
  7. What was the correct punishment for DylannRoof? Burger King?
  8. That wasn’t the question!!! Was 7 shots to the back the punishment deserved for the exact situation that you described?!? It’s a yes or no question...
  9. So is 7 shots to the back the punishment deserved for the exact situation that you describe?
  10. The NBA leads again. They’ve taken the hard road to demand change. They’ve used their enormous platform to fix OBVIOUS problems in this country. If you think that sitting silently while an unarmed man is shot in the back 7 times is the best option you and I aren’t going to agree on much. This is a peaceful stand against injustice by some of the most powerful people in this country. That’s how change happens.
  11. All 3 games are off today. This is MASSIVE. The Raptors are talking about leaving the bubble. We are at a turning point for this country. Strong words from someone I respect:
  12. I can’t believe that I am 7 hours late to this!! I need to immediately get on my burner and start tweeting at him!!
  13. You missed my post above. It is a bet on one of the top 2 going out. I am getting $125 for every dollar spent. I can tell that everyone questioning this doesn’t bet sports. Moss is certainly more likely. The same holds true for Edwards-Helaire. It is about the value though. Davis generates a giant return compared to his likelihood. If things break his way he CAN win and I will turn my $20 into $2500. That’s the point. Even if you think there’s a 4% chance it’s a decent bet.
  14. The point of it isn’t that it’s likely. It’s that I’m getting $125 for every $1 I spend. If Brown or Diggs goes down he will have every opportunity to flourish. He could be a 1,000 yard receiver on a good team.
  15. I just took him at 125:1 to be OROY. I only made a $20 bet but it feels like that is money well spent. If one of the top 2 is out for any period of time it isn’t impossible to think he could have an AJ Brown like impact.
  16. Get your wallets ready!! We are going to buy up all of the fans this year!!
  17. That works too. The only reason that I threw Duke out there is because Jeffrey is constantly hurt. There are some options there though toward the back of the Bills WR depth chart. They have some NFL players that won’t make the team. The same with the OL and DL.
  18. I was pretty high on him too. Supposedly he’s on the bubble. Philly forever needs wide receivers despite always adding them. Maybe something like Duke for Jones? Just thinking out loud
  19. I think that’s where the trade will come in. The Bills will flip a depth OL, DL, or WR for a depth corner with some experience. Maybe someone like Daryl Worley in Dallas? He was drafted by Carolina and Dallas just added 2 CBs in the draft. Sidney Jones is another name that may make some sense.
  20. I don’t know. If he is still the same player that he was a year ago they’re in a tough spot (specially with a top 5 pick). They probably have an opportunity to add anyone not named Lawrence. If they pick 1 they can get him. Do you pass on Fields or Lance for year 4 of an inconsistent Darnold? I don’t think that the Jets would do that.
  21. Yeah, I’m not surprised. The prudent thing to do is to make decisions along the way. This feels like a pretty reasonable approach. Look at it again in a month and see where things stand. You can adjust from there.
  22. @Sherlock Holmes has entered the chat...
  23. When it comes to these threads I always like to go back to what I said at the time in case I need to delete it to hide from my terrible take ??. Fortunately, I’m cool with what I said ?. Also, kudos to @MAJBobby for his insight as an UCf STH. I found that to be interesting and accurate (at least based on camp reports).
