I’ve been consistent in my thoughts on McDermott. It was Super Bowl or someone else needs to be leading this team.
-
They interviewed Kris Richard too. The Rooney Rule has been satisfied without Frazier. Honestly, he would have a shot at a job if he were younger for the reasons that you mentioned.
-
I’m guessing that it was just one of those situations where neither wanted to be in the relationship any longer. They wanted to see other people.
-
Thank you for the clarification. 🍻
-
That is my thinking but hadn’t heard it anywhere. That would be found money. He’s not a Rooney Rule in Vegas. Pierce would accomplish that. Some people just don’t get it.
-
I thought so
-
Just to be clear, I’m not asking opinions on if he will get a job. I’m wondering if the Bills will receive the two second round picks? At least I think that’s the compensation.
-
He has multiple interviews (Chargers and Raiders that are confirmed)and there are a bunch of jobs available. It’s not crazy, at all.
-
Please forgive my ignorance but I’m seeing interviews for Fraizer. If he gets one of these jobs will the Bills get the comp picks associated with it? I don’t know how it works with his leave of absence. Anyone know what this will look like if he gets a job?

Game Postponed! - To be played Monday at 4:30pm
Kirby Jackson replied to phypon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Listening to the Miami fans whining on Twitter is something. They really don’t understand the difference between “it is cold” and “there is a travel ban?” The Bills game isn’t postponed because of the temperature. It’ll be colder Monday. It is postponed to keep emergency response clear. -
So how are we feeling about Coach McDermott?

Lol, we could play something like Mason Rudolph and Joe Flacco. Sign me up -

I do!! I hope that he proves me wrong. The Super Bowl is there to be had. -

I’m staying consistent. He gets this team to the Super Bowl or he gets replaced. I’d listen to the AFC Championship game (maybe). The window is open and with Josh Allen you need to go further than before. Hoping that he makes it happen… -
Need a capable backup quarterback next season.

Keenum won enough to keep them in the mix. He isn’t great either but if his team wins this week they are in. I’m not a Rudolph fan but can’t deny that he has played pretty well. Kyle Allen is a bottom 5-10 backup imo. I am open to a ton of options and maybe even 2. If you signed someone like Brissett and drafted a guy like Pratt for the PS I’d be good with that (assuming he’d get to the PS which is likely). If Josh is out for a while it is a problem either way. I just hope it isn’t a “season over” type of trouble. -

The need for a capable backup is 100% correct. If you disagree with this, you’re wrong. This isn’t an “opinion” topic. We saw the value of a quality backup this year. Guys like Minshew, Browning, Rudolph, Keenum and especially Flacco have their teams (or had in Browning’s case) in the middle of the playoff push. You can’t just throw the season away if your QB misses a few weeks. Kyle Allen is not that guy. He just isn’t good enough. I’d be fine taking a guy in the 4th or later to be the long term answer. Maybe that is someone like Rattler, Ward, Travis, Pratt or Hartman. Those are just a few names that could make sense if the value is there. In terms of NFL guys, Brissett is a guy that I like. McCorkle or Zappe would be okay. Zach Wilson anyone? He isn’t my favorite option but has some upside. Tyrod, Huntley, Jameis and Rudolph are all free agents that have had some success. Stick might be as well. Josh Dobbs and Tannehill are the last couple of obvious answers to me. Anyways, I’d hate going into 2024 with the little margin of error that we have now. Admittedly, I don’t think Kyle Allen is any good. We saw this year what can happen when you give away a few games. We have the 3rd best odds to win the Super Bowl but haven’t even clinched a playoff spot yet. Let’s not give away games moving forward and this protects you if Josh were to miss a month(ish). I mean, he does have 19 regular season starts. Kyle Allen isn’t a complete unknown at all. He just isn’t very good. -
If anyone is looking for a pair of club seats, pm me. I’ll be sitting with my brother and need to sell mine in the same section. They’re heated and undercover.

Hey everyone, I am going to sit with my brother tomorrow and have my seats available. They are heated, undercover and at about the goal line. They are really nice. $650 for the pair

Bumping this up to see how we did

Allen would get my vote. No one means more to his team than JA. 1. Allen 2. CMC 3. Tyreek 4. Lamar 5. Dak

Kickers are 26/27 in FGs against us this year

Appreciate you posting this. I thought about it last night. That’s the sign of a bad luck year. The only other miss had 12 guys on the field. -
Josh was not good last night. This isn’t the game where we march to Twitter (still calling it that) and demand his MVP case be taken seriously. Cook, Diggs, McDermott and Brady also struggled. The Bills still found a way to win a must-win game. They’ll be better next week and enter week 18 with a chance to be in the playoffs (likely to win the division). On the flip side, shoutouts to Gabe Davis and Ed Oliver on getting the job done tonight. Ed Oliver is a star.
