  1. That’s fair. Health was necessary to achieve that level. Nonetheless, there have been spurts of dominance. I’d like to see a 60 minute beat down. Create turnovers and pressure on defense. Execute in the red zone. Protect the football. Convert 3rd downs. Do not make any special teams mistakes. This might be the day. Last year at about this time the lightbulb went off. The Bills were the best team in football from this point forward. I’m hoping that happens again. They need to find a rythym and get healthy. If that happens, they’re incredibly dangerous.
  2. He’s their best player IMO (along with Judon). This is a big loss for them.
  3. I guess that we just have a different level of expectation for this team then. I honestly believe that they should have challenged the ‘07 Pats for largest point differential in a season. I felt like +315 was realistic. My expectation was something like 15-2 with an average margins of victory of 3 scores a game. The Bills are clearly one of the best teams in football. Coming into this year I believed that that had a chance to be one of the great teams ever. They aren’t that at this point. The level of satisfaction, to this point, depends on your expectations. They haven’t consistently played to the level that I think they’re capable of.
  4. IMO, the Bills haven’t played to their level this year. They have had good 1/2’s (Titans, Rams, Steelers) but have yet to put together 4 solid quarters. Just a feeling, but today is the day. I think, coming out of today, we will be reminded why the Bills are STILL the Super Bowl Favorite (at least on DraftKings at +400).
  5. They expect AT LEAST one 1st. The Saints traded their 2023 1st already so they are hoping to recover it with Payton returning to the sidelines. If you’re right though and he’s going to wait on the perfect opportunity it might not be this year. Lol, I obviously meant the Browns 🤦🏻‍♂️.
  6. Again, I’m not trying to be dismissive, but you’re incorrect on the reasoning. I spent 2007-2021 on New Orleans. You see, hear and talk Saints all day. I know this better than just about anyone here. Googling records, without context, is useless. BB lost at the Jets. He then went to 9 Super Bowls (or whatever). Payton is AN ELITE HC and can pick whichever job he wants next year. The Bills would be appealing to him (not saying that the job will be open). If the Bills squander another year though they need to be thinking about it. I doubt that they will but Sean Payton is the answer to our offensive woes and swagger that has disappeared. I said that before the season and am sticking with that now. I suspect that he takes over the Dallas job (where his family lives) but will have plenty of opportunties. If you think that he might be an oc somewhere you’re WAY less informed than I ever gave you credit for.
  7. Again, as someone that followed it closely, Sean Payton was worth 2 wins (minimum) per year. He won a Super Bowl as well (with an onside kick to start the 2nd half). Sean Payton is the greatest offensive coach in the world. He, ABSOLUTELY, elevated that team. I’m not trying to be dismissive but I know the Saints way better than 99.999% of this board.
  8. They weren’t very good. I lived in New Orleans for his entire run. I know that team, the organization, and situation well. Payton is a SPECTACULAR football coach. He’s an offensive genius with an arrogance to match. He’s a d-bag as a guy (although players liked him). He is too arrogant. He definitely wants to coach again.
  9. Sean Payton is the best offensive mind in the world. Yes, he’s an arrogant cokehead. He’s is ABSOLUTELY the answer to getting you over the top. 1000%
  10. I think that you should stay. If the Bills don’t win the Super Bowl, they should hire Sean Payton. I said that before the year and believe it more than ever. The window is open and they aren’t playing well. They lose a zillion close games, make mistakes and generally don’t look prepared. This isn’t a “prisoner of the moment” thing either. I’m on record, before this season, with my desire for Payton if they don’t win. Doug Collins is the PERFECT comparison!! Well done
  11. They certainly have way too many games where they do that (Atlanta, Jets, Jags, etc). Hoping that this game lights the fire
  12. Out-coached and lost in all 3 phases There aren’t many positives to take away from this game. Von is a stud. Edmunds is playing well. Diggs is a stud too. We knew all of that though. The Bills need to stop sleepwalking through games. We haven’t had a week yet where they played a good game (win or lose). They have played good quarters but this team is nowhere near its ceiling. That’s frustrating.
  13. If you could add just one college player to the Bills, who would you pick? There are cases to be made for LOTS of players but I think I’m going Brock Bowers. He’d be such an interesting “chess piece.”
  14. @Jimmy Spagnola and @Howard is the best part of Jets week
  15. I don’t think that expectations are too high. This is the best team in franchise history. This is the best team in the league. They’re capable of a lot more than we’ve seen so far. We have seen it in spurts but they haven’t played anywhere close to their potential. This team COULD be one of the best teams ever. They are capable of that. Sleepwalking through parts of games won’t work forever. They’re so good that they can still win games when they aren’t playing their best. They just open up the door to lose some others if they play like the 2nd half. We should be happy with 6-1. They should hold themselves to the standard that they are capable of.
  16. If you couldn’t find pictures of the Bills in Halloween costumes you must not have the internet. That’s the only explanation. The pictures were EVERYWHERE. It required virtually no effort to see all of them. I appreciate you telling me how TBD works though. Apparently I have a lot to learn.
  17. It’s not my job to screenshot IG stories and add them to TBD. That’s weird and creepy. Just do what the rest of us do and follow this guys on there.
  18. They really are!! They are so close (and likable). That’s one of the things about this group that is underrated. The team is loaded with great guys.
  19. IG is your answer. Mostly the players posted them on their IG stories though so they are gone. There were TONS on there Tuesday.
  20. I don’t think that anyone but the Bills, and to a lesser extent, Rams, are options for OBJ. He doesn’t want a long-term commitment IMO. He wants to finish the year well, while playing important games. He wants to prove he’s healthy, and win another ring in the process. In the off-season he will try to chase a big deal. He and Von are best friends. There was an article on it not too long ago. I’d bet, that a deal has already been “agreed to” contingent on him hitting certain metrics with his recovery. He will join the Bills in the next few weeks and be ready for the home stretch and playoffs. If he’s healthy, that’s his best option. He knows that.
  21. CMC is more of the “need” position. Cook is developing and Moss stinks. Motor is a good football player. With that being said, I voted OBJ. I know that he can play in big games. He can play any WR position. He makes the Bills even more dangerous and is playing for a contract.
  22. I watch all of these. I don’t love all of these. This was fantastic. It showed how close this Bills team is. It showed how good they are. It spoke to their confidence and foxhole mentality. This is the greatest Buffalo Bills team of all-time. They are. We are fortunate to be on this ride.
  23. That’s fair and should have clarified that these weren’t even necessarily legal 😂😂. It really shows just how incredible those 2 are.
  24. Of course I would never trade Allen. The Chiefs fans feel the exact same about Mahomes. For the purpose of this thread though, it’s much more interesting to discuss “what a package may look like for either?” There is no reason to have a thread saying “I wouldn’t trade Allen or Mahomes.” Of course no one would but let’s discuss the hypothetical. In my opinion, the package would probably be something like: a young Pro Bowl player, a young mid-tier starter and 4-5 1sts. HYPOTHETICALLY, something like: Isaiah Simmons, Kyler Murray and 4 1sts. Alternatively you could go: Mooney, Fields and 5 1sts (one will obviously be super early). What about Chase, Burrow, 2-3 1sts? You could do Parsons, Dak and 2 1sts? Lastly, you could do something like Bosa, Herbert and 2-3 1sts.
