  1. Jamies Winston, my starter, has a bad matchup this week (hopefully) against the Bills, even if he does end up playing. I am going with either Rivers (vs Denver), or Goff (vs Arizona). Which would you go with?
  2. Oh man...Gurley and Hunt? Your safe at RB! Both those guys look phenomenal so far! You have a real good team. I have Jamies Winston too...I have been really high on the Bucs...but even if they don't live up to the hype, Winston is going to put up his numbers. Just too many weapons on that team! I had the 3rd pick in our draft, so I was kind of painted in to a corner and "had" to take Antonio Brown...but I actually really had my heart set on getting Mike Evans a few picks later...didn't happen. I'm happy with Brown (though a bad week this past week), but I think Evans might be the true "best" receiver in the NFL right now. Benjamin isn't too shabby either, especially with Olson out for the Panthers..love your team!
  3. I'm at 4-0, but my RB's have been mostly a mess. I too had Carson (picked him up week 2) and felt smart for doing so...but now he is gone. The only silver lining for me, maybe, is that Doug Martin returns this week. My other running backs are Mixon, Rob Kelley, Jonathan Stewart and CJ Anderson. Anderson is the only one who has been fairly reliable, but he is on the bye this week. If you had to pick 2 to start this week, from this bunch, who would you pick: Doug Martin (vs New England) Jonathan Stewart (@Detroit) Joe Mixon (vs Buffalo) I don't really like any of these matchups, though I am leaning toward Martin and Stewart...what do you think?
  4. After the Sammy trade, he was "better" because he had better numbers, and wasn't "injury prone"!
  5. Yes, what is more patriotic than shutting up and looking the other way?
  6. Yes...it's a complex issue. Personally, I would think if people really understood what the flag represents "and all that", they would be fully behind the protest. But, they don't seem to be able to acknowledge, or process into the equation, the reason these people are protesting. And, good on the N VA bar owner cancelling the Sunday Ticket. He is free to do so...but there are many from military families (both active and retired) who feel the opposite. In fact, I think I heard over the last few days, close to 200 NFL players have family members who are currently in the military, and I am sure many more had/have family members who served at one time. Of course, many of those may very well choose to stand for the anthem...and that is great...but to consistently interpret what the protestors are doing as an assault on America, and disrespectful...why can't they ever pause to consider what the protesters are protesting? The right held up Kim Davis as some sort of folk hero for protesting at her job, because she didn't agree with gay marriage laws...all kinds of hypocrisy and double standards being thrown around... "on both sides, on both sides" as our president would say. Nobody is forcing anyone to kneel, and nobody is forcing anyone to stand...
  7. Who would you start as your FLEX: DeSean Jackson (Tampa WR- vs NY Giants) Chris Carson (Seattle RB- vs IND) Joe Mixon (Cincinnati RB- @Cleveland) Jonathan Stewart (Carolina RB- @NE) Thanks!
  8. I saw somebody on a BN story comment section saying that she, and her husband, were going to buy LeSean McCoy jerseys, to burn...
  9. I think they will only refund you on the Ticket, if you can prove you regularly stand up for the anthem at home....
  10. If all the dime-store patriots who claimed they wouldn't follow the Bills anymore, after this past weekend follow through, it will only get better!
  11. You and OC...where is Dave In Elma to complete the holy trinity?
  12. Eh...speaking of demented bigots..
  13. Love Jim Kelly, and this isn't going to change that...but Hughes is "spot on" as they say. Personally, I love the obligatory shot of the old-timers on the side-line (I'm an old-timer), but if it disrupts current team chemistry, I wish they stay out of it. Jim had his time, its a young mans game, and its' a young mans' world...let them speak.
  14. The wheels on the bus go round and round...
  15. There are a lot who feel that way. It isn't really just a black vs. white issue... it's a right vs wrong issue. I wish the Trump supporters would spend as much time trying to figure out the psychology and true motives of their hero, the president of the United States, as they would an 20-something NFL football player.
  16. What I loved about Whites' game yesterday, he kinda got abused in the first half...in previous incarnations of this team, if that happened the toasted player would seem to be lost for the game, if not the season, making the same mistakes, over and over...White didn't hang his head, and had a great second half.
  17. My point was, the thread title seems to imply that McCoy personally dis-respected Jim Kelly. He didn't. Jim Kelly, I guess, was offended by McCoys' protest style. LeSean McCoy wasn't protesting Jim Kelly...if that means McCoy disrespected Jim Kelly, somebody's reading comprehension is way off. Is it mine? What am I missing?
  18. Sorry if this has been stated in this thread already, but nowhere in the article does Kelly say, or is it indicated, that Shady disrespected him (Kelly) personally, as your thread title indicates. Kelly thought he (Shady) was being disrespectful of the flag, and the attached ceremony....there is a big difference there...
  19. I've been here since 2002, and I'm still here...you've been a demented bigot the whole time....nice try though. I "ran" away from PPP because I realized, there are a lot of demented bigots, like you, that thrive there....and after all these years, you still have this childish style: "I destroy leftist parrots...". You don't destroy them, they just step away, because they realize you are pretty deranged, and there is really no point in extending a conversation with you...and I do have some self-loathing for stepping into it once again...
  20. Or, perhaps you could just ignore them? Just a thought. What is worse, another thread on a topic that makes you uncomfortable? Or another thread tainted by you babbling your un-informed opinions and general ignorance?
