    Being inactive and cutting him are two different things. If they do cut him, Philly is going to struggle to be competitive for the next two years because of the MASSIVE dead cap hit. Then again, with the NFC East being a mess, they may be division champs a year from now

    When you read about how much fired coaches are being paid after the fact, it’s just confirmation how much of a money maker college football is at the top programs. $24 mil in payouts...not a problem.

    I wonder if Fields is a drama major? Maybe he is a tough SOB, or maybe a bit of an actor. I don’t know how someone can grimace in pain as much as he is, and then come back out and throw strikes, and even take another big lick.

    That same head down tackle occurs over and over again dozens of times every game. He should not have been ejected.

    I realize he is a big part of the offense, but Beane and McD should be more forthcoming because fan expectations might change? Sorry, I have no problem if they are being hush hush about it.

    Unless you are betting on the game, what difference does it make how much the beat reporters probe in regards to the injury?

    Ive always thought that his handing the football to a kid in the stands after a TD, was all about HIM(on camera), and nothing to do with being nice to a kid.

    Cam is out of the NFL after this weekend. He is done as a starter, and IMO he would not be a good backup/mentor to a young QB.

    Not to nitpick, but rookie camp is a minicamp. 😉

    Getting rid of minicamps and OTA’s would really hurt the chances of drafted rookies, UDFA’s, and even NFL F/A signing with a new team.

    Is is now taboo to say something bad about McD or Daboll, so instead ***** all over the backup QB? The coaches f***ed up by putting Beasley out there when the outcome of the game was long decided.

    For those blaming Barkley, ask yourself two questions, who decided to put Beasley out on the field with the game in hand, and who called the pass play that led to him being injured?

    Not sure if it was McD's or Daboll's call to send him out there, but for all you "process" lovers, the process failed them. I just hope he is ready in two weeks for the start of the playoffs.

    So it’s okay for an 8-8 team to be in the playoffs, but not a 7-9 team? Leave it alone.

    That could have been done in week 17.

    The Beasley injury should have never happened. The game was over, why was he on the field? IMO...Playing your starters while fighting for the #2 seed in week 17 is a whole different story.
