Joe Brady and Aaron Kromer had a rough night

Edwards in particular in pass pro seemed to be getting walked back far too often into Allen’s lap. It made it extra challenging for out tackles. Not a good outing for the big fellas up front in pass pro imo -
As good as our OL was all season, I felt this might have been their worst game in pass pro. Edwards was constantly walked back into Allen and it made it look like the OTs lost their reps. No where to step up and now those DEs running the wheel are right on Allen. Rough outing for the guys up front in terms of protection.

Eagles come out and murder the clock here on this next drive out of the half and go up 3 scores. Ball game. -

I agree with you and disagree with you. Those minor trade ups are because they’ve identified “their guy” and rather get the who correct than worry about the where. That said, you are also wise stating that it is never a bad thing to wait and let the board fall to you. But you can’t really have both unless you luck out. He did it the right way in R1 this year but it isn’t always possible. One quality about Beane I like is that he swings. I rather take these minor risks than sit pat and be stuck picking a player you don’t love. Now we have our QB, I agree with the no trade ups in RD1 but don’t mind moving minor pieces to see them acquire guys it’s clear they’ve identified as being right for them -
Where are you watching the game today?

Clarence Center, NY 1st half in the basement wrangling the kids blitzing bedtime at half time (worked perfect last week) 2nd half living room, I’d say on the couch but I’ll be standing the whole time. After the game, I’ll be up until midnight reading TBD reactions -
Random talking head says something about the Bills

I’ve prepared myself for the following: Ball at the Bills 46 yard line. 3rd and 8 pass falls incomplete. Flag extended drive on a RTP call that inevitably reults in 6. You know it’s coming. Try not to break your TVs. -
The shelves have been raided. All the coaching staff had to be replaced. I didn’t mean him emotionally

I am glad this is the case, as the success we’ve seen is encouraging and consistency will hopefully only make this success continue. That said, if he had left, I wouldn’t have broken up about it. I think the best thing he’s done here is found a competent and reliable ground game. The passing offense still seems a bit predicable and basic. Yes, he is limited by talent at the boundary but has plenty to work with otherwise. At the end of the day, we’ll have Josh Allen under center. That means we’ll be just fine.

When you get to the top, it’s hard to start there in the NFL. I gotta imagine Dan Campbell is probably feeling a bit emptied by this. Disappointing divisional loss and it’s back to the drawing board for a lot of the schematics and play callers. I am picking them to have a tough year in 25

This. Paired with scheme and limited playing time, it was always and continues to be a head scratcher. It is what makes me weary of drafting another WR early in 2025, as we already know Coleman, Shakir, Samuel, Knox and Kincaid are all under contract. Any more cooks in that kitchen are likely to see Amari cooper level snaps at 25-35% of share. (plus I am guessing we will bring Hollins back in 2025). If Kincaid were a 3rd or 4th round investment, this wouldn’t even be a debate. However the fact that we already had a highly paid player and invested a high asset into another one was capping the impact of those players from the start. -
