  1. I think this idea is not suited for our personnel. Bringing in 5 down lineman will help against the run but significantly impact our abilities in coverage
  2. Cooking shows that are tutorials on a recipe with pre-measured fresh ingredients, no dishes, prepped and ready with instant results that taste delicious!
  3. Longest week ever. What time is practice? Maybe I’ll go find my cleats see if they need any scout team help as a tackling dummy.
  4. If they don’t have the room, what’s the point? We can simply activate him from PS as needed. He gets paid in full. We keep a roster spot open. As you said, unless you have an available roster spot, it’s win win.
  5. This 💯 Seems like our latest efforts to try and limit this has been that bubble screen and quick access throw. A lot of it will rely on the skill players to be able to recognize these pressures and adjust accordingly. My game plan would be to go no huddle. I think limiting our own substitutions and keeping them on the field, getting in formation at the LOS early will force them to show their hand and make communication difficult for their defense. Hopefully it’ll limit some of their ability to try and bring exotic and confusing looks. I wouldn’t want a hurry up, but I would want to be purposeful in using the entirety of the play clock to try and find our best match up while dictating their ability to substitute and get in ideal looks.
  6. This is generally a look you’d use to stop the run and keep you Lbs clean. I don’t see how? We don’t really do this. We’re more likely to get that double A dog look with both backers. Putting the 6 on the LOS generally allows for simulated looks or pressures. A 5 man front is not ideal vs this team IMO. We really are going to want to try and stop the run with our front 6 (traditional 4-2). Putting any more resources into that with alignment really hurts our ability to play zone.
  7. Feel bad for Martin too. He has really been hitting them well lately too.
  8. My assumption that this “signing” was to the practice squad in replacement of Fournette. He’ll be one of the elevations this week, likely along with Klein.
  9. Didn’t specify in the notification via espn but I’m guessing it’s practice squad in replacement of Fournette
  10. I love playing arm chair GM as much as the next guy. Training camp speculation, the draft, free agency, even week to week estimating who will be active or who might be actived on IR…but: People honestly questioning why Murray > Fournette and second guessing McDermott and Beane’s fathomed allegiance to Murray as some egregious disregard for the uber talented Fournette is a fabricated fan-fiction. Sometimes we read too far into the tea leaves.
  11. Yes that’s why teams don’t do it. He is one of the least pressured QBs in the league. I see no reason to. We’ve been holding our own vs them. What’s the reason to mix it up? Injury?
  12. Not something they’ve done historically. We’ll see if it changes with the injuries. I don’t expect it to.
  13. No they still need to bring in someone with elite strength/speed/quickness who can win at LOS. Shakir is shifty and reliable, and poised to be a contributor with great upside in terms of YAC. I don’t believe he stretches the defense vertically enough or is the precision route runner you want to be relying on from the outside. That being said, I’d love to see those bubble screens Diggs gets to to #10. Maybe we need less Edwards and 6 OL, fewer Knox/Gilliam snaps and more Shakir. For a 5th rounder, he’s found his groove in this offense.
  14. Clean. No Jersey tug. No body turn or restriction. A legal play that 95% of non biased fans would agree with. Right? It’s not exactly like this was a game changer. People are funneling their frustrations at the refs, and for once, they don’t deserve it here.
  15. Guy is a d bag. It wasn’t all that long ago he was smack talking to fans after beating the chiefs in KC for the superbowl rematch. Clearly he blew his load and has ever sense been a limp dick hot loser. Glad we have McDermott
  16. If you’re looking to argue that he isn’t worth a future contract, you’ll find no disagreement here. If you think they need to upgrade WR2, I’m on board as well. I just wouldn’t crown the offense as being better because of the results from one game.
  17. We’re going to have to take your car. My Prius is packed.
  18. Maybe we can get a kicker from the kicker store, package that with the stadium snow removal crew we get from the stadium snow removal store, bundle them with mahomes and maauto and get a discount, I’ll double check. Im sorry.
  19. Okay ppl pump the breaks. They had a good game on offense. A single game. With 200 passing yards. Let’s not chase away a player who has been a large part of our success over the years. A fair question to ask and to discuss but to flat out claim we are better is hasty.
  20. Josh Allen, supreme ruler. Shakir Cook Kincaid Ty Johnson Even Harty and Knox sprinkled in. Defensively they found a way to patch work over the injuries and still held them to 17. And yes, half the game I felt like we were losing by 10 😂 Great game. Offense is picking up, Allen is dealing and taking over when he needs to. Hope Brady will open up the playbook a bit on first down especially in the second half. Couldn’t ask for a better game and match up AT HOME next week. Injuries are a bummer and definitely will play a role, but they can’t be the focal point. At the end of the day, they’re moving on (despite the FG team trying to keep the Steelers in the game) and we get to play a home divisional round vs our arch nemesis for a chance at the conference championship. 6-6 to this. McDermott deserves a ton of credit.
  21. Do not get hung up on the inactives. Our injuries are uncontrollable. They lost their Superman. We still need to win.
