  1. Coaches need to be more aware of play calling and relaying situations. Clock was stopped before the snap. Herbert and Harbaugh should have also relayed the message. I don’t put it all on Hampton
  2. And here it goes: Boneheaded clock management Give up ridiculous deep bad TWO false starts A dump off and the clock keeps running but we scramble on in 10 seconds for a 59 yard kick. Just stupid lol
  3. How are you so unaware? The “he’s a rookie” excuse doesn’t cut it. That’s on the coaches as much as the player
  4. Bud Dupree with the pressure but got too far upfield. Good thing they had the spy to clean it up.
  5. They gotta sit on these quick routes man. They cannot hit a ball down field all day. Worthy is out, just take away those slants and bangs and challenge them.
  6. Chargers OL is handling the chiefs DL pretty well, leading to plenty of opportunity and Herbert is capitalizing. Don’t think I heard Chris Jones name once. Good on them.
  7. To be fair, they’ve held them to a FG after a sack.
  8. 50+ yarders are just expected to be good now. Wild.
  9. Collinsworth just inventing statistics about fumbling
  10. Yes he just got blocked by smith on that swing pass to Shipley
  11. I’m going Steelers over Jests
  12. Cool work here. Thanks for sharing! Would Shavers not be considered?
  13. SVGP and the Grable move was a bit surprising
  14. The timeline matters here, as well. If you go back to March when O Gun was signed, we then had only Oliver Jones and Carter on the roster. Beane has since stated that once they learned about the suspension, the FA DT market had essentially dried up for what they were looking for. This lead them to the renegotiation of the deal. There was also no way to forecast that they’ve be drafting two defensive tackles a month later. So although Larry might have been in the initial re-tooling plans, I think the suspension moved him to more of an insurance role. Now that we’ve restocked in the draft with what appears to be reliable youth, they can shelf O gun for weeks and have him available as a “pull here in case of emergency” whether that be injuries or performance. The 3.5 guarenteed is a sunken cost, and I think Beane may have seen it as a bit of insurance heading into the draft and offseason to make sure they aren’t bone dry come January relying on the likes of Eli Ankou and Zion Logue when it matters most.
  15. I will sub Lundt in for Green and I’m with you. Kendrick signed a pretty minimal deal as a FA, and I do not believe he will be subject to waivers (4+ year vet). I think they’ll keep the youngin’ who might not clear waivers and try and bring Green back to the PS
  16. Lamar Jackson released?!?!???? Not that one. The CB from the Falcons.
  17. Spotrac has it on his yearly breakdown. If you scroll all the way to the right, it shows that his dead cap would be 3.5 from his signing bonus which was guaranteed. The other 2 mil of guarentees, which ads up the the 5.5 you keep referencing, was voided from PED suspension. Reading the contract notes below the yearly breakdown explains this. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/21807/larry-ogunjobi Over the cap has this shown in a different way. If you look at the yearly breakdown chart, and switch the dead and cap savings to post June 1, it shows that it’s 3.5 in dead and 3mil in cap savings. Maybe someone else like @BarleyNY can chime in on the contract deets.
  18. You keep referencing these numbers, but again I do not think this is accurate. They removed a 2 million dollar salary guaranteed voided due to the PEDs. He’s 3.5 in guarentees. If they cut him before he gets a game check, that’s all she wrote.
  19. My guess is practice squad. I just don’t see how they’d fit him on the roster even if Carter is moved. It doesn’t make sense positionally either
  20. I wonder what the worst way to be released would be? I’m sure there are some good stories out there
