Allen is awesome. That said, the last drive was brutal. I wouldn’t be surprised if something was bugging him.

I like Coleman. I think he will be a good football player for us. I do not think a minor absences as SPECULATED would alter the course of this teams ultimate trajectory. He’s made some plays. He’s also given up some. A little mid season rest and rehab might not be the worst thing

As some have alluded to here, we are at the point where it is more important who we play than if we play. The bye would be ideal. The chiefs have put themselves in a great spot and it is theirs to lose. I am more interested to read the potential opponents than where the game is played. Stay healthy and Josh Allen always has a chance. -
I thought a cool statistic through 8 weeks is that the Bills (Allen) lead the NFL in big time throws. Obviously this is mostly a passer statistic, I think it reflects the changing landscape of the passing offense. Allen has always done well in this metric, it is impressive that he’s maintained this ability while limiting turnovers. I think it speaks to the shifting focus on efficiency we’ve seen. Other items to note: Through week 8 2023 vs. 2024 Passing stats: Passing Yards: 23’ - 2108 24’ - 1766 Passing Touchdowns: 23’- 17 24’ - 14 Interceptions: 23’ - 8 24’ - 1 All in all, I don’t think you can say the WR room is better and to credit with this…but I think you can claim they managed to find a way to make it work.

@Alphadawg7 What kind of contract do you foresee for Shakir? Would you anticipate something this offseason? Personally I’d like to let him play out his rookie deal and see what happens with Coleman and the next rookie we take next off season…. That said, he’ll be way more expensive if production continues. I’m not sure where his value would lie across the league, and more importantly, to Beane.

Terrible game. Lots of mistakes, bad offensive line play in pass pro, injuries galore….my god what a perfectly spooky performance for All Hallows Eve -

Richardson Benched Flacco to Start
EmotionallyUnstable replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
This really doesn’t move the needle. Colts offense is not a rushing Juggernaut as some have made it out to be. Nor do their skill position players possess any trait that the bills have not seen or have been able to handle so far. The substitution of Flacco also comes with the deletion of a mobile QB. Richardson has also had some big plays with his arm. I don’t think there will be any major upgrade as some have suggested. One large difference that I see though is how McD will likely prepare and game plan. Whereas I would have anticipated a heavy blitz game by his standards, I am imagining a much more coverage heavy game plan. Maybe I’ll eat these words, but the Colts QB change takes from their offense as much as it provides for it. -
Week 9 - Dolphins at Bills Game Week Thread
EmotionallyUnstable replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think it’s a dumb question. The perception about the guardian cap is that they reduce concussions. The reality is that although this could be true, it isn’t proven in game use. A lot of the statistics provided reference practice/ training camp data (which are already limited in contact) and lab tests. So to the naked eye it seems like an obvious choice for a player who suffers head injuries. For many, the potential benefit doesn’t make it worth their wild, as I know som dislike the feeling, weight and heat from the caps -
Week 9 - Dolphins at Bills Game Week Thread
EmotionallyUnstable replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
So last week the major injuries were all DNP: With Dwayne Carter to IR, the only question marks heading into the week will be Bernard and Samuel. Interested to see if they’ll get in any work tomorrow after a full week of rest. I am guessing Bernard is a go this week and Samuel needs more time. -
Very pleased with 0 in his rookie season. His floor has been established. How far can he go? So much RAC ability. It isn’t game braking but it is chain moving. Id like to see him finish some of the contested balls Allen is trusting him with. Overall it is encouraging seeing him contrubute in multiple ways at such an early point in his career

Diggs hurt (Torn ACL - out for the season)
EmotionallyUnstable replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
It didn’t work out. He is partially to blame. Beane unnecessarily paid early. All in all the end result was not what anyone wanted. Regardless, it isn’t enough for me to celebrate or find redemption out of an injury. This guy bled blue and red for years.
