  1. He literally made that exact play. Didn’t make the tackle, but was 100% the reason bernard had time to flow to the ball. Stood up his guy and strung out the play.
  2. SingleCarry was a good back for BUF and the Bills had to let him walk. What they didn’t have to do was draft his recplacemeng in the 2nd round…especially when he isn’t a 3 down threat because his ability in pass pro is so limited (for a team that wants to sling the rock) I like Cook at a player, just not as an investment. He isn’t moving the needle for this team as much as you would hope. P.S. YPC is a dangerous statistic!
  3. Waving the white flag on this one.
  4. At what, exactly?
  5. My immediate thought was yea. Bengals got the H2H vs us and I suppose the Texas still have a shot at their division where as the bengals are likely in the WC hunt.
  6. Come on Green Bay! Ravebs over Browns Can we get a Texans upset?!
  7. Just give it to Rhamondre. Thats gotta be the answer
  8. Watching Mac Jones get sacked never gets old
  9. This season 17s total $$$ is around 18.6 mil. Conservatively let’s say he sees half of that (9 mil). An 11k fine would then roughly impact his finances similar to how a $60 ticket would effect someone who takes home 50k. Regardless of how you feel about the call, I always find it bizarre how offended some people get that the millionaires must pay pocket change for on field incidents (one that he was completely in control of). Im sure Allen cares less about the fine than many fans
  10. As much as you’re kidding here, this would 100% be the best thing that could happen at this point IMO (aside from returning to HOF elite status and winning a Super Bowl)
  11. Making the Douglas trade looking better and better.
  12. This is awesome thanks. My favorite part was the explanation of EPA as I’ve heard it used but wanted more context for how it relates. Again, this further validates what I’ve been saying about the run game. We’ve been so used to seeing Allen march up and down the field slinging the rock that when we run the ball for zero yards we say run less, pass more. In reality we’re seeing plenty of pass attempts to damage to our offenses overall success. The bills must find a way to run the ball for positive gains when they need to, and not rely solely on the passing game to get it done. As much as i love from playing under center, I don’t think your first point is as much of an issue as the second. Running from the gun can be dangerous. But we’ve entirely remove Allen as a threat to keep the ball in zone reads, RPOs, QB power etc. This in effects adds a defender to the mix when we do run the ball. A simple fix is to continue to do what they want, and have Allen keep the ball, or AT LEAST carry out a full speed fake. If they want to keep their current schemes, so be it. But as @HappyDays mentioned and @HoofHearted suggested, small tweaks to motions, splits and the details within the run game could be enough to take what they’re doing and make it serviceable.
  13. Unkess you’re buffalo and the 5/6 man pressures aren’t getting there😭
  14. This is an old take based off the beginning of the year. No doubt the Broncos want to, and can run the ball. But that doesn’t necessary mean they will with ease. The last three games (post major injuries here) the Bills have allowed only 76 p/g which is 6th best in that time frame. With the recent addition of Linval Joseph, I only see them being more capable to stop DEN on the ground.
  15. Agreed 100% Down and distance is a consideration, but if it’s there…take it. Teams have changed how they rush Allen in these situations to limit that exposure but opportunities are still there. He is passing them up. This is a tricky situation, since keeping his eyes downfield and making a play on the move is something elite in his game that makes him so dangerous. Id personally like to see a lot more designed Allen run opportunities (RPOs or zone reads) to take advantage of the lighter boxes they’re seeing.
  16. Thank you @HoofHearted for sharing your insight. question for you and for all: You believe that we’ve seen more man this season because teams have become savvy to our conversion routes that allow for skill players to run to green grass. Man coverage effectively nullifies that. So if this is the case, are we not recognizing man coverage pre-snap and getting into man beaters? Is Allen unable to make these kinds of checks? Is this why we’ve seen split field reads of man beaters vs conversions or two man route combinations? If the conversion philosophy is designed so that we are to have the advantage regardless of physical traits, when teams are taking that away with man coverage, we should be heavily utilizing means to scheme guys the ball in space.
  17. I agree 100% that the bills have to find a way to run the ball better vs those deep looks. When your OL is having trouble holding up vs 3 and 4 man pressures and there are 7 or 8 in coverage, you can’t expect much from the passing game. Figure out a way to force the defense out of that look.
  18. I don’t see any difference between him and Bagent
  19. Probably. No issue with the pre and post game. Lots of coaches and players moonlight as talking heads in the studio during bye weeks. Just during the game on the main broadcast, talking about his career plans, the tush push, etc…. Just bugs me they are acknowledging the talent on the field isn’t getting the attention they want so they try and fluff it up….weak imo
  20. Wow disrespect to these teams bringing Jason Kelce on the broadcast. This has the feel of a preseason match up. I know they aren’t world beaters but that’s dirty
  21. Great return. The last stutter cut inside vs the punter is an elite move
