Really good game for von to become von again
EmotionallyUnstable replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
First game without the brace, IIRC. We’ll see but I won’t be holding my breath -
We don’t go out often for a variety of reasons. When we do, the destination generally depends on attendees. If it’s just the wife and I, we generally stick to the same 3-4 local joints that are reliable. My order typically changes. I don’t know if it’s aging or lack of brain cells from my playing days, but I rarely remember what I ordered the previous time at a restaurant. For me, going out to eat is 75% about the experience of being waited on with no dishes after.

The Truth About the Bills Run Game
EmotionallyUnstable replied to HoofHearted's topic in The Stadium Wall
How are you categorizing the difference between mid and inside zone? Point of attack/aim point for the rb? DL read? Defensive front? -
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone

Week 12: Buffalo Bills vs Philadelphia Eagles

This screams Kincaid to me. Whether it’s in zone on man, I like him in the seam or 1v1 out of the slot vs their LBs -
The Truth About the Bills Run Game

@HoofHearted Any thoughts on why we don’t see any pistol from this team? A lot of the benefits of being under center and in gun, but rarely do I recall seeing us use it. -
The Truth About the Bills Run Game
EmotionallyUnstable replied to HoofHearted's topic in The Stadium Wall
Feels like there are a ton of things at play here: Obviously this goes back to the off season and the Investment in the IOL (Torrence/McGovern). Pair this with the continued light boxes we see when in spread, it’s inviting to run the ball. When it comes to success rate, it just comes down to guys winning 1v1 match ups IMO. What they were able to do yesterday was wildly different than the Bengals game. Guys just have to stay on bodies, and not get beat at the point of attack. The run scheme is just a numbers game. Get hats on hats and let the athletes do the rest. -
Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?

I like the player. But not at the draft capital they invested for him to only be churning out 50% of snaps at this point. -
The Truth About the Bills Run Game
EmotionallyUnstable replied to HoofHearted's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great stuff. It’s been debunked that the bills can’t run. The issue is more so that they don’t run, or haven’t when they possibly should have. Two other splits of interest: How has success rate changed based on RB? Cook played roughly half the snaps last week. Is this guy really that bad in pass pro or are they just trying to save his legs a bit? He can be electric with the ball in his hands but why the handcuff? Murray is no slouch and Ty Johnson came out of no where, but I think it’s fair to ask more of a 2nd round pick who we all thought would be a work horse. How has personnel effected success rate in the ground game? Are we significantly better out of 11, 12, 21 or even with David Edwards as the 6th OL? Thanks for the data and explaination! -

Would Special be a check? A team would be in quarters and then adjust to the formation when they see we have our 3 WR set to the field?
-
To the boundary, how to you figure they sorted through the stack of 4/13? Are their quarters coverage responsibilities predetermined to the boundary in this formation (lock?) or did the routes dictate which defender took each quarter? We’re they essentially playing man based off the formation to the boundary due to empty? With 57 dropping in zone, would you preferred Allen to have worked the boundary side? I could consume and discuss this kind of stuff all day. Phenomenal post. Thank you very much for the time and effort. One more question: What might have Allen keyed on to know that the pressure was coming from 56 and not 57? Is there something here in alignment, or possibly tendencies we can’t see on the tape, that made him slide right?

Dalton Kincaid: Beane's best pick since Allen?

Ed Oliver and it isn’t close -
was surprised to see they played a bit more traditional 4-3 today, and Dodson really made some stops in both the run and pass game today.

Not much. My comments were gear towards those crediting Brady for the success. I was simply arguing that it’s the execution of the players that got it done. If my post seemed melodramatic, I’m simply pointing to existing issues that we’ve seen in previous weeks that still plague us today, or very possibly could have. As I said in that post, I’m thrilled with the win.

I’ve defended Miller as he ramps up his return from injury. This is the one year anniversary of the injury, and thus, he should be playing without the brace next weekend. Lets hope that makes a difference because I was again completely disappointed anytime I keyed in on #40 First, his snap counts are still minimal in comparison to the other edge players. When he is on the field, and effort to rush the passer ends with an extreme wide wheel running 10 yards passed the LOS taking him completely out of the play. Efforts to make any inside move have been swallowed. I will hold onto a glimmer of hope he can find some last remaining ability to be a game changer, but at this point, the best thing that could happen for the franchise is for him to retire and free up the $$$ we’ve sunk into him. Rough.

Shout out to Dalton Kincaid for the downfield block on the Shakir TD. Without his full speed effort to remain relevant in the play, #10 doesn’t make it to the promised land. Good stuff, DK

I need to find and watch this. I hope someone asked him: ”Hey Baldy, did you embarass all the QBs today or just the ones on your own team? You know you’re responsible for them, and don’t have to try to body slam them in order to bench them? Who was actually embarrassed today?” What a d bag
