  1. Everyone panicking about Flacco and the Browns: that should be his 3rd INT of the night. They aren’t going to sustain this.
  2. Definitely some divas on that team, but they’re keeping them in this.
  3. Undisciplined. Multiple turnovers. Multiple penalties. Saleh is a fool. Who is embarrassed now?
  4. Wondering if this is the game that Flacco comes back to earth. Like @Process said, I just don’t think they have it all buttoned up on O like people think to assume since Flacco has had a few good weeks. He’s also had his share of turnovers and almost another one right there. If the Jets can’t stop the run they’re in trouble. Got to find a way to get Joe off his spot
  5. Perfect opportunity to bring him back to the PS. Call him up week to week if injury occurs.
  6. Ehhh whatever. Kind of refreshing hearing coaches/players just be honest. Still wouldn’t want my guy doing it:, and definitely not likable or respectful…as a fly on the wall though watching two AFC foes? I like it.
  7. Lawson’s got the trots
  8. After looking like we were down and out by Thanksgiving, I’m thankful they’ve found a way to claw back in and make for an exciting run. I am appreciative of McDermott (more than most) and the job he continues to do.
  9. I am hoping for 2 seed as well. But still want the jets to beat the browns, as that is the next best scenario for our team
  10. Yes. If the browns lose out and we win out (but Miami doesn’t lose) we can take the 5 seed
  11. If we really want to exploit that LBs, we should be in empty all game. Make them commit to their assignments and let Allen pic match ups. Personally I don’t see them playing a lot of M2M coverages, likely because we’ve had a tough time with it this year. When teams try and man us up, generally Allen burns them (long pass to Davis vs chargers on the sideline comes to mind). The problem is they bills have been at their best on offense when: 1) Allen creates out of structure 2) They run the ball well They do the latter best out of unique personnel groupings (21 with Gilliam, 21 with Fournette/Cook), 6 OL with Edwards) and it really cuts into snaps for ppl like Shakir and Kincaid. I don’t see it changing, although I wish it would. Its really frustrating to have a weapon like him sidelined. Considering his potential, and what we’ve invested into him, splitting reps with Knox and taking a breather on the sideline so we can get creative with our run game is a tough swallow.
  12. Ground game was solid, and likely the reason they had two scoring drives in the first half. Penalties and TOs, along with those Allen misses previously referenced were some of the biggest issues. Thankfully we had a few clutch Diggs 3rd down grabs and Allen burns left in the tank. Did you watch the chargers game? He had one elite, and a handful of other nice catches. The yards downfield are no there. He still has a lot left to give.
  13. I believe the bolded is why people get frustrated and because it’s miller that is the one we’re counting on, he catches the heat. I can understand why you have your perspective. I also completely get why people are frustrated. Im sure Von is doing what he can to get back to form, but just trying your best doesn’t produce and at the end of the day, that’s what he was brought here to do. Hopeful for next year, but we once again, some how, are in dire need of help on rhe DL
  14. Very interested to see Brady, Allen and the passing offense against NE. We should have no issues (on paper) besting them through the air. However; I remain extremely skeptical of the scheme, execution and personnel usage we’ve seen from the passing offense. This is just one of the many curious pieces of their scheme and play selection I question. We’ve seen a variation of this play since the eagles game, and it just does not get the job done. Diggs is not the prototype WR who is draw up this play for and Allen can never seem to get him the ball in a productive manor. This play can be deadly depending on the coverage and how dedicated the defense is to stacking the box (I especially like the options off the screen to open up the passing game down field *davis scored on this play earlier this yea*) I still just question their ability to get it down, within structure, when they need a win through the air and can’t rely on Allen to be Superman.
  15. Yes they certainly can change what you expect in terms of production, but doesn’t change in terms of what’s invested. Same holds true for any asset. For example first round pick Kaire Elam had large expectations and big investment in terms of draft capital. He came out and has significantly under preformed what we would have hoped for. I don’t expect anything from him, and if we get something, you’ll take it as a win. But in terms of investment, it’s still disappointing. We get caught up in that disappointment when we see it first hand on the field because the original expectations and $$$ cannot be separated from who and what these players offer to the team. Yes we’ve come to expect little, but it doesn’t absolve our own memories of what could have been
  16. Personally, I thought and was not surprised by his slow start. I did expect a bit more by now, as you mention. Generally speaking I think people funnel their frustration with his lack of production at him when in reality it’s emphasized by how much potential we hoped for and $$$ it has cost. No one is pissed at kingley jonathan for low production. Expectations were lower. With Miller they were always “Super Bowl or bust” in terms of how much his acquisition would be worth in retrospect. His injury never changed that, and I think down the road it’ll end up looking like a bigger gaff for Beane (although an unpredictable one) and people won’t hold so much undeserved anger towards the future HoFer
  17. We acquired him and paid him to be our closer. Until he can offer that again, regardless of the scenarios, all criticisms and skepticisms are fair IMO.
  18. What an excellently worded thread title. Well done.
  19. I suppose we need to tackle depth right? Might be better off axing a guy like Alec Anderson
  20. if Bills clinch Sunday and the fins lock up the division, I do not play my starters week 18. Although in your scenario, we wouldn’t be playing Miami again because they would likely be all in fighting for the 1 seed (taken the lead on the H2H with win over Ravebs). No way in giving Christian Wilkins another crack at Allen’s jewls before a trip to KC in the WC round
  21. Posted this in the game thread, but figured worth restating here: Amazinf to think how the Dolphins, who sit at #2, could either: Win out, get the 1 seed, a bye and home field throughout the playoffs or Lose out, drop to the 6th seed and have to play KC on the road. Big Tree Fall Hard. Edit: In the second scenario, Bills are the 2 seed, and get to play whatever 7 seed weasels their way in….Mahomes on the road or Minchew in our house….These weeks are huge!
  22. I agree. And in the same conversation, no one is mentioning how Miami could be the 1 seed or the 6 seed…amazing how the last two weeks could shake out. Ha! What metric are you using to qualify this? they are #1 in ypc, but not in yards per game (2nd to Chicago). I wouldn’t say they are by far the best in the league.
  23. Our guy does it too. We can’t pick and choose. Hes been great this year, as has Allen.
