I suppose we need to tackle depth right? Might be better off axing a guy like Alec Anderson

Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
EmotionallyUnstable replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
if Bills clinch Sunday and the fins lock up the division, I do not play my starters week 18. Although in your scenario, we wouldn’t be playing Miami again because they would likely be all in fighting for the 1 seed (taken the lead on the H2H with win over Ravebs). No way in giving Christian Wilkins another crack at Allen’s jewls before a trip to KC in the WC round -
Posted this in the game thread, but figured worth restating here: Amazinf to think how the Dolphins, who sit at #2, could either: Win out, get the 1 seed, a bye and home field throughout the playoffs or Lose out, drop to the 6th seed and have to play KC on the road. Big Tree Fall Hard. Edit: In the second scenario, Bills are the 2 seed, and get to play whatever 7 seed weasels their way in….Mahomes on the road or Minchew in our house….These weeks are huge!

I agree. And in the same conversation, no one is mentioning how Miami could be the 1 seed or the 6 seed…amazing how the last two weeks could shake out. Ha! What metric are you using to qualify this? they are #1 in ypc, but not in yards per game (2nd to Chicago). I wouldn’t say they are by far the best in the league.

This passing offense is doo doo. Diggs has it, Brady and company don’t.

And yet everyone is singing Brady praise because we ran for 150 in a game. -

Expecting a slow start, looking a bit like a team on a short week who traveled across the country. I also expect them to dominate the game and win convincingly. Go Bills! -

Don't look now...Von looked somewhat Von like...
EmotionallyUnstable replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m pretty confident most of the “he’s looking better, coming along, steadily inproving” perspective are almost entirely a result of the nature of yesterday’s win. If they hung 30 on us, does this still hold up? What if we had lost? I’m not sure what some of you all are seeing, but I’m still waiting for him to be the difference maker we wanted when we signed him. I’d be very curious to see if anyone has any substance via film to substantiate he’s looked measurably improved. It might be a whole nother year until he offers anything meaningful, if ever. Patience, but trying to be realistic about his age, injury and performance thus far. -
Perpetually injured. Great in flashes; and also flashes ag awful times too. no one pumps up the crowd quite like 97

Shelf the Diggs decline talk. If any discussion is to be had, it should be surrounding why the Bills aren’t able to regularly push the ball down the field in the intermediate/deep range. Lots of layers to this. Diggs is a factor, but him as an issue is not one.

Cortland State WINS the Stagg Bowl!

Jerry Boyes is a legend. Congrats to Zac and the Red Dragons (feel gross saying it). I remember throwing the ball around with this kid when he was 8-10 years old. Cool to see him succeed now. -
James Cook: a thread of appreciation
EmotionallyUnstable replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ve been a critic of Cook (draft selection, not necessarily the player) but I was impressed with a few of his cuts/runs today. I think he continues to be a key piece, and for whatever reason, Allen is now willingly taking the back when nothing is there down the field. I will give props to Brady for sticking with the ground game, getting guys in space, and opening Allen’s eyes to the need to take it. I still have some concerns about this offenses ability to press the ball down the field, but today was a new way to win. I only wish they would have had this ability at earlier points throughout the year!
