  1. Entirely a showing of teams that just leave a lot to be desired. Plenty of talent. Obvious holes. Can’t seem to string it together.
  2. Levis can definitely fire the ball. Hard to see his true ability as he can’t stay up right on most of his drop backs
  3. No, not any currently. You didnt say NfL. I think most of them were though, at some point. Plus their father owns G&G fitness….can’t imagine it’s a very natural process.
  4. Between penalties and injuries, this is painful
  5. There are 5 Gronks But superior quality with the watts
  6. I’m getting a strong sense this Steelers D is going to own the Titans this game. If they could stop with 4 penalties on a single drive…
  7. Sam Howell
  8. Davonte Smith
  9. Florida State
  10. Miami Dolphins
  11. I generally tend to lean towards the “McDermott’s defense is too conservative” side of the coin. Surprisingly, the more I think about this match up, the more I hope they keep their defensive game plan relatively vanilla. The Bengals offense is not a formidable rushing attack. They are bottom of the league in Y/G and Y/A. Over the past 3 weeks, they’ve been running the ball less. If we can stop their ground game with our base D, I’m all for forcing the dunk and dunk and playing coverage. Burrows completion percentage during this same time span is 77%, and they aren’t exactly forcing the ball down field (8.2 YPC…#30th in the league) It seems like Burrow is back to his old ways, and torched the 9ers defense when they went man to man. Luckily for us, I see a much more zone coverage heavy plan. That 9ers pass rush did not get it done. Will our front 4? I’m hopeful McDs alignments presnap, paired with the ability to stop the run, will force them out of their element that they’ve been in the past few weeks. I do believe that McDermot will be comfortable forcing their offense to try to string together long, sustained drives. And I’m kind of okay with that.
  12. Sorry for your loss. I always try and think of the great life you provided them. Rest easy knowing you gave that pup one hell of a ride. It doesn’t make their absence any easier, but it helps reset your train of thought from time to time. RiP
  13. Clemson
  14. That’s what we call it. Figured we could give it a try on here with all you football gurus: The premise: Name a player/team that matches the previously stated team/player (alternating) to challenge the knowledge of the board. The rules: - No repeated player/team combinations - No google - No cross sports this time around, stick to football - NFL and College teams only (No XFL, CFL, etc) - if a poster answers and you have a different team/player in mind, you do not need to answer again, just respond to their answer. *The Jay Cutler Rule: If a player/team is named that you don’t think the poster could answer with a realistic reply, you can challenge them. We call this the Jay cutler rule, since not a lot of pros are walking around out of Vanderbilt. Example: Thurman Thomas (player) Buffalo Bills (team) Aaron Schobel (player) TCU (team) LaDanian Tomlinson (player) Chargers (team) Let’s Begin: Patrick Mahomes
  15. Likely just load management. I’m sure fatigue, soreness, bruising, tightness, etc. are all setting in. Just because there is a DNP designation, doesn’t mean he wasn’t participating in rehab and recovery, which might be more beneficial that running routes on air in 30 degree weather. A few extra minutes in the film room is fine by me.
  16. They don’t even trust Elam to practice now. SMH
  17. Roughly 18% of votes had it right. How’d you do?
  18. Seems different to me that he explained. Sounds to me more like the 33 weak is a essentially a cover 3 with the specific indication that they’re in nickle with a rolled safety covering the flat to the weak side of the formation. It looks how he draws it up that the nickle just assumes flat responsibilities to the strength and the boundary corner is deep third. But as we’ve seen and discussed, Winfield doesn’t take the flat (RB) and instead take the first man that crosses his face. Maybe 33 weak is a terminology and the BUCS just play specific match rules to it
  19. Good question. Personally, I eat way too much of the stuff mostly because it’s around. In reality I don’t actually like it all that much, but will mindlessly have a piece here and there. I should be better about it. I think skittles are likely my favorite. One of the many things I and Marshawn Lynch have in common.
  20. Raiders post two flops in a row, losing to the lowly bears and can’t find any resemblance of an offense vs the lions tonight. Giants, Jets, Dolphins loses the next few weeks would put them at 3-8…. Probably not enough to be fired, YET, so my initial 11/20 prediction might not be right. How would they keep this guy?!
  21. LaPorta having a heck of a rookie campaign.
  22. Looks like the lions are playing a bunch of man coverage. Must not respect that offense all the much
