Meanwhile the same posters are sharing their thoughts on how the bills could win: -Josh Allen has to play great - We need big plays on O - Finish in the RZ - We have to force turnovers - We have to tackle better - We have to pressure the QB - We have to shut down their WRs Very insightful stuff. -
Tackling is a rough sport for the Bills.

Good tackling is exhausting and painful. A lot of guys use the missile style or shoulder tackle instead of the traditional wrap up. Drives me nuts when guys don’t finish a play, and instead try to shoulder a guy or unnecessarily lunge. This is especially true on bang-bang receptions, and when closing in quickly 1v1. Always finish the play: you never know when a hand or face mask will jar a ball loose -

I think we’re in agreement. I want him to take the hots AND be Superman. He just has to pick when/where/how -

I think they’ll likely play a ton of zone, trying to mix in some man coverages with pressures at times. I don’t see McD being overly agressive. I imagine it’ll be extremely frustrating to watch, but likely the right thing to do. So Burrow can play conservatively but Allen shouldn’t? Josh needs to do what he did last week. Keep taking the easy money when it’s there, and create when it’s not. No need to unnecessarily do one or the other. I’m fine making Burrow do that, because I do believe our offense can keep stride. Do you think it’s possible to do this and still bring unique pressures? From what I’ve seen and read, that Bengals OL has struggled not only in picking up pressures in pass pro, but has had difficult times blocking up front in the run game. Maybe we could see more simulated pressure looks that I initially thought? I would also be curious to see how we’d fair with some run stunts/blitzes to try and shake them up. I feel like it could play well for 91 and 97 if we get agressive at the DT position. -
I went to a Halloween kegger in college. Saw a guy I know buzzing around lit, only clad in about 50 plastic wegmans bags (back when you got them for free) pulled up around his legs as if wearing an elastic diaper. He had made a plastic Rambo-like bandana out of a few more. I asked him to elaborate on his costume and he said, “I’m a douche bag”! one of my all time favorites.

The Bills are currently 5-3. Their next 4 games leading up to the bye week are: @ Cincinnati (SNF) Broncos Home (MNF) Jets Home (4:25) @ Philadelphia (4:25) Without getting into specifics as to why you think they’ll win or lose each match up, how do you think these next four heading into the bye will shake out? What would you feel “comfortable” with as far as the W/L column coming out of the bye for a December push to the playoffs? Personally, I think if you can take 3 of the next 4, we’ll be in good shape. I see the two home games as the most likely path, with stealing one of the away games (I like the Cinci option, personally). That’d have us 8-4 coming out of the bye. With games post-bye left vs the Chiefs, Cowboys, Chargers, Dolphins, and Pats…I think 8-4 would be comfort for me to know we’ll be seeing post-season football again. How about you?
