Go get Ramsey in the off-season

Gonna need a new #1 cb in a couple of years unless the Bills are willing to pay the megabucks for Tre White after year 4. Not sure how that comes out...... -
Would you take Marcell Dareus back?

Mr Big Puff we were calling him. Never want to see him again in a Bills uniform. -

SI's recent mock for next year has the Bills taking a lb #1........they failed to consider Milano in their drivel about the Bills lb situation. Oh well.... -
Nice game but Allen needs to pass

At this point, Allen is TT V2.0 another running Qb. That has to change if the rook is to be a franchise QB! -
Problems with our run defense.....

Edmunds like to range around (with speed) But, he doesn't like to stick his nose in there to stop the run......future outside lb. -
Edmunds...he deserves some love too
bigK14094 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HE is not a run plugger middle lb.....the number one requirement of a mlb. He will be moved to outside sooner than later if he doesn't improve that imho. -
How about Nick Oleary...who found a job in Miami pretty d.. quick!

Preston Brown Lands on IR with the Bengals

Edmunds isn't a MLB at the pro level yet. He may get there...but jury is still out. He is learning and might be better next year. He still isn't a run plugger, he is more a run them down kind of lb....and, I would not be surpised, if he doesn't mature as a middle lb, that he get moved to the outside. (Ted Hendricks like) Most here on this board are not old enough to remember Ted Hendricks. -
There is no way we will beat the Jaguars

Jags look tough today. But, you never know...that is why they play the games. It appears to me as the line play will favor the Jags both ways. -
Terrelle Pryor was a victim of Peyerson McD bromance.

Derek Anderson must have really gotten walloped

The overall mishandling of the QB position for the whole of the season necessitated keeping Peterman and using him as well. There always should have been a fourth QB....and trading the third QB was an act of total stupidity.......would have been ok if there were even a guy on the practice squad. So, then we were down to two guys....and the fiasco rolled out. Not like we haven't lived this before....I remember Jeff Tuel starting a few years ago...undrafted free agent he...even Marrone, in his stuborness was smart enough to get off that train as fast as he could. Mc D and Bean are culpable here....and showed rookie GM and Coach mistakes here. -
Is this a playoff team with Tyrod?
bigK14094 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not only is the answer NO, it is not even close. The team has regressed in several areas...O line, tight end play, receivers on the offensive side (ignoring the QB issues as obvious) The D has played well, but, really the rookie in the middle lb job isn't the run plugger Brown was.....and the CB position has been a dumpster fire for most of the season so far. Bills desperately trying to find someone who can play cb. Yes, Taron Johnson looks like a 3d cb, but, EJ Gaines replacement has not been found imho. -
this season is over for all intents and purposes. So, its a good time for Allen to polish skills, learn the game with OJT. Maybe, just maybe he will be ready next year then. He is not ready now based on what we have seen to date. He is a stud out there, and I like him on the hoof, but he needs to show QB finess and accuracy in running the team before we go all in for the next decade.

Bills Sign WR Deonte Thompson to a 1-Year Deal
bigK14094 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, Jeff Tuel was as bad, but he got a relative quick hook, Marrone was more impatient. Actually, the criticism of the broadcast team for the Chicago game was very pointed in this regard.....maybe they got the idea there. -
Foster needs to do the Marv Levy thing...with the postcards. One year, I don't remember the receivers name, Marv came to the guy after the season and handed him a stack of postcards addressed to Marv. Marv told him to have somebody throw him 100 balls each day during the off season. And, Marv wanted the kid to write down how many he caught that day and mail the card to him. Allegedly fixed the kids hands that off season. Foster needs his hands fixed!!!

Bills vs. Jets Postgame and Bye Week News
bigK14094 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best QB play we have seen this year. That is indicative of a front office that seriously blew it managing that position in 2018. Beane needs to learn. The whole Petermann fiasco reminds of the Jeff Tuel fiasco of not to many years ago. Front offices that churn management result in management that does not know the lessons of the past. Put Bean in that category, and maybe McD as well. Meanwhile, we the fans, see all the mistakes over and over. Barkley , right now, is the best QB the Bills have.....Allen is not ready....but, should play again this year for developmental reasons. Barkley is now odds on to be the #2 QB next year imho. And, Mr Bean, we need a 3d QB to be either on roster or practice squad next year. I would even go for a fourth, and promise not to critize that decision. No more Petermann / Tuel fiasco's. (they avoided that criticism last year with the use of Joe Webb)
