I love Benford. I actually loved him from the moment we picked him. But I don’t think he is in this same tier of player as Horn. Benford is an excellent zone defender and very competent in man. I would say Horn is your classic shut down man cover guy.

I think it makes sense for okay players to chase the money. They probably don’t have a huge shelf life And they need to maximize contract value. IMO, it makes no sense for elite stars to chase the money. They are going to be paid at a high rate regardless, and I think they need to be more concerned about their fit with the team (to maximize their performance), and the ability to win (to maximize their legacy).

Feels like this means they are going to roll with Russ again, and cut ties on fields.

I don’t get paying this much to a defensive player. Not worth it. Just have to draft better. Lot of great pass rushers aren’t high picks (TJ watt, Hendrickson).

I really like this. I am happy with AJE As Rousseau as ends. I think if we had better interior D-linemen, then their production would sky rocket. A guy like Sweat is great when you put him on a line with two interior game wrecking tackles.
