  1. Just finished season 3 of cobra Kai, and thought it was the best season so far. This may just be me, but the nostalgia was at an all-time high, with the references to KK1 and 2, and bringing back a lot of the same characters, themes, music, subtle references. When they re-did the song “feel the night” for a golf n stuff scene, felt like it was 1984 all over again! I also can’t believe that Martin kove (aka John Krease) is still such a brute. The guy is like 75 years old. say what you will about the cheese factor, but for us karate kid die-hards, this is an amazing trip down memory lane.
  2. No; they don’t. That’s an indictment on the character of those rosters.
  3. I have read multiple doctors saying that it’s really the next 24 hours that you have to watch for symptoms to develop. I hope Mahomes is okay, but it seems pretty irresponsible for Reid to be spitballing here.
  4. For a different perspective, I think playing these two games has been tremendous experience for this young team. It’s taught these guys how to win the playoffs. I think it will pay dividends next week.
  5. I like Mahomes but he is surrounded by total low character trash guys like that. If that wasn’t Taunting, I don’t know what is. And don’t get me started on Hill.
  6. thats exactly it. Reid seriously called a weird game, or else he has never seen henne play.
  7. yup— still doing it. One of the worst game day coaches in the business, in my view.
  8. Let’s see if Mr genius Andy Reid outsmarts himself again and has henne throwing bombs.
  9. Literally the only way the browns were winning is Mahomes getting knocked out. You could tell KC was going on for the knock out. This is huge.
  10. Mahomes ain’t coming back. This game is ripe for the taking.
  11. I remember being terrified of the re-match. They ran it down our throats in the regular season, and we couldn’t move the ball. we just dominated them in the AFC championship, running it right down their throats. I remember Thurman schooling that Dan Saleamua.
  12. to your last sentence, isn’t it great that Josh is legit a solid guy you can root for? Odds are when you are getting your franchise QB, they are some bratty Texas high school star or golden boy from So Cal— totally unlikeable. Josh is gritty, humble, and a real underdog— very easy to root for. I have 16-year old nephews that aren’t even Bills fans and they have his jersey.
  13. Would be curious to hear this crowd today. Aren’t the chiefs letting it a bunch of fans— I think like 16,000?
  14. I can see the Texans hiring EB just to try to salvage this. I doubt Watson would demand a trade if they hired him.
  15. agree with this completely. Even the “new and improved Ben,” can be very “mercurial,” for lack of a better term. Sort of an odd guy to get along with, I think. I am sure you know this well— but he would do weird things, like say strange things to the media about his receivers, or contradict the coaches on the status of his injuries.
  16. Praying for the Eagles. That seems to make the most sense. Texans would be absolute idiots to trade him within the conference.
  17. feel the exact same way. It will be interesting to see how the game goes and what team I will emotionally be drawn to.
  18. This makes sense. As I recall, the Bills a long time ago (may have been Wade) in a game ended up basically picking the direction, forfeiting receiving the ball in both and the first and second halves. I think it caused some confusion for the fans and the announcers.
  19. I wanted to point out two unheralded but tremendous plays: 1) Levi Wallace sack. Ravens were really marching on that first drive. That sack was huge. And it was really hard. Wallace didn’t bite on the fake and made a really difficult but sure-handed tackle. 2) Dion Dawkins fumble recovery. Similar to the Williams recovery last week, if the Ravens recover there, I believe they are on our side of the field, and are set up really well to move ahead and change the momentum of the game.
  20. interesting to hear steve smith’s views. He basically said a big problem is the types of routes that Roman has the WR’s run— called it simple elementary school stuff, which DB’s easily can defend.
  21. huh? So he though the ravens (who run 90% of the time) were more disadvantaged than the Bills?
