My main hope for this game is some better Run D. I get that Henry has always given us issues. But we have to be way better against other teams. This is a good test.

It’s tough to assess how good the jets are after week 1. They seemed to really manhandle the Steelers dline, so I think they will be pretty good at running the ball and protecting fields again against us, since I think our D is worse than the Steelers. but on defense, the Steelers were able to really decimate them in the passing game. That’s with Rodgers back there and no threat or a running game. I am not sure how their D can handle our O.

Tre’s injury is a groin too? You can’t make this stuff up! That has to be a record breaking number of groin injuries!

exactly. The reason our DEs weren’t keeping contain is because of how desperate we were to get Henry down.

The reality is even had we signed peppers, it would have taken months to integrate Him. This team doesn’t do a great job of integrating guys on the fly like this.

the thing about McCarthy that I can’t quite figure out yet is his ceiling. I could be wrong, but he strikes me as a very high floor but not necessarily high ceiling guy. But he is really a great guy to root for and a born leader.

We have to be smart about this game. Every time we go to NYJ, it’s the same thing. If we take care of the football, run well, play pretty good defense and ST, we can win comfortably. I would prefer a very conservative game plan. Take points when you can get them, etc.

This was one of those weird games that if we face these guys again in the playoffs, I think we can play a lot better than and improve a lot more than they can.

I am biased since I follow Michigan football, but McCarthy is a baller. He is going to be a very solid QB for them.

I saw that in real time— that was near the end of the game. His last TD run. I think the taunting I saw was going on starting in the early 3rd quarter, well before that. you might be right though that it was going both ways. but still— it was a lot of cocky fan engagement from the ravens, when the game was far from over. I texted some friends during the game about how there was so much time left and the ravens are going to look like major choke artists with all this early celebration. Didn’t think it would actually happen! I think Harbaugh is a great coach. But even his head seemed to be more in the celebrating and revenge stuff, instead of closing out the game.

I really don’t get why the ravens were so into taunting the crowd last night. It was super weird. All night long. I don’t think I have seen them do that to other teams before. It was like personal against our fans for some reason?
