  1. well, I respectfully disagree after seeing the film. He had anyone he wanted within 5 yards of the LOS, and didn’t want it. The dolphins did a nice job against the run, but the short passing game was there all day.
  2. I agree with a lot of this. It requires a high level of execution and being on schedule. But I would disagree that Miami took anything away from us. All the short stuff was there, but Josh refused to take any of it.
  3. Agreed. TB ST was basically a mirror image of us. Total train wreck on those KR’s.
  4. but everyone on here thinks we are suddenly going to drop 40 on them?! I am telling you— the gameplan needs to be to play super clean. No sacks, no picks, take what the D gives you in the passing game.
  5. I feel like Coddrington went straight to the dog house after 1 muffed punt. Maybe Hardeman gets more of a leash because he is a WR and we can use him on offense. I will say that it was disappointing that he couldn’t haul in that long bomb. Perfectly thrown.
  6. I think our odds of winning in the playoffs is better playing how we did against KC, as opposed to how we played against TB. People’s perceptions are skewed because TB pass defense isn’t great. Curtis Samuel isn’t making toe tapping catches on 3rd and long against KC.
  7. how do we historically lose to the jets? Some dumb interception or fumble and some ST gaffe. When we beat them, it’s always playing a clean game and letting them make the mistakes. texans D is elite. They are going to try to capitalize on our big mistakes. It’s their only chance to win.
  8. i don’t know, man. I don’t see the Texans doing anything on offense. I just worry about turnovers giving them a chance to score points. I would prefer to play very conservatively, especially on a short week.
  9. All you guys saying HOF, slow your roll! I think he is a second ballot HOFer only.
  10. agreed. I know what play you are talking about too. I think it was the long tucker TD catch (not to be confused with the long Tucker TD run!). Bernard strikes me as very slow from a reaction point. Milano strikes me knowing where to go, but not being able to physically get there. taron seems to just be out of sorts— maybe playing too undisciplined to make up for physical shortcomings?
  11. I am with you. The fatter, the better. Need some big thumpers to hit some guys.
  12. I am a little surprised that the Bills haven’t made some more moves at linebacker. That is a position where you can easily find some solid thumpers just off others’ practice squads. we view shaq as some savior. He is just a mid-tier ordinary linebacker. I would guess there are a bunch of comparable guys floating around to snag.
  13. We need to play this game like we have played the jets. no turnovers, very conservative on offense, let Houston make the mistakes. they have an elite defense and nothing on offense. Our ST and defense should be winning this game.
  14. I love the divergent views on Shavers. There was that one poster on here in preseason who called Shavers a total “loser.” Now someone else thinks he could be a HOFer!!! I love this place!
