Disappointed in that Kansas loss. I thought we actually looked like the better team. Shooting and FTs remain an issue. Surprised we can’t hit more from outside with this group. Have to be able to knock down wide open jumpers with some regularity.

those steeler beat guys complain that Calvin Austin is a terrible 2nd receiver. Or complain that there isn’t a great pass rusher opposite TJ Watt. Yet we don’t have any receivers or ends on our roster that would be good enough to be even their second best options!

I was a little annoyed by Sampson’s post-game comments on the court. The gist of it was he felt Houston played poorly. I think he did say Syracuse played “hard,” but you would think he might tip his cap a little more.

I was yelling at my TV over this. This is a problem with most head coaches. They don’t understand the 4th down decisions should be dictated by the specific game and opponent. You don’t just always “go for it” because that’s what you do. The entire team (coaches, players) needed to understand that to win that game you kick FGs, get field position, and play clean.
