  1. Josina Anderson - ESPN reporting that Broncos will sign Ryan Harris to add another T.
  2. Bills will define about 11 core players -- who will have more than one contract cycle with the team... - 4 Defensive Lineman - Preston Brown - Gilmore - Watkins - Clay - An OL (likely a T) - A QB - McCoy Get ready for a lot of movement outside of this group. This group will likely take up 60% the cap or $90 million....leaving about $60 million for the remaining 40 salaries (the 51 highest salaries count toward the cap)...which is a $1.5 million average...for every $4 million a year guy in the bottom 40 the Bills need 3 $700,000 guys to balance this out...lots of rookies, street free agents make up the last 20 or so guys on the top 51...scouting is key.
  3. Playoffs certain, Lombardi expected....
  4. Required listening...thanks 26CornerBlitz... If you aren't fired up as a Bills fan after listening to the interview you are dead...
  5. The Shout Song -- playing over and over and over....
  6. Another reason to feel old more experienced....
  7. We are a month prior to the 10th anniversary of Rettata (trademark ChefJim)...since its discovery, the benefits of pickle juice have been debated by science. As part of an important research study I am conducting on frivilious use of the Internet, I respectfully request your vote and input on the poll.. Research: Original Rettata (trademark ChefJim) Thread: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/25951-oh-this-is-nicereal-nice/ The proposed benefits of pickle juice: http://www.medicaldaily.com/pickle-juice-4-health-benefits-drinking-green-juice-278780 The anti-pickle juice forum: https://skeptoid.com/blog/2014/12/08/should-we-all-be-drinking-pickle-juice/ Thank you!
  8. Only averaged about 10 plays a year last year for the Texans...might be all used up...
  9. I will miss him but the Bills may not..
  10. @JoeBuscaglia: #Bills HC Rex Ryan: If we ever have to play lacrosse, Chris Hogan is probably the first pick. Marrone and Hackett just marched into David Caldwell's office and demanded obtaining 7/11....They can have him for a 6th rounder...
  11. And #51 is still available on the roster...seems like they would have assigned this number if Spikes was totally out of the picture.
  12. I could give a crap about Brady's phone... For a deflation story...this whole thing is overblown. I know my opinion won't be popular...but if this is truly a standard for the NFL, game balls should be randomly checked and thrown out in-game. Using a slightly (and we are talking slightly) under inflated ball is akin to a scuffed baseball for a pitcher not even a spitter. In general, the NFL takes the worst possible approach to these things -- prosecuting after the fact rather than proactively protecting their interpretation of the integrity of the game.....the NFL can and should do better than this. We would all be bitching to holy hell if the Bills were the team accused. As usual here, the cover up is worse than the crime and Brady will be punished...but I place the blame squarely on the NFL for their lax definition and enforcement of the "integrity of the game" (what bull ****).... For game #2 of the upcoming season, I want Brady playing. I want it to be the worst game of his career just like the Bills D forced Aaron Rodgers into last season. The Bills are a dominating D and I don't want a week 2 win tainted like the week 17 win from last year....
  13. Carrington is represented by Relativity Sports which is Eugene Parker and Roosevelt Barnes. Barnes works with Alex.
  14. In the words of Rex Ryan WEO---"Because its on now"
  15. Sounds like the other bar patrons got more value from this then Mayweather/Pacquiao. Who knew that the PPV cameras should of been on Chippewa...
  16. I totally agree with you NoSaint -- if a player receives a tag and he signs elsewhere it should not count against the signing teams comp pick calculation...you are right on morals, ethics and logic -- unfortunately wrong in the world of Goodell....
  17. The Bills have no roster spots left with the 13 signings. Easy enough to create a spot for Spikes, Landry or Brad Smith...but Bills are at the limit. Jermaine Barton - OT - Illinois State Erik Williams - DE - Bethune Cookman Were the two new ones on the list for me..
  18. I am not speculating -- its the rule for the formula....Look at Rodak's story and click the link. Clay counts.
  19. Clay was not restricted he was transition tagged...he was an UFA with a tag. He counts in the Comp Pick calculation.. By the way love having the MEGAHAND back...a healthy Carrington is an upgrade in the Bills depth which was already pretty damn good. Now get Spikes back please.....
  20. Bills are still due a comp pick... Lost Dean, Spiller, Searcy, Smith, Pears (Hairston was a non-tendered RFA I believe) Signed Clay, Felton, Carrington, Taylor (Harvin was cut, Cassell and Shady via trade) There was probably competing interest in Carrington -- likely from Pettine. That's the reason for signing him now.
  21. I will invite the other Raleigh/Durham locals to chime in...this is from watching NC State games this year. The last two years he has been strictly a RT he has a massive frame with super long arms--even for his height. This makes him tough to get around. He uses his leverage and strength well in the run game but is slow to get into pass blocking position--relying too much on his arms -- which likely won't cut it in the pros. I can't ever recall seeing him to get to the second level in the run game. So bottom line -- More of an interior prospect than a tackle to me but lets see what happens.
  22. 5th-Jake Ryan - ILB/OLB Michigan - Strong but a bit undersized, 4.65 speed, contribute on teams right away 6th -Darren Waller - WR- Georgia Tech-6' 6"-- 4.45 speed 6th - Tayo Fabuluje-OT - TCU- Massive -- missed three years due to Red shirts and Transfers but started every game at LT for TCU last year-- has lost 20 lbs on coaches/scouts advice since the season ended - 6'6" 338 -- nimble 7th - Christian Covington - DT - Rice - 290 lbs - quick off snap -- has DE potential in 3-4
