Who are we competing with for the #1 overall pick?

Titans will be ok as they had to deal with lots of adversity yesterday. Cardinals. Possibly Cleveland as well. -
Was there a solid plan on the QB after Tyrod left?

If you want to say Peterman deserved the start, fair. Even though I would not have started him. It was obvious to me even before yesterday`s game that Peterman performs at a much higher level when there is no game planning as he has huge limitations. He is too easy to game plan against. Weak arm. Can't stretch the field. Panics and just chucks up the ball under pressure. Those things he does not possess^ would scream to blitz him and to take away the short throws. Which is precisely what LA did last year and what Baltimore did yesterday. The result? Arguably the worst 60 minutes combined for a NFL QB -

I can go back and forth all day, but to keep it simple I will sum it up with this. Mccaron sucks. Peterman is historically bad. Did I miss anything? -

McCarron already has proved way more than Peterman even in such a small sample size . 2 and 1 in 3 starts with over a 90 rating with 6 TDS and 2 picks. I will not even dig out the Peterman stats as they are literally as bad as you get in the history in the NFL. While Mccaron is mediocre at best, the two aren’t comparable. McDermott completely butchered the situation by keeping Peterman over Mccaron. He’s now been burnt twice by his boy, Nate. I meant for QB. Teams don’t game plan against QBs in pre season -

Based on Peterman has the worst passer rating in NFL history maybe? Pre season means nothing as that was just confirmed yesterday . -
He said no to Baltimore on a multi year deal. What makes you think he would come to buffalo especially after their performance yesterday? I strongly believe he would rather retire than play for the mess the bills have on offence.
-
Yes sir. He’s the leader of the team and he had to take accountability for the blow out yesterday but he didn’t. For the most part I do like McD, but he handled the situation very poorly yesterday
-
Really not sure why you turned it extreme with that example. Goes without saying but I’m pissed either way. But back to my original point before you took it to that level. It is frustrating to hear him say that because not once did I hear him take any accountability for yesterday’s loss. Not once. As the head coach/leader of the team, do you not agree he should have taken responsibility for that onslaught yesterday?
-
I agree. I wish McD would have said “it starts with me “, or “I will get it right”. I get he’s just doing the typical answer by saying he will look at the tape, but it really is frustrating to hear that. I sure as hell he looks at the tape. Just got absolutely slaughtered in every aspect of the game.

Old age

But that is just poor drafting. There is a reason the bills missed the playoffs for 18 years. You need to draft well to be successful. Can’t build a team through free agency/trades as you would be way over the cap/have minimal draft picks for long term success/depth
-
Well of course in the short term it’s a great trade for the bears. We will see about the long term though
-
In which way? Sure your chances of missing are somewhat high if that’s what you’re referring to. But there are other factors like having them under rookie contracts, 4 to 5 years younger/fresher. So if you hit on those draft picks, you’re going to be a perennial contender for a long time
-
Having the last laugh 1 half into the trade that involves two future first round picks? Lol
-
If A rod is healthy I still wouldn’t bet against them. But if he’s done even for a couple weeks then i 100 percent agree
-
The guy apparently can’t see well anymore. I read something about that. Makes sense because he chases pitches 4 feet outside the zone lol
-
Lol so true
-
Lol that would set Green Bay back a longgg time. Still can’t be worse than the Chris Davis contract from the orioles though.. Haha
-
A rod hurt already..

2 wins against New England. We always play the pats tough and usually come out with the W:) On a serious note it’s very depressing to think how bad the pats are going to slaughter the bills multiple times this year. I guess we are used to it though
-
Green bay as my survivor pick isn’t looking too smart right now..
-
I agree. The bears were wayyy tooo conservative last year with him. Will be interesting to see if Nagy and Trubisky can somewhat replicate Goff and Mcvay from last year
