  1. Teams did not want Tyrod and one team wanted Glennon.... That would be one more GM wanting Glennon over Tyrod, in terms of teams that needed quarterbacks
  2. Yep, I am in 100 percent agreement with you. But you know a lot of people are going to say that is a college offence and it is unsustainable, and the Bills need to run a pro style offence... My answer to that is watch Deshaun Watson this year and the style of offence the Texans ran with him. Pretty sure Seattle's championship caliber defence doesn't think it is too gimmicky..
  3. No problem at all. And ya, it is crazy. Osweiler as well of course. Flynn in Seattle. Teams get so desperate and will do anything to try and land their franchise guy
  4. Exactly. He should be in the shotgun about 90 percent of the time, with built in zone reads. But nope, put him under centre and don't make defences have to account for his greatest weapons, which are his legs..... Really mind boggling to me
  5. You are proving my point if you read what was going on in this page. You are pretty much agreeing in what I am trying to say
  6. In a way yes. It is a fact that Glennon got offered a starting spot with more money than Tyrod, who had to take a paycut to remain a starter for the Bills. Teams in free agency obviously didn't want Tyrod as a starter for their team, and one team wanted Glennon as their starter. So I guess you can say there was a slightly better market out there for Glennon opposed to Tyrod. Which speaks to the inept general managers
  7. He did get a bigger contract than Tyrod. Amazingly so I must say
  8. Because they are younger and have more potential. Not because they are necessarily better as of right now
  9. They are bad but they still somehow find ways to win. Like if they beat a bad Oakland team tomorrow, they will be 5-3 and basically in the same position as the Bills
  10. Crazy about the sacks. Only 15 all year and I'm pretty sure 6 or 7 of them came from the Carolina game. So basically only 8 sacks in the other 7 games
  11. The one problem I have with some of his posts is how he thinks his opinion is gospel and he is right and everyone who disagrees with him is wrong and doesn't understand Football. Basically calling us idiots because we don't agree with him. I have no problem with people saying Tyrod isn't a good QB as everyone Is entitled to their opinion, but just don't diminish people and act like you are an expert when really, your opinion is the same as every single other on this board. Just because people disagree and have a different view, doesn't mean they don't understand football. Saying TT is good or bad is not black and white. There is lots of controversy and everyone has the right to their opinion. If he was that knowledgeable about deciphering QB talent, he would be the highest paid scout/GM in the NFL, not spending countless hours arguing with fans on the twobillsdrive ripping TT every chance he gets.
  12. I won't argue too much with that. We are in total agreement that they lost that game in the trenches. I guess I think Dennison deserves a bit more blame then you do, but all good
  13. You may want to re visit a lot of the game, especially the first sequence of the 2nd half. Because they were trailing 24-7 for almost half the game...
  14. I don't think the blame on Rico is ridiculous. To your point about the line, the Bills got owned up front and wouldn't have won the game with a great gameplan. But still.... I saw nothing to keep the Jets off balance. Why not more screens? Read options? Quick slant routes? They basically tried to establish the run up the middle with tryod under centre. That's mistake number 1. Bills run ALOT more effectively from shotgun with read options as that is basically inarguable. Just look at the stats the previous years. They ran one read option and they got 18 yards from it. Then back to the running under centre for almost negative yards the whole game. How can you not blame him for that? Just because your o line sucks, it does not excuse the fact that the offensive coordinator can call a predictable, vanilla game plan. Was he the reason they lost? Not the main one because to your point it was lost in the trenches. But it doesn't change the fact that his play calling was awful
  15. Who knows. It was the most stubborn and ridiculous game plan. No screens to slow down the Jets pressure. Actually he threw 1 and it worked.... go figure... Just constant runs up the middle, with 0 creativity. Run, run, pass. And he didn't switch that up for the most part until mid 4th quarter
  16. I am not excusing that part. I am not excusing the ultra conservative, vanilla game plan. Run, run, pass. That was basically the game plan last night. And he refused to switch it up. It honestly reminded me of Nate Hackett.
  17. I think it was both. Mostly the line, but doesn't excuse the fact that a grade 5 girl could have called a better game than Dennison last night.
  18. I agree. Draft for sure needs to prioritize the lines and linebackers I think as well
  19. No matter what, if the Bills lose, people will blame Tyrod. People just cant wait to rip on the guy. If he does ANYTHING bad and I mean anything; or things don't go well for the Bills, people just lick their chops and can't wait to rip on him
  20. I would agree with this. I do like Tyrod because it is refreshing to see a QB who is actually competent for the Bills, but he is not a franchise QB. Not yet at least
  21. Romo also pointed out that there is pressure in his face on almost every play, and that makes it nearly impossible to sustain drives
  22. Good and we'll thought out post. Pretty much agree with everything you said
  23. Little bit different though. A terrorist attack is an isolated incident that effected a relatively small number of people. Katrina destroyed people's homes and lives and basically ruined the city for millions of people
