  1. Lol yep. And Oakland still sucked with Mack. (Except for one year, but that was because their offence was ridiculous)
  2. Don’t remind me:(
  3. We don't necessarily know, but he never got a start in that pre season. Which tells me the Seahawks had no real intention of starting him. He just forced their hand by playing so well in the pre season games (and I am sure camp as well) that they had to start him. Also helped that Pete carroll is a play the best player > contract player as well.
  4. From what I strongly recall Wilson had no business starting for Seattle as they signed Flynn to that big contract and I believe also had whitehurst at the time ahead of him. But he literally forced his way into the starting role by ripping up particularly the pre season games . So ya I do think you’re right that there is a lot more bad than good. But I also think it can be a good showcase for the depth guys fighting to make roster spots/make their team or showcase their talents to other teams if cut.
  5. For the most part I agree overall with what you are saying. But I do think some good can come from pre season. You really get to see your depth players perform and to see what they are made of. In some cases I don't think camp reps provide that. Some guys are just gamers and need to play in a game in order to reach their full value. Look at Rus Wilson in 2012. If there was no pre season, he does not start that year and who knows when he would have played his first game. Same as Victor Cruz with the Giants as he was on the bubble just to make the team. Many more examples as well. I think 2 games instead of 4 would be most ideal. But as you said that won't even happen because of the money factor.
  6. It’s the Fitz curse. Every team he goes to, he always ends up starting games lol
  7. Why are you fine with it out of curiosity? I get the whole excitement with Allen and all, but as a fan I won’t be fine with them getting 3 to 5 wins this year. It would be extremely disappointing
  8. Ok. So I’ll take your opinion as a “No they won’t cut him” lol
  9. You guys think Coleman gets cut? Was hoping he would have a big game but hasn’t done anything at all so far
  10. What? Lol. How does that have anything to do with what I said about the Bills o line and o line coach?
  11. I agree. I’m not saying he is good. Cause I think he’s a pretty bad coach. I am just saying success on the o line is not as simple as firing him and bringing in a new coach. There is no talent on that line. Combine that with a bad coach and this is the result so far
  12. He isn't getting cut. But in my opinion he definitely is underwhelming so far in his career
  13. While Castillo should share lots of the blame, at the end of the day the Bills really don't have much talent on their o line
  14. He also traded up and drafted Sammy Watkins and passed on Khalil Mack in the process..
  15. Ok. Fair. But I disagree. I never liked the signing the signing to begin with. Do I know an alternative? No I’m not the GM. But I TRUST that the expert would have better alternatives to giving out a big contract to a mediocre player. That’s just common sense. Don’t need to be a football gyro to know that
  16. Lol relax. I was actually being polite as I said please if he was actually interested. I really don’t expect him too, I just didn’t want to type out another long message. So maybe just relax a little eh?
  17. But I don’t really understand where you are coming from... So you’re saying it’s justified for a mediocre team to overpay for a mediocre player just because they have a need? Is that actually what you’re saying?
  18. If you really would like to know my answer please see my previous messages
  19. Because I don’t make millions of dollars making these decisions... I simply am a fan and observe the players on the Bills. I have no idea what the Bills could have done differently as I don’t study free agents, contracts, college football etc...But what I do know is Star looks bad and he’s making way too much money. Do you not agree with that?
  20. I’m not the GM of the team so I can’t really say and recall all the scenarios they could have done. But what say I’ll is this: You don’t give big contracts to mediocre players just to fill needs. That’s not a way to build a successful team. Take a flyer on a guy, draft one, address the position next year. I can assure you there were/are better options than giving star 10 mil a year
  21. Just because the Bills need interior d like help, it doesn’t give an excuse to give a huge contract to a mediocre player.
  22. Just no excitement on so many levels. Hes not the QB of the future, he won’t be lead the Bills to the playoffs. In my opinion it would just be a waste of a year
  23. I will be so depressed if Nate Peterman is the opening day starter
  24. Ahh ok gotcha bud
  25. I know what you’re saying, but 99 percent of the time it is. Slow metabolism, bad Genetics, and all that stuff that people claim when they gain weight is very overrated. It really comes down to calories in vs calories out. Not hating on the guy at all and not judging him for the record
