  1. He looked pretty bad this year. Looked washed up Not very well lol. This year he had lots of drops from what I remember. And stupid penalties
  2. Interesting question. Probably brother's team. Although if my brother was on the Pats or Dolphins, then that would probably divide my family apart...
  3. To a certain degree, I agree with the OP. Not to say that the Bills weren't sore and tired because I believe playing 2 NFL games in 4 games will make any professional football player fatigued. But the Jets had to play at 1 on Sunday as well. Its not like the Jets had 7 days off. My point is I do believe the Bills were tired to a certain degree.... But I am sure the Jets were too as they had the play 2 games in 4 days as well. The Jets overcame that adversity, and simply outplayed the Bills in pretty much all facets of the game
  4. This isn't looking too promising lol. Let's hope they keep flags to a minimum
  5. I believe he had the sunday nighter against OAK MIA this past week. Called a lot of penalties
  6. I agree. Robert woods career stats- 65 games, 234 receptions, 2902 yards, 14 TD Matthews- 53 games- 246 receptions, 2912 yards, 20 TD. Before looking at those stats I thought he would get more than Woods, and I think those stats pretty much confirm he will. He has also been a number 1 receiver wherever he has gone, where woods has been the number 2. The only thing Woods probably does better than him is blocking
  7. I agree with the 2nd part in what you said, but I do think the gameplan was to stack the box, rush 5, and keep Tyrod in the pocket. I think they did a pretty good job of that. They took away the run game, and forced TT to beat them with his arm and not his legs. This is not to say TT didn't have some nice throws that game from the pocket cause I actually thought he played descent, but I think the blueprint going forward will be to stack the box, and collapse the pocket so TT can't use his legs to beat opposing defences
  8. Agreed. Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson kill defences with their back shoulder timing throws. If they don't have that timing, those plays they make look easy turns into easy incompletions or interceptions
  9. So sad. As a Jays fan, this was one of the pitching greats for the franchise. 2 time cy young winner, and one of the clutches pitchers. R.I.P Doc
  10. I think they were trying to strip the ball too much, which may look like they are quitting because they weren't tackling well, but I don't think so. This team prides themselves as playing as a team and playing hard. In my opinion it was a combination of trying to strip the ball, fatigue, and frustration
  11. Pass rush is the biggest thing I would say. You can't give QBS all day. If they can't get pass rush this week, Brees may throw for 400
  12. Not going to quit the board if I am wrong, but I don't think Miami is making it. I wouldn't be surprised if they do because they find the weirdest ways to win games, but I don't think they are talented enough at the end of the day
  13. You're right for sure and definitely have the right mindset. I just need to actually see them make the playoffs before I start getting too excited. I don't know how many times I've been excited mid season and they let me down everytime. So to your point, I'm letting it play out, but the only difference is I'm prepared for the worst and hoping for the best
  14. If a guy does something bad to a girl in a long term relationship, like cheats on her, that girl is not going to forget the past and just turn the page. If she stays with that guy, they are going to have to build up lots of trust, and he is going to have to prove to her that things are changing for the better. For me, going 5-3 isn't enough trust yet, and especially after that Thursday nighter, those past 17 years of failure start to creep in my mind again. It's good that you are optimistic, I'm just not there quite yet
  15. I see what you are saying, but the main reason the Bills got beat was because they got dominated in the trenches. Seemed like Jets won every single one on one match up. Even though what you are saying is correct, there is no excuse to be losing 34-7 in the 4th quarter against a supposedly inferior opponent
  16. It depends what type of team they have. Last year against Miami they let over 200 to Ajayi on the ground, so that kind of defeats the purpose of having bad weather to their advantage. Need to be able to run the ball and stop the run to use it for your advantage in my opinion, and minus last weeks effort against the Jets, they usually are able to do that
  17. As long as you acknowledge that Tyrod is overwhelmingly better than Thad, and that Thad wouldn't even get close to 8-9 wins with this same team, then I will take your opinion on TT a little more serious lol
  18. I never once said not too draft a QB. The original post was he wants Tyrod gone next year. That would be a mistake in my opinion. Keep him and draft a QB in the first round. And I will stick by saying it will be not be easy to find an upgrade over him. Do they need to try? For sure. But don't get rid of him, unless they want to tank. Maybe they should sign Thad Lewis though right?
