Fair enough and all valid points. But was just saying your comparison with the edelman situation is apples and oranges. Zay was probably the 2nd or 3rd guy on their depth chart last year, and they brought in new guys this year to upgrade the 2 and 3 spots. Where Edelman was the number 1 and they brought in amendola and hogan to provide depth to the receiver position. Not to upgrade over Edelman. Big difference.

Completely different scenario. Edelman was number 1 on the depth chart and they added those guys to assist/compliment him. Zay is not even close to number 1 on the depth chart and they didn’t add those guys to compliment him. Zay at BEST right now is number 4 on the depth chart behind Beasley brown and foster. Then you have him fighting with Duke, Mccloud, Mackenzie Etc. For the 4th and 5th spot. Sorry but your example with the edelman situation doesn’t compare at all to Zays situation. Completely different

WOuld say idiot. Why not just draft Darnold or Allen last year at 2, keep Beckham, and build from that?

The future finally is now in Buffalo

I’m 50/50 on him myself. I like a lot about him but he also drives me insane sometimes with his conservative mindset. He has finally got a bit of talent around him so let’s see what he does in year 3. -
WR John Brown (Ravens) to the Bills

Ya I definitely think they should grab a WR in the 2nd or 3rd round assuming they have a guy they like -

I wouldn’t say the WR position is set. Well I hope not at least. Brown foster and Zay for the top 3 as of now. I don’t know about you but in my opinion I still think that’s a mediocre top 3. -

100 percent agreed. Out of all the holes the Bills have, Poyer is not one of them. Has some flaws but overall is a pretty descent football player. -
How can we not be all in on Metcalf now?
BillsFan130 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly can’t comment on Metcalf as I don’t really follow college too much so I’ll defer that to you. But ya just hoping they get an impact player at 9 regardless of what position that player is -

Fair points, was just answering your question. Colts haven’t been to a SB recently but that Nelson pick is looking pretty great for them so far. But ya picking a OL high is definitely not a sure thing. The draft at the end of the day is a crapshoot for the most part. -

Nate Solder, New England. 2 SB wins for him . (Playing devils advocate here) -
Haha. Both, maybe?

As much as I hate Edelman, the guy is a gamer. He deserved the MVP. Pats deserved to win. As painful it is to say

Not to mention Whaley could never get the QB situation figured out. He did make a few good moves. Got Hughes in a trade, drafted some good players especially in the later rounds. But he also missed on too many picks and like I said above, he never could find the big piece which was finding the franchise QB
