  1. For sure I agree. I just think sometimes we like to rip on Miami, because yes, they are definitely are a flawed team- But to me I really think it's as simple as can Tua stay healthy. If he can, they proved they are a playoff team. When he misses extended time, they can't overcome it.
  2. All true. But for Miami it's as simple as this: When Tua is healthy, they are a wildcard team. When he's not, they crumble. Last year they got 8 wins, but if Tua was healthy they easily would have had 10 and a playoff spot So If Tua stays healthy, they probably get 10 wins this year . That's a big "if " mind you lol
  3. Ya exactly- He's got 0 leverage. And the more time he misses, the more chance for rust he will have to start the season. Not exactly smart in a contract year IMO
  4. Respectfully I'm not sure I buy your first point. I was just using Edwards and McGovern as examples. If you're a good receiver, you're going to be playing in the nfl for 10 years. But yet they hold out all the time in contract years.
  5. Imagine if every single player had that mindset though. Didn't practice because it was "business "? I am sure McGovern, David Edwards and guys like that are worried about injuries in a contract year. But they still show up and practice
  6. In years past that wasn't the case as McDermott always went with "doing your 1/11th of the defence", instead of maybe leaning into more athleticism. But I think this year you might be right, as I think the Bills are going to lean into more athleticism
  7. Cook is a good player but I hope they don't extend him. A lot of expensive contracts on this team, and I think going economical at the RB position is the way to go IMO
  8. Just listened to Joe Marino and he said the bills are using a lot of 5 man pressures. Love to hear that, as I think most of us are sick of the bills playing passive on defence
  9. You know he missed 4 games last year because of injuries, right? Thats part of the reason Jerry Jones doesn't want to pay him. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1D1xNbcrZu/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  10. He typically plays in these practices in years past if my memory is correct. Not sure why he didn't this year
  11. Putting Josh Allen out for a couple 11 on 11 drives in a scrimmage practice for the kids impacts the bills chances at getting a Super Bowl?
  12. Ya say what you want about McDermott, but usually he is pretty good with these PR kind of decisions. But it looks like he dropped the ball tonight. (No not talking about Keon Coleman)
  13. Good points and it's definitely an interesting argument on who's better. I think it's pretty clear that: -Sauce has had a better total career so far -Benford had a better 2024 and seems like he's ascending. It's really hard to project who will be better in 2025 and onwards. Both are great players
  14. in fairness to him, the man was spot on about the Matt Milano injury last year haha
  15. Not saying you are wrong, but how do you know that Vrabel wanted to trade AJ Brown? Usually that is from front office due to salary cap implications
  16. Yep agreed. Red zone is more for fantasy football IMO. Would much prefer to watch a game or two like you said and get into the flow of the game
  17. I would hate to see what a regression from Cole Bishop looks like lol
  18. What throw did he exactly miss here? He went for a wide open Shakir and got bumped by Dawkins as Chris jones pushed him into Josh. If Dawkins holds up for a quarter more of a second, it's a easy 25 yard TD
  19. What a strange trade all around. Not even sure if there is a clear cut winner in this one
  20. I'm not a big McDermott fan, but there's no way you can tell me with a straight face that Rex Ryan, Chan Gailey, Doug Marrone, Gregg Williams, Mike Mularkay and dick Jauron are as good as McDermott.. He literally got the bills in the playoffs without Josh Allen in 2017, something that none of those guys I listed above did. Again, I'm not a big McDermott fan. But there's no way he should be compared to the drought coaches
  21. Purdy for me. No way he is worth 50 plus mil IMO
  22. fair point. Ya I do remember that game for the division and McDaniel somewhat stuck to the run, but like you said, the bills were really effective with some run blitzes that game. McDermott and McDaniel have a pretty good chess game going. Should be fun going into year 4 of them coaching against each other
  23. Those are fair points and very possible. I don't think he's a lock yet either. I do think he's "most likely " going to get in IMO But a lot can change with the points you brought up
  24. Hahaha. Stupid comment, but in some ways he is right lol. Playing conservative worked really well UNTIL that last meeting on November 1st. Bills always played light boxes and Mcdaniel finally learned how to beat it by sticking to the run that last game. Mcdermott will have to be more aggressive the next time we play them, as I do think Mcdaniel finally figured it out.
