Are you the REAL SlimShady'sGhost? Or another SlimShady'sGhost who is just ghost imitating? Whatever, Happy Birthday! -
Josh Allen - week THREE report card
The Dean replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh, and the offensive line, are works in progress. Sometimes Josh if forced to leave the pocket far too early. Other times Josh holds on to the ball for too long. Sometimes both of those things (and other issues) happen at the same time. The improvement each has made from last year is fairly impressive----and is continuing to improve week after week, IMO. It hasn't been, and won't be, a straight line improvement. There have been and will be some head shaking bad plays/decisions. But so far, they've managed to win three straight games (two on the road) while working out the kinks. Hard not to be a little happy and optimistic about the way things are playing out. -
With that said, I was quite impressed with Mr Gore's performance today.

Josh Allen - week THREE report card

You've never heard of a 4.0 average? Seriously? Junior high through senior high I ONLY got number grades. 99, 95, 90 whatever. I thought Josh looked otherworldly at times and bone headed at others. But I'll take the outcome and the entire improving package. -
PFT? Not much Bills love..

If it gets to you, you allow it to do so. Just refuse to allow it to do so. I completely ignore it. -

I'm very intrigued by those liquor bags. I'm pulling the trigger! Thanks.

Drugs are the answer! (What was the question?) Seriously, for the sake of the marriage. For awhile I wasn't a big fan of flying. Takeoffs were the worst for me. After that is was mostly OK. During landing I always figured a good pilot could land the plane somewhere, even if it wasn't perfect. But I found getting a bit plowed before getting on the plane relaxed me enough to settle in. Now I'm like you. I tend to put my arms in the air and go "Weeee!" when there is bad turbulence. It used to really piss off my boss who was terrified to fly and always wanted to sit next to me. She dig her nails into my skin if anything at all happened in flight. When I'd shout "Weeee!" during the worst of the turbulence, she'd start beating the crap out of me---while laughing. But she was more relaxed afterward. There was a method to my madness.

Agreed. 100 proof bourbon is 50% water. So I try to drink twice as much, just to make sure I'm properly hydrated.

Make that three previous players from the IPP program who have made it to 53 man rosters prior to Johnson: https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/2019-INTERNATIONAL-PLAYER-PATHWAY-PROGRAM--PARTICIPANTS-TO-SHOWCASE-SKILLS-AT-PRO-DAY-IN-TAMPA.aspx Obada, Mailata and Böhringer. Both Mailata and Böhringer were drafted. So perhaps Johnson is the first participant of the IPP program to be both placed with a team (not via FA or draft) and had not had previous NFL experience. That's a mouthful. Maybe if Wade makes it he can be the first IPP participant of the IPP program to be both placed with a team (not via FA or draft) and had not had previous NFL experience and isn't a cheating Patriot*. I can send you a link for someone who can take care of that. You use TOR, right?

According to this article it seems as though Jordan Mailata also made a 53 man roster via the IPP program. But he was drafted in the 7th round: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Player_Pathway As I mentioned in my first post in the thread, perhaps he isn't counted because he signed with several teams and was on the Jags practice squad at one. But he is the 1st player from the program to make an NFL roster. That is not in dispute. Both Odaba and Mailata were IPP players and made a teams 53 man roster. You can discount the way they came into the program, but the facts speak for themselves.

More Tom Brady protection by the league
The Dean replied to LABILLBACKER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wasn't picking you out in particular, though it may have seemed like that. And I would have GLADLY provided the link, had I found one. Not sure how any of that can be considered "snowflake" in any way whatsoever. Just a courtesy I always try to extend, not only for the OP, but also to us innocent bystanders who happened upon the scene. So far, many have commented this was a topic already being discussed. If there is, I haven't found it. -
More Tom Brady protection by the league
The Dean replied to LABILLBACKER's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It might be nice is someone criticising the OP provided a link to the thread where this is already being discussed. Not obvious at all from the titles of the recent threads. Also some things are a bit hard to search for. I'm a pretty good Google master, and I'm having trouble thinking of search terms that would give me good results and not be completely muddled with unrelated threads that mention Brady, protection. Best I could think of was "stay off tom" (quotes included.) That search yielded zero results. -
Not my usual kind of post. But I just saw this and thought "holy crap that's one great performance for men 30 years past their prime" (at least the two top billed performers). If I had to pick a nit, I'd say it's a bit too close to the studio album for a live performance for my tastes, but that's a very minor nit, in this case.

Harry Chapin sang about a taxi? Perhaps that's what has you confused? -
Literally the VERY FIRST post of the thread.

Durkee owned Franks some years ago. It was often referred to as Durkee's Frank's Hot Sauce. "In 1977, Frank's RedHot was sold to Durkee Famous Foods.[1] Since the purchase of the Durkee brand in 1995, it was owned by Reckitt Benckiser until 2017. Frank's is produced in Springfield, Missouri" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank's_RedHot
