He sounded a bit rough for a few years there. But when I saw him with the Nightflyers he was in great voice. Sounded pretty good the last time I saw SD, too. He's been working on strengthening his voice in his old age. But he never had a traditionally great voice. But he sure knows how to sing (which is different than having a great voice).

I'm sure many here know that the Dan is at the very top of my musical favorite list. Even if this music isn't your cup-o-tea, it's hard to deny the skill of their songwriting (musically and lyrically) and their unbelievable production skills. It was tough when Walt died. I saw one show and while it was top-notch musically, there was something missing. To Fagen's credit he kept an empty space on stage, with a mic (and maybe a guitar stand?---I cant' remember) in honor of Becker. Maybe that's why it seemed so melancholy at times. I believe they have dispensed with that this year, as Connor Kennedy joins the band full time on guitar #2. Still they mention/honor Walt at every show, so I hear. I'll see for myself when I go to the Orpheum in Boston to see The Royal Scam on October 30th. Oh, and as to the OPs original question, I've seen that video but don't want to watch it again right now. If you are still interested tell me what you think the mistake in the vid is, and I'll let you know.

Well, and please don't take this personally, you'd be a moron. You'd not only lose and cost the team and the league a fortune in court costs. You'd tarnish your team with players and agents---and probably quite a few ethical owners as well. There are far easier, and frankly more legally and ethical methods to deal with a bozo like that. Acting like bozos in return isn't a smart way to deal with this stuff. And AB's just opened the door to one of those avenues already.

Stallions, nothing against you in particular here. But I just thought I'd take the opportunity here to point this out: ESPN didn't say this. Marcel Louis-Jacques, from ESPN.com said that. ESPN has (please excuse the exaggeration) 1,000 different reports/announcers/analysts with 1,000 different opinions. Same with CBS, Fox, NFL Network, SI, etc. Carry on.

I understand that concern. But since Matthew and then Irma, people seem to be taking a it a lot more seriously here, i think. If we go 10 years without any damage, they may slip again. Somehow I don't think we'll get that "lucky". But the think ordering a mandatory evacuation more than 48 hours before the storm might hit, is the kind of thing that can lead people to ignore authorities. Couldn't they just put the area on "notice", telling them sometime Tuesday they might get an evacuation order? I don't know. But anyone really paying attention to the storm knew there was no issue for this area on Monday. Seemed like a simple CYA move. It's pretty much over here, whatever "it" was. We were very lucky, that's for sure. But as it ended up, a regular big rain storm is worse than what my area just went through. Again. Thankfully. What happened in the Bahamas was simply tragic. I really hope no more people are hurt by this storm. That's awesome.

Well, I've made my decision. I'm staying put. This looks to be quite the dud, for us anyway. I'm not complaining, though. Best of luck to those of you living on the coast a bit further north.

I do too, at least as a guy to bring in and check out. Part of the reason is because the Vikings are so good at finding/developing receivers. Breaking through the logjam they have at the top end of that position is pretty hard to do. I'm not sure he ever got a real good chance, there. And what's the harm of having a look?

Back when I lived there I believe the Bills fans went to The Fours. That still there? I've never been a fan of music during commercials. But when you are in a bar, you need breaks to go to the bathroom, get another drink, etc.

Well, while I can't speak to the atmosphere at home, I assume you have plenty of food and drink available. No? And if you don't have friends, you have family, right? Home is a perfect spot for game watching (if it's on the tube).
