Ha! Of course. I just googled "horseradish". Since I never liked it, I had no interest in just what the hell it was. Same family as mustard, cabbage, wasabi and broccoli. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseradish Never liked any of these so at least I'm consistent. (I can eat broccoli, but not a big fan. Broccoli rabe is decent on occasion, I suppose.)

I have to say I agree with some of that. I don't do "I dare you" either. There's nothing "macho" about being able to eat something hotter than someone else, IMO. It's just that my tastes run to the seriously hot. And as I get older my tolerance (and my minimum floor) gets hotter and hotter. But there's more to it than just hot. For example I despise mustard and horseradish. I don't even want them in my refrigerator. But I really crave pepper hot. Still it has to have a good flavor---good to my taste, of course. And I know this sounds a bit odd, but if I like to eat something that tastes great, but still makes me hallucinate a bit---and maybe gives me the hiccups. That's my sweet spot!

No offense to Sublime, but let's give props to the original recording:

"The dreaded loaded breakdown"? I can relate to that.

Melinda's are among the best hot sauce lines you can buy, IMO. The XXXX Reserve is fabulous and the Naga Jolokia a is outstanding, as well. Hot and great flavor (and generally not too salty). Tabasco is my ketchup. I pour it on fries. I get seriously pissed off when I ask for Tabasco and they bring me Texas Pete. Texas Pets is not a hot sauce. It's a "lukewarm" sauce (actually i think that's giving it too much credit). But they must have great sales people. Several restaurants dropped Tabasco and other hot sauces to only carry Texas Pete several years ago. Needless to say the backlash among customers was enough to get many of them to change that policy. While I'm trashing hot sauces I think are awful, let's just say the Sriracha craze is as obnoxious as the Texas Pete takeover. A taco joint only had a jar of Sriracha on the counter. Seriously? A taco place? Another barely lukewarm sauce with far too much sugar. Ring of Fire isn't particularly hot, but has a great flavor. For wings? Franks, no other option. The hottest sauce I've ever had was probably Pure Cap. On the plus side, it's seriously hot. On the negative side, it sucks. A drop of it can ruin the taste of a potful of anything. Da Bomb Insanity (and many of Dave's Insanity sauces) have much better flavor, IMO. One GREAT local sauce down here is The Cringer from Red Flag. https://redflagspicyfoods.com/sauces.html It's simply sensational, IMO. But it's ultra thick and is probably best for many applications when mixed with another good hot sauce. I try to keep several hot sauces in my trunk (which obviously can get very hot). Typically I have a bottle of Tabasco, Tabasco Habanero, Mama Sita's https://www.amazon.com/Mama-Sitas-Labuyo-Pepper-Sauce/dp/B0060QXKS2, and odds and ends I get from the discount grocery store. I try to be prepared when the crazed maniacs at these restaurants tell me they have Tabasco and then try to shove Texas Pete or Sriracha in my face!

Feels like Ramsey to bills an option...

Well put and succinct. I don't think he's a distraction this team needs. -
Actually, you seem to be looking to argue. I responded to this quote: Nowhere in your post does it suggest that other veteran kickers are "talked to" or that the game might have changed enough that today's players realize the value of a good kicker. So I reread your post and still think my response is valid. But I'm not here to argue with you. I just think comments like "players don't talk to kickers" is an antiquated view of the relationship among players, these days. In other words, it's a stereotype and one that's a bit outdated. IMO of course.

I might take the drive down there to party with Bills fans. Then during the game, if Tampa Downs is open, hit the track! -
Honestly how often do you think people get arrested for sex in the backseat of the car? But mostly I was just kidding. However I actually wonder if it was necessary. And yes, after they were arrested and escaped, then they deserved getting arrested. No doubt. I'm not saying they couldn't be arrested for their original offense (or 2 offenses). But c'mon. Really? I think this may have been avoided with a little bit of police discretion and restraint. There is one big exception I can think of at the moment (I'm sure there are more). If they were recidivist trouble in that town with many incidents, I might see some reason for the escalation.

So let me see if I have this correct. They were drunk (obviously) but riding bicycles. Yes they were riding at night without lights, and I wish the cops pulled more people over for that (as with riding against traffic, on the sidewalk, not signaling turns--this goes for autos too, etc). But arrest them and put them into a police car? Seriously? For riding a bicycle drunk? I understand that it is illegal to peddle under the influence. But there is really not much of a chance of these cyclists killing anyone other than themselves. Shouldn't they just have been issued a citation? With that said, i have to ask, "is having sex in the backseat of a car against the law?" I get that it was in the back of a police car---but c'mon. That makes it hilarious. If the cop had half a sense of humor, he'd let them go simply because they were so outrageous. I mean, unless they called him a motherf$#%er or something, Full disclosure. I've broken these laws on many occasions. Riding a bicycle drunk? Absolutely. May do it again later this week. Sex in the backseat of a car? Not in awhile, unfortunately, but hell yes! Quick note: For those of you who don't know Fernandina Beach. It's a pretty quiet beach town, especially this time of year. I don't think they were on any major roads with much traffic, if that matters to you.

I honestly considered going to the Pro Bowl on several occasions, when it was in Hawaii. Had plans one year with friends, but I had to bag. They went and had a great time. Not sure if they even went to the game. Now that the Pro Bowl is in Orlando, less than a 2-hour drive away, I've never even thought about going. -
On teams with long standing veteran kickers who have won game after game for the team---YES players talk to those guys. I think you are living in the past before Offensive and Defensive players realized how important a great kicker is to the team.

This. Yes it's just two game against inferior talent. So I don't make TOO much of it. I'm not saying they're a top 10 team. But man, if you can't enjoy/appreciate being 2-0 and seeing obvious growth in the QB/OL and WR positions, I question if you really are a fan. -
Hmmm. What is this new "round about" technique? On second thought, never mind.

One of the "Hermits" plays in a bar band down here. All of this is irrelevant! Completely and utterly meaningless. Clap, stare, jump rope, whatever. None of it matters. Have you seen Belicheat on the sideline? Chuck Noll? Bud Grant? Judge them on their coaching ability/record. Forget the trivial BS.

Funny stuff. I had no idea who Walter Murphy was until I googled him. Nice choice! Why didn't the video embed?

I won't say I despise Paul, but I have about zero interest in his solo music. Far too sappy for me. My recollection is they were about equally blamed and hated. You may have a better feel for that, though. At least Yoko had some talent, even if one doesn't like her taste.

I don't like the article because I don't know what Settlers of Catan is. I Google it and I still have no idea. Seriously though, another good job, Pete. -
Back in the 90's someone mentioned Paul McCartney in front of an intern. Her response was, "Isn't that the guy from Wings?" Well, she wasn't wrong. But sheesh.

Well put. But I'm a hopeless romantic.
